Unfortunate or not, Kai's holy magic was easily getting rid of Daemon's dark attacks, putting him in the winning corner until he was tackled to the ground, Daemon's claw now inches from his face. "Go ahead; kill me! Prove me right and give dad a reason to seal you away in some hell prison!" he taunted with a smirk.

Daemon's hand quivered slightly before he winced and held his head in another internal battle, giving Kai an opening to push him off of him and cautiously watch in confusion.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Seeing this just as she came out, Larai ran over to Daemon. "Both of you! Please stop fighting! Right now, neither of you have no need or reason to keep this up aside from getting each other killed!"

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"First time we did this song and dance, he was willing to let me beat him half to death. Now he was ready to claw my face off, but pussied out at the last second. At this point, all I want to know is what the hell?" Kai said, not quite ready to get back up on his soap box just yet as he watched his sister comfort the demon struggling to stay sane.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Daemon, do you want to go inside?" Larai asked softly, gently and carefully reaching up to caress his cheek as she offered him a light kiss on the other. "Even if not, you need to calm yourself."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Y-Yeah...." Daemon said hanging his head slightly once he'd calmed down. Even if the fight was rather short and one-sided, both boys came out with a few scrapes and bruises.

((I just realized how stupid it is for 'bruises' to have a silent i in it. It's just silly.))

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Come on, maybe some rest and relaxation will do you some good." Larai muttured softly, almost sounding like a mother with the reassurance she gave as she walked into their cave. Before going away entirely, though, she turned to Kai to ask him of something important. "Please, Kai, don't start fights like this. Especially not now. If you're not going to listen to keep the peace, then please listen as a favor to me."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I just want to know you're going to be okay, Larai. He's acting way different than the last time I was here and I just want to make sure he's not going to be the same douche we knew before. Just tell me what's going one with him."  

[M3Gnificent]

Larai walked over and gave her brother a gentle, platonic hug, sighting deeply afterwards. Calmly and quietly, she explained things as best as she could.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I don't like our family having to rely on him and his baby, and I don't like you getting stuck in this position of....forced parenthood. But are you really sure about him? If his instincts are coming back...."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I love him, and I'll stay by his side." Larai said calmly, now crossing her arms. "As for his instincts, they'd come back full force for sure if I left him. Not that I ever would."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

Kai gave a frustrated sigh and scratched the back of his head. "If he starts losing it more often than not, please let me know. Maybe I can help beat him back into sanity."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Please don't start fighting with him." Larai said again, frowning slightly. "Thank you for your concern, though. I appreciate it."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"What do you do if he goes over the edge though? You may love him now, but it does seem to be a very real possibility that he'll go over the edge and won't come back."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I'll try and make him come back. If he pushes me from his side and shows that this is all that'll ever be, I'll go back to preforming large scale heists - just like I always do." Larai replied, looking away with an almost teary look in her eyes.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Just try not to do anything stupid for him. Well, besides having his baby...." Kai grumbled, still rather pissed about that.
