Yes. It's more military based and this operation could open up some new opportunities for me very quickly. I don't have all the details yet, but I'd be attached to the 501st infantry and involved with the 101st Airborne. *Takes a swallow of his coffee.* Plus there's some additional stuff with S.W.A.T and the military division of the GOPD. neutral

*He sighs* Because it's going mean traveling. I'm not sure yet where I will be deployed because it depends on what they want me to do exactly. I'll be gone and it may be for some extended periods of time. I don't know yet. Not until all the paperwork is processed and I get a formal assignment. They're talking to me though. They are talking to me a lot. I'll be home on leave and that sort of thing. You can also email me or write. *Takes a drink of his coffee.*

She sighed and looked down at her mug for a moment before looking up at him.
"Well, I'm kinda used to you being gone for extended amounts of time as it is." She gave him a small smile. "So.....I realize this is a fantastic opportunity for you.......I guess I'm just wondering where that leaves us then....." She glanced away for a moment and then took a sip of her coffee.

She sighed, and just went ahead and said what she was wondering.
"I guess I'm wondering what I mean to you, Justin. I mean, are we exclusive? Are we a couple? Do I refer to you as my "boyfriend?" " She used her hands to make quote marks in the air.
"Look, I know that we're still in early stages of...of...of whatever it is we have. But I need to know that I'm important to you too. I know your career means a lot to you....but I have no idea of what I mean to you."
She got up, needing to do something, and went to refill her mug with coffee. She grabbed the creamer out of the fridge and stirred some in before returning to her seat.

I think what we have or have started here has the potential to turn into something. Since we have been seeing each other again, I have been exclusive even though we have never talked about or established anything of the sort. I'd be honored if you felt the same and if you wanted to call me your "boyfriend" or however you want to define it. Kat, I'm not very good at expressing my feelings, but I can tell you this; I don't want to be with anyone else. neutral
