"Maybe having a family isn't filled with the thrills and adrenaline of stealing from the rich, but I promise I'll take you off on a grand crime spree around the world--both this one and others--as soon as we're able."

"I'd love that." Larai replied, kissing him lightly on the forhead after saying this. "We'll get through this family thing before long. Eighteen years is nothing compared to the centuries we've both lived."

"Exactly. And hopefully by then Kai won't hate my guts and I'll actually be on good terms with the rest of your family to the point where they'll trust me to be with you without having to be in the same city." Daemon said with a smile.

((That reminds me, I really should bring Kai back in at some point. XD For convenience sake, I'm just going to say he threw a hissy fit or something and skipped town before he could find out about Larai's pregnancy. But Angry Overprotective Brother (<>) will make a return eventually.))

{Kai should so catch them at the worst possible moment. Like when they're getting all kissy kissy in public or he should overhear them talking about the baby. It'd be hilarious. Even if not, I'm looking forward to the clingy overprotective brother bits once again. XDD}

But yes, more clingy overprotective brother means more clingy overprotective brother angry face! <> ))

"At least Van's a god, so second chances are part of his job description." Daemon said with a slight chuckle as he moved to lay next to her and snuggle close.

Larai nodded slightly in agreement. "Mhmm~"

"I love you." Daemon said softly as he moved one wing over her.

His sister was dating their family's demonic worst enemy. He had to come back more often now to keep an eye on him. Kai just didn't realize things would get this bad and was now storming down the cave. He didn't really care that he had no clue how to get to their room.

Daemon's loving smile fell away with a groan. "He's back...."

Larai sighed deeply, dissappointed that her overprotective brother just had to start peeping around again. "Should I go talk to him?" she asked with a small frown.

{Hm...wouldn't it be funny if Kai accidentally found their room all on his own?}

((His sense of direction is fueled by RAEG.))

"Depends, how long do you want him to wander lost in the caves?" Daemon said as he grudgingly sat up and reached for his clothes.

"Let's settle this before he somehow finds his way here." Larai said, soon slipping out of bed to get dressed as well. "At least he only starts getting nosey after we've slept together and not right before..."

"I wonder what the chances are of him actually ignoring my wings..." Daemon said stretching a bit.

"We'll see soon enough, I guess." Larai said with a small sigh. She hoped dearly that Kai wouldn't make a big deal about Daemon having wings. Knowing him, though, he probably would. Big time.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Dammit, Larai, can't you feel that?! This guy's leaking a dark aura, you can't try to tell me he's changed!" Kai was actually getting close to their room at this point, only because he followed Daemon's aura back to the source.
