The Machine [Open/Accepting]

Damien grabbed the phone and picked it up. "This is the Absolute Leader" he said into it.

"G-glorious Leader. D-don't be alarmed but I uh..." The speaker stuttered. "It's Vincent and Valkyrie. They're in the hospital, b-but they're fine. Just minor scratches and bruising." The man at the other end of the line began, trying not to upset Damien.

"What?! What happened?!" Damien demanded, gripping the phone tightly.

"They were demonstrating a project for a national exhibition, and they were in the running for the national champions, and someone replaced their chemicals with highly reactive compounds. Quite a few people got injured. They were wearing heavy safety equipment, so luckily, neither of them were hurt very much." The man replied.

"I see. Well, that's somewhat good news. I am assuming an investigation is already under way?" Damien asked, feeling a little more relieved about the twins, but also angry now too.

"Of course, sir. Everyone is being questioned and we are looking for evidence as we speak. The detectives said the motivation is likely money since the winners receive 10,000$ upon their victory." The man replied. "The doctor also wanted me to inform you that they've been calling for you ever since they got in."

"I see. Which hospital are the twins in?" Damien asked.

"The main military Diethelm hospital, sir. The one just a block away from your headquarters, sir." The man replied.  

[Eternal_PrinceOfFire]

"I see. I will visit them then" Damien said, then hung up. He called up Jian first before he decided to head out.

"Yes. I want no mistakes." Jian told the man on the phone as he sighed and hung up. Immediately he picked up the phone. "Chief General Kimfeng's office." Jian began, sorting through papers.

"Hey, it's me" Damien said, "I'm stepping out for a moment. I need to head over to the hospital. The twins were injured. They're not seriously hurt, but I still want to see how they're doing."

"What?" Jian said with alarm. "Ok. I'll hold down the fort. Hey, text me how they're doing when you get there."

"Thank you" Damien said and hung up. He then grabbed his hat and headed out. Although it was just a block away, Damien made sure to keep safe and so took a couple of military armoured vans and some military security with him to the hospital. He went up to visit the twins.

"No problem." Jian replied and hung up before returning back to his work.

The headmaster of the twin's school was standing out front, pacing back and forth.

"Where are my babies? Where are they!?" A woman with long blond curls demanded almost hysterically.

"I'm sorry, but you are no longer registered as their guardian. I can't give you permission to enter." The doctor replied.

Damien walked over to where the headmaster seemed to be in an argument with a woman. "How are the children?" he asked.
