The Machine [Open/Accepting]

"Bingo." She replied. "Though I have a couple flat rates that most find rather cheep. A hundred for a name. $500 for ten. That usually comes with their occupation and one thing they did wrong. Those are usually small fries too. $500 for miscellaneous tips. If I'm in a jam and need to get rid of someone quick, I drop my price to about a hundred. Background information and proof and other specifics vary though, especially the higher up in the ranks they are. Take the general for example. His information was worth 5,000$, but he paid me $5,500 a month to keep my mouth shut. Since I mostly deal with soldiers, the name and tip are enough to keep their jobs going smoothly, so I keep those rather cheep for their sake. I can also do match ups and so on, but price for that also varies depending on what your looking for and who I have to deal with."

"I figured as much. Well I'll have to discuss it with my superiors. I don't want to start purchasing information without their consent. I may get into trouble. For now, let's eat" Damien said. He was hungry and he wanted food.

"Sure." She replied, also cutting into her food and taking a bite. "This is good." She smiled, taking another. "How is yours?"

"It's pretty good. I'll have to make sure to come here again" 'David' said as he continued eating. He then took a sip of wine.

Shadow nodded in agreement and continued to eat. After swallowing another piece, she smiled. "So, what do you want to do after this?"

It didn't take too long for Monica to finish the report and left it at Damien's desk, heading off to go beat the obedience out of the secret police. A lot of them were just finishing their patrolling shifts and another batch was just about to leave when Monica arrived for training.

"Well I'm the one who asked you out on the date, so I think it would only be fair to go where you would like. You did mention a couple things before. Did you want to go there after our meal?" the disguised dictator asked his 'date'. It was just another way of trying to reel her in.

"Sure. Let's go to the indoor theme park on the third floor." She replied. "I've never been to one because I never wanted to go alone, and I never had anyone to go with. How does that sound to you?"

"Sure. Sounds good to me. I want to enjoy myself as much as I can before heading off to war" Damien said and continued to eat his meal. It was a pretty good restaurant. He would eat there more often if he wasn't the Absolute Leader. "Did you want desert?" he asked.

"Sounds great. Hmm... I'm not to hungry, but the cake looks nice. Want to split it?" She asked.

"Sure. Why not?" Damien stated. Once their meal was finished, Damien requested the piece of cake and the waiter went to fetch it. "Well that was a good meal" he said while wiping his mouth with a napkin.

"I agree." She replied, also wiping her mouth with the napkin while the waiter took her empty plate. A moment later, the waiter replied with a slice of cheese cake with two strawberries on top. He also left the tab on the table and turned to leave and check on other customers. "Wow. That looks good." Shadow smiled, taking off one of the strawberries and eating it. "Hey David." She said, picking up the other strawberry and putting it close to his mouth as if to feed him.

"Huh? Oh you're feeding me now, are you?" he chuckled, "this better not be spiked like those drinks you ordered". He ate the strawberry anyway. He then did the same thing with Shadow.

"Yeah. I agree." She said, blushing as she ate it. "I don't think I could take it if I got drugged like that again. To be honest, I'm glad I managed to get out when I did. Whatever that guy used managed to knock me out, even after the counters I used started to kick in. Chances are it could have put me in a coma for a few days. Nasty stuff. I hope that never happens again" She said.
