The Machine [Open/Accepting]

"Indeed. Well, I should be going to do that now. I'll see you at a later time" Damien said to Jian, then headed down to his office to call the admiral who had disturbed him and Shadow the previous night.

"Alright then. Have fun!" Jian called out to him as he walked out the door. He then turned to go back to his office to get some work done.

Shadow suddenly got a text as she checked over her finances. "Terrorist attack downtown... the heck..." She muttered, wondering whether or not it was worth her time to go and pursue the threat.

Eris laughed maniacally as she watched the explosion from atop a nearby building. In her hands was another charge that she primed and tossed off the side of the building, running and jumping to the next building as the charge exploded, causing that building to topple as well.

Damien wasn't aware of the explosions as that was a matter for other officers. The admiral was called in to Damien's office for a private conversation.

The admiral entered the room with a salute and a cocky smirk on his face. He looked clean and well groomed as if he were expecting a promotion or revenge.

Shadow took a shower and got suited up. 'Apparently the underworld can't run a city without me.' She thought. 'Off to work.' She thought, getting on her motorcycle and heading out. As she went down the highway, she noticed as building began to crumble down and turned off the exit to check it out.

"Hello, Admiral. How's you day been going so far?" Damien asked as he twirled a pen in his white gloved hands while looking at the admiral. He wanted to start of nice to lead the other soldier into a false sense of security.

"Fairly well. Yesterday wasn't the best of days for me, but today is a new day." He smiled, hoping this wasn't about him getting arrested the previous day.

"Ah, yes. Yesterday" Damien said, placing the pen down on the desk and then resting his chin on his hands. "I believe something happened?"

"I-It was just a small mishap. Nothing one such as yourself should be worried about." He said with an uncomfortable laugh.  

[Anniria]

Eris laughed maniacally as she held up her last explosive for the day. She really wished she could carry more on her, but alas this wasn't some cartoon where she could throw around infinite bombs. Even though that would be completely awesome. She stood on the street, primed it and threw it into a nearby store front, before running away down the street in slow motion, jumping as the store exploded. the explosion propelling her further.

"A small mishap, you say? Drunken and disorderly conduct is not the way a proper Diethelmian should behave" Damien said. He then pressed a button and ordered a bag to be brought in.


A soldier walked in holding a plastic bag and placed it on the Absolute Leader's desk. He saluted Damien, but not the admiral, then headed back out.

Shadow watched as the army began to surround the place. They wanted to make sure no one had escaped. Shadow slid her motorcycle outside the barricade and looked at the officers waiting for Eris to appear as another store blew up nearby within the barricade. Shadow said nothing, waiting.

The admiral raised a brow confused. He wondered how on earth Damien had known so much about it. After all, this wasn't the first time he had done it, and he certainly wasn't the only. Suddenly, his eyes widened as he remembered the beautiful woman he was trying to flirt with and the ugly man she was with. 'There's no way... no way that ugly b*****d actually knows Blackrose. Then again, I did hear he had a brother...'

It's a good thing for the admiral that Damien couldn't read minds, or the admiral might have been taken away and shot for thinking such things. "Will you so kind as to open the bag and look at the contents inside?" Damien requested, with an innocent air. The contents in the bag was Shadow's outfit and Damien's shoes. The things the admiral had puked on while intoxicated.

Eris got up from where she had face planted in the ground and looked at the soldiers at the barricade. She leapt to her feet, stuck her thumbs in her ears and blew a raspberry at them while waving her hands around before running down a nearby alley, laughing as she did so, "Can't catch me!"
