The Machine [Open/Accepting]

Damien snickered. "Not doing a good job so far" he commented cruelly.

"Hey, there's a difference between getting scared and getting hit." She retorted, walking out the exit of the funhouse.

"You still jumped" Damien teased. Now Shadow was the one getting in a snit.

"Oh, I think you're making stuff up just because you're jealous." She replied, teasing back.  

[Eternal_PrinceOfFire]

"Whatever. Just tell yourself that. Anyway, where should we go next?" Damien asked, so that he could get the last word in about the subject at hand.

Shadow stuck her tongue out at him before she looked up at the sky, realizing the sun was about to set. "Lets ride the ferris wheel." She told him. "I think they're going to shoot off fireworks soon!"

"Well then, let's do that" Damien said and led Shadow over to the ferris wheel. He looked up at it. It was certainly large.

"Is... something the matter?" She asked, looking at Damien as he looked up at the large ferris wheel.

"Nope. Just admiring the size of the thing" Damien said before handing over a couple of tickets and taking Shadow up to the seat.

"Wow, plush seating." She smiled, taking a seat beside him. "The fireworks should be starting soon. We should have a great view of them." She smiled at him.

"Indeed" 'David' replied as the wheel started going around.

"Oh, right. You're not really the romantic type, are you?" She huffed, folding her arms. "Well, whatever. We should at least enjoy the view while we're up here, right?" She asked as it went around. The ferris wheel stopped a little passed the top for them as the sun had set.

Damien wrapped his arm around Shadow's shoulder. "What. You mean you want me to kiss you?" he teased. "I wasn't aware that you wanted me to be romantic."

"I-I didn't mean it that way. I meant it in the 'admiring the moment' way." She quickly retorted, turning a dark red, though it would have been hard to see in the dark.

"Ah, I see" Damien said, pulling his arm away. He then watched the sun set. "It is a beautiful view. You don't often see it in the city, as it sets behind buildings. Though at a few of my villas the view is really nice."
