Once they finished with their..erm...deed, Larai kissed Daemon on one cheek, her hand gently holding the other. "I love you, Daemon." she murmured softly and sweetly.

Daemon was panting slightly, his wings half spread as he lay on top of her, giving her loving kisses down her neck, but paused to speak. "I love you too....You're too good for me, and certainly too good for my devil..."

"Too good for you? I'm an unrepentant thief who'll take any treasures she can get her hands on, including important doccuments of the higher ups and valued country treasures. If my actions have caused wars, I wouldn't be surprised in the least." Larai replied with a small smirk. She then continued, "If anything, it's you who's too good for me."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"You're still half god and willing to stay with a demon that has done so much wrong in the past; things I'm bound to repeat while my lesser half resurfaces." Daemon said with a faint smile.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Being part god doesn't exempt me from being a jerkass. In fact, there are plenty of gods who are complete and utter assholes simply because they're gods." Larai pointed out with a small chuckle. "As for repeating those wrongs...you won't. Not to the extent of the original wrongs. I'll be here for you to help you along the way. Milly will be too."

((I may or may not be getting off shortly. I'm debating about how much I want to watch a movie on tv with my mom. Not only is it a made-for-tv, SyFy channel original movie (infamous for being the ultimate snark bait with bad dialogue and even worse special effects) but it's also based on a video game, so that should mean double the horribleness and thus double the snark bait! biggrin ))

"Maybe so, but then I suppose you've still got the holy magic to make sure I stay in line. I suppose you could say that you're both my poison and my pleasure." Daemon said with a smile.

((I just had a thought. Maybe Daemon's instincts are coming out now, but the reason he's staying sane he's because he's staying so close to someone with holy magic, and Larai's godly aura, even if only partial, is helping suppress said instincts.))

"What can I say? If I'm going to be poisonous, I might as well taste good." Larai joked, her grin spreading out all the wider.

"Probably explains why I yearn for these moments of ours that much more." Daemon said nuzzling her slightly. "Whether I'm fighting my urges or not."

"I have to admit, I often look forward to these moments the most. When things get difficult, as they often do, it's nice to have this sweet escape."

"I'm glad you're getting some enjoyment out of my coping methods." Daemon joked with a slight chuckle.

"What can I say? Even despite that demonic nature in you, you're so sweet and romantic and affectionate..." Larai blushed a bit, grinning all the wider. "The point being, you're pleasant to be around - even in times like this."

"And you may be an unrepentant thief, but you certainly care about me much more than I would have expected. You're probably one of the last people I would expect to treat me so well, and that's why I love you." Daemon said giving her another kiss on the blushing apple of her cheek.

"What can I say? I'm full of surprises~" Larai chuckled, gently placing one of her hands on the back of his head afterwards. The other wrapped carefully behind his back in a one-armed hug.
