Larai sighed deeply, now 100% sure that Kai was coming here to start drama with them once again. She looked over to Daemon with a concerned look on her face, wondering what he thought they should do.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

Daemon put a comforting arm around Larai's shoulders and gave her a kiss on the head.

"You guys really need to put some signs up or something; getting here all the time is pissing me off." Kai said standing at a fork in the caverns and looking around a bit before spotting them, promptly pointing a shocked finger at Daemon. "I knew it, a demon like him couldn't hide his true colors forever!"

 

[M3Gnificent]

"What are you talking about, Kai? It's just a kiss." Larai replied with annoyance at Kai, knowing damn well that he'd call her out on playing dumb and start with even more dramatics.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"The wings, I'm talking about the wings!" Kai said. "It's only a matter time before he snaps or something; at the very least he can't be a reliable lover!"

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Not true at all. He hasn't cheated on me even once." Larai replied, wrapping one arm around Daemon's waist as she rested her head against his shoulder. She had yet to realise it, but the look of her clothes alone were a sign that something had gone on just recently.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Yet you mean." Kai pointed out. "Like I said, if his wings are back, it's only a matter of time before he reverts back to sleeping around and killing. Plus he's within spitting distance of home, giving him more than enough opportunities to go after mom, dad, Anise, and the new egg."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"He won't do that, Kai. Unlike what your complete paranoia suggests, we are doing just fine. He isn't going to start attacking our parents or siblings any time soon, or ever for that matter." Larai replied, seeming to hold complete faith in Daemon's willpower for the moment being.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"You're sleeping with a demon Larai! What do I need to do to make you realize this is a bad idea?!"

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Tell me how he's being a bad lover when he's still staying faithful and by my side long after discovering that I'm pregnant." Larai replied, not yet realising that Van and Mala hadn't said a thing to Kai about this yet.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

((I don't know how, but this seems like it would be really interesting if Milly walked in on this. Like defending her daddy for example.))

"You got her PREGNANT?!" Kai said through gritted teeth as he grabbed Daemon by the collar of his shirt and pulled him away from Larai.

{That's actually a good idea. biggrin }

Milly slank out from the shadows and glared at Kai. "He did what he had to. Believe it or not, if he didn't try and bear(sp?) a daughter, your entire family from your mother's side - including you and your sister, would be dead the moment Daemon kicked the bucket." she pointed out, being kind enough to give the abridged version of the situation. "Before you ask why, it involves an ancestor of Marianne and Hell's Court. That should be explanation enough for you. Now back off and leave him alone unless he instigated it against you first."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I'm going to assume you enjoy living, so I suggest you remove your hands...." Daemon said tightly gripping one of Kai's wrists, the want of violence starting to surface.

"I'm surprised, why not make some whore of yours take care of the kid instead of Larai?" Kai said, ignoring Daemon's threat with a smirk. Daemon was just proving his accusations for him.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Larai wanted to intervein, to stop this fighting now, but she couldn't get herself to talk or move. She bit her lip and tensed up, fearing that the two would start fighting at any given moment now.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"You want me dead, right? You're not going to kill me, but you're certainly willing to try. I've got two reasons though to take this outside." Daemon said wrapping his wings around Kai and pulling them both into the shadows, moving them outside to continue their fight where Milly and Larai wouldn't get caught up in it.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Right before they did, but too late to stop them, Larai called out, "DAEMON! KAI! NO!" Of course, they were already outside and about to fight. She bolted through the tunnels, hoping to get to them on time. Milly, being the one to think ahead, engulfed them both in shadows and teleported them closer to the entrance - but not quite outside since she didn't want to get caught by a stray blow.
