The Machine [Open/Accepting]

"Hmm. Let us wait until the end of the day. Then we can focus on celebrating without falling behind in things. Besides, I worry I might drink to much champagne and stumble around the building drunk. What kind of image would that give me?" Damien replied.

"True... true..." Jian replied. "So, what should we do why we wait for more news? You look like you can hardly sit still."

"I know. I know. I need to calm down and remain composed...but I can't" Damien replied. "I think I just need to get it out of my system."

"Exorcise maybe? I'm not quite sure of how else." Jian shrugged.

"Hmm. Yes, perhaps some 'exercise' will get it out of my system. I'm heading out for a little while" Damien said. "Keep me updated. I will listen to the messages when I return." The Absolute Leader then headed out of Jian's office and back to his own. After making some preparations and letting a few others know he was stepping out, Damien then headed for the helipad.

"Ok. I'll keep you posted." Jian replied with a nod. He was curious about where he was going, but he figured if Damien didn't tell him, he probably didn't really need to know.

Damien took the helicopter to one of his villas that housed a group of his many lovers. He knew of a perfect way to get all the excitement out. When he returned, he would be more calm and composed.

A couple weeks passed by and the reaction to Bishop Gilles' death was as Damien expected. A few accusations were hurled Diethelm's way, but all were denied. Damien even received a call from the Grand Priestess, but claimed ignorance of what happened. The overseas media was having a field day with the news and it was a global topic for a while.

At the same time, Damien organised a way to have the twins transported from Monica's manor to one of his private estates. There were a few stops along the way to prevent any potential spies or attacks.

Lianne was having a bit of a rough time with the fiasco. The media was panicking and the council was trying to get back much of the control they lost. Still, Lianne did feel a bit easy because of it. She was convinced Damien did it and she knew why, though she still wasn't happy about it, even if it did lighten her load of problems quite a bit.

Shadow strolled passed the Diethelm headquarters. She hadn't seen Damien in a while, but she kept hearing about him. 'Hmm... maybe I should knock on the door and see if he's home.'

Damien was speaking to a member of the investigative team who were looking into who sabotaged the twins' experiment which lead to mass injury and even death for a few people. He wanted all the information they had.
