What're you interested in playing..?

You want me to use this "Mahavishnu" guy as your guitar-playing basis..? If so.. Um.. Learn the blues and then country! It's, in all honesty, the best place to start. Get an acoustic..? Learn the two/three blues scales..? Play'em on the/Learn the Cycle of fifth's maybe (E, A, D, G, C, F, B-Minor, E-Minor, A-Minor, D-Minor, G-Minor, and C-Minor/B)..?

That's how I started, cept for switching the acoustic with an electric. It's actually pretty simple once you start.. When your hands are used to moving and you know the minimal of theory, BAM! At least that's me.. I'm still learning though.

If you wanna slap..? Uhh.. No clue. Not in my repertoire..?

And how long depends on how good you wanna be..
I mean, I plan to do it for a living (Music College/Session Guitarist FTW!). My daily schedule includes, at the least, four hours. A good day is probably eight or nine.. maybe ten.. hours of practicing, ear training, and studying. No joke. On school days, I get to sleep around eleven and wake up at four thirty.. Practice!

Drawing.. I'M HORRID. I have nerve issues. I shake. And twitch. Guitar, surprisingly, is not effected. Must be the concentration..

I think again in Nov. we should send word out to SY and HV to have ppl who wanna join the merger guild to come again i think people forgot that we had this going on and we need to get the mods more active some are I know but we need them more active
