I use proper English a lot of the time. Sometimes I don't, but for something like someone's name I will. It is just natural to me, don't you just love how school drills things into your mind.

Nature dictates that I must inform you that Gaia usernames are more akin to titles than actual names (in spite of them being called usernames). Where titles are concerned, it is purely a stylistic choice as to how they are written (in this case typed). In such situations, proper English would dictate that you yield to the "author" of the title and their stylistic choice.

Naturally, it would be a pain to constantly type out "m u f f i n s", so a simple capitalization of her full/partial title is perfectly acceptable.

She doesn't seem to think so. I'm done with this subject, I can't seem to please her right now, so I am just going to drop all talk of her.

That's because what you did and what I do is completely different. You typed "M u f f i n s", whereas I simply type "Muffins". The way you typed it comes off as a correction, whereas mine comes off as a natural compulsion (anyone who knows me would know what I mean).
