As soon as Amy heard the familiar voice, her fingers fumbled on one of the grapes. It flipped slightly in the air. She tried to catch it, but her fingers just lightly brushed underneath it, causing it to go lightly in the air again. This time, Thistle opened her mouth, reached her neck out, and caught it in her mouth. She chewed on it happily with a proud smile on her face.
Amy groaned and rubbed her forehead with her free hand. "Oh jeez... If that wasn't embarrassing... Hi Karrie."
There was a bright blush on her face, and not all of it was from the very-recent food fumble. "Thistle and I are enjoying the art. We especially liked one that looked like Velcore. Are you enjoying it?"
She looked around him and was a little surprised not to see Kits. "Where's Kits? I thought you were her escort tonight."

She giggled along with her brother-in-law as TES left to go get food. She looked at his vest and felt the material, nodding appreciatively. "Well, whatever you spent, it was well worth it. It's very well made, and looks fabulous on you too." She leaned over and whispered to him, "I'll just bet he didn't mind when you only wore the vest!"  " She took a sip of her drink and looked around at the crowd.

I am. It's nice to see her art all up, not just sitting in the closet she keeps most of it in. *nods* Usually, she only has a few pieces out at a time.
I was her escort, but I think she's found another. *having already spotted Kits and Rod, gestures toward them* She looks like she's really happy.

FireSpark Daniel raised an eyebrow and looked up at Liada. He didn't say anything, but this Fee-nix seemed to have meaning close to home. As they moved on to the next picture, Daniel finally caught sight of Jessi, taking in the art as well, leaning on the arm of another man. Daniel frowned at first, but then just turned back to the picture Liada was pointing out, his concern for the crowd forgotten. "Yeah. It is pretty nice."*Liada noticed that Daniel glanced at Jessi who seemed to be chatting with another gentleman she hadn't seen before around Geezerville. She chose not to pry since she didn't know what his connection was to her and she also felt a grumbling in her stomach* Did you want to go get something to eat. It looks like they have a table with some good eats over there.

Shadow saw someone, in fact two people look in their direction. He then observed her discomfort or adjustment to the sense of being looked at. He gently whispered, "Is there a man I should worry about being jealous of me and coming over here to claim you or something. Not to worry, I will do my best to avoid a scene." He waited to see how she would respond before deciding to share his observations.
