"Then I guess I'll hide out here for awhile, wait until things cool down." Larai said with a small shrug and a grin. "At least, I won't be leaving without a proper disguise if I'm going anywhere past mom and dad's place."

"Even if they do try to hunt you down, I'll fend them off. Two guards or twenty, they wouldn't lay a finger on you." Daemon bragged with a cocky air about him.

Larai couldn't help but note the contrast in attitude towards the idea of soldier coming after them. Before he seemed unsure, but now, cocky? She shrugged such thoughts off and offered Daemon one more, longer lasting kiss. "Good. I'll hold you to that."

((Maybe this is just me, but I for one think that would be a very good opportunity for the big revelation of Daemon's inner demon taking over. After all, we'd be talking about the slaughter of a good chunk of an army. Happy murder fun time for Daemon indeed.))

After a lasting moment of silence, Larai finally pieced a few bits and pieces together. "Hey...Daemon? How've you been feeling? You've been acting a little different lately." she finally said. First, it was the return of the massive libido. Next, the incident with the guards. Now, the cockiness is back full blown. Larai feared that his demonic nature might be returning, and dearly hoped that did not mean he'd grow bored of her and start seeking out other women soon.

"I feel perfectly fine, but I have?" Daemon said with a confused look on his face.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Yes, you have. To start with, which is not me complaining by far, but the increase in sexual interest. Also, you've become more confident in comparison to that humble attitude you've had lately. Also, you did not hesitate to show those soldiers you could kick their a** if they stepped out of line." Larai said, thinking about each one as she spoke it. "Are you feeling any better than usual?"

"Again, I have? I didn't even realize...." Daemon said blinking a few times in surprise. "Well, if you're not complaining, than no reason to worry, right?" he said with a shrug.

"Right~" Larai replied with a large grin, blissfully unaware of the actual severity of their situation. After a moment of what felt like awkward silence, she asked, "So...is there anything you want to do now? If not, I'll go lay down and read for a bit."

((I was hoping for it to be a surprise for the big reveal, but you just had to go and read my mind, didn't you? XP ))

"Well, we always have our 'us' time...." Daemon said, flashing his devilish grin as he put an arm around Larai's waist and pulled her close.

Larai couldn't help but smirk back at Daemon. "More? Already? Well...you know I can't say no to that~"
