The Machine [Open/Accepting]

"Ah, well they received their proper punishment. All we can do now is clean up the mess they left. As for me, I have to go get my face on to meet Shadow. We're going to rendez-vous at her place, since it has less people than the usual restaurant. Less chance of people listening in on our conversations. Of course, that also means less protection, but I think at this point I don't need to worry about that, at least with Shadow" Damien said. He then turned to Monica. "But I wouldn't be surprised if there might be an ambush by some rebel organisation that might be using Shadow, so I still want people on watch and undercover. They'll just need different disguises than the usual restaurant goer" he said to her.

"As you wish." Monica replied, pulling out her phone and sending orders for him.

"Good luck." Jian replied.

Damien nodded to Jian. "Thanks. I'll be back later. Hold down the fort while I'm out" he said and then headed off to become 'David' again.

"Alright. Will do." Jian replied, signaling Damien as he left.

"Phew... I didn't realize how much dust accumulates over a year. Looks like my wash is finally done." Shadow huffed as soon as she finished cleaning her apartment and putting her clothes away. "I'm glad I never had anything in the fridge or the garbage." She muttered, suddenly realizing the time. "Oh crap!" She yelled, ordering room service before taking a quick shower."

After Damien got his face altered with prosthetics and makeup, he put on a black dress shirt with navy blue necktie, brown dresspants, and some good shoes. After taking a cab driven by a secret police member undercover, he arrived at Shadow's place and rang her bell.

"Oh good. Room service is finally here." She muttered, hearing the doorbell ring a moment after she got out of the shower. She went to the door in her bathrobe. "Well, it's about t-." She started, opening the door and seeing Damien. She flushed a dark red before closing the door. "J-just a moment!" She yelled, the door slowly opening back up on its own since it wasn't closed properly. Shadow was running back and forth around the room, panicking to get her clothes back on despite her long hair now dripping all over the floor as she continually swore under her breath in a panic.

Damien chuckled and stood there with his arms folded. "I guess you're running a little behind" he said, not saying anything about the door that was slowly opening.

"Well, sorry, but I wasn't here to clean the place in over a year, or restock the fridge. I had to rewash all my clothes and dust the place too." She told him, brushing off her outfit and turning, only to realize the door was open. She blushed a dark red, saying nothing as she picked up a folder from the table and handed it to him.

"So, is this it? You don't want a payment or anything?" Damien asked, taking the folder and opening it to look at its contents.

"I don't really need money." She shrugged. "I'm more or less just still doing this to ease my boredom. I mean, now that I'm wealthy, it's really all I know how to do." She shrugged. "I'd rather not be 30 and already talking about my 'glory days' if you know what I mean." She shrugged. "I suppose you can pay me in a date or something."

"Ah, I see. And where would you like to go?" Damien asked. "To the theme park we were at once before. A restaurant? Go for a walk somewhere?"

"Any of those are fine. I'm not that picky." She replied. "Though, I will say that theme park was a lot of fun." She smiled.

"Well then, I guess we should go there. Grab whatever you need and let's head out" Damien said.

"N-now?" She asked, slightly surprised. "Um... ok." She replied, turning to grab some of her things, half of which were loaded guns just in case. "Ok. I'm ready." She said, walking over to him.

"Well, I'm already all dressed up. Might as well do it now" Damien said, meaning his fake facial features as well as his outfit. He took the file with him down to the cab, opening the door for Shadow. He got then got into the cab himself and handed the file to the cabbie. "Take this to Ms. Ravenstone after dropping us off at the private theme park, then return and wait for us" Damien ordered. He then called up Monica and informed her that a file was being delivered to her by one of the 'cabbies'.
