Coil stood up, the seat he pushed away fell back "we need to go" he said to Serene, he now understood what was happening, 'they' were coming, it seemed like they had grown impatient and decided to take action of their own. Coil knew that they would have every exit covered, they'd have to find some other way to exit the building. Coil could hear their footsteps coming closer, he looked to Voltedge, his eyes meeting with hers as he mentally told her to get out. He turned and headed in the direction of the footsteps, he needed to buy them time to get out.

“The people that are coming… are they that hard to kill?” Serene tilted her head a bit, following Coil with a quizzical look on her face. She heard the old door breaking, though not too worried since she knew it’s going to break sooner or later. Shades of black flew from the darker areas before shifting in shape, turning into something similar to a backsaw. Serene held it after it turned solid, the blades glistened ‘reflecting’ off light, even though it was darkness in solid state. “I know this place very well, if they aren’t that smart, it would be easy to manipulate them into leaving.” The lights on the distant shelves went out, but things could be seen moving inside the darkness. Serene’s shadow play was what people have mistaken for ghosts, they would look distorted, some inhuman, lurking on the corridors of the library. It was what she had used to drive the intruders out, and also having a bit of a laugh to their reactions. “I guess all the visible exits are surrounded isn’t it?” She hesitated for a moment, consider if it was okay to tell Coil about moving in the shadows. Serene would drag them into a shadow with her, in which it would move away, outside, to a much safer place.

VoltEdge could hear them come close. She went to Serene, hiding behind her. She was trembling as she gripped the back of Serene's clothes. She hoped the girl had a plan because VoltEdge was not very familiar still with the structure of the library and she did not know what Coil was doing. But part of her had a suspicion that he was consorting with the enemy to hand her over.
"H-Hey!!!" Chrome called out with a signal to the others and a fire-breathing Animus member breathed fire upon the building. "I guess a joint effort isn't half-bad... Unless you wanna pick another fight, you big brute!", she said, looking back to Spike.
"Hell yeah, I do!" Spike snapped.
Chrome put a hand to her forehead, expecting such a reaction. "Since when did you become such an arse?", she said to Hemo, referring to the days of the once great Super Villain Faction, before it broke up into Barbus and Animus.

Things were fairly settled for the whole of the car ride. Whatever discussion went on with the others, the clone did not much bother participating in. In fact there was a great focus in his limited actions as he drove, much like the way a house focuses on staying still. Pretty adamant, oh yes.
When they arrived, they were in a very quiet and cozy looking neighbourhood. Beyond the fancy two floor, identical houses lining the streets, were lines of trees. Armand opened his car door, but turned to his passengers before heading out.
"I'm taking miss Phoebe inside first, as a precaution. Excuse my selfish demand for a little more patience from you both," the clone spoke soothingly. His face was quite bare, serious, even if his tone of voice was light. With those words, he got out, and hurried to Phoebe's side of the vehicle to await her.
The lady was led to the door where they were greeted, as the girl's brother had been, by another clone with a gun held at point. The weapon was lowered, they were allowed in, and the door closed. When that was out of the way, the clones stepped back to let the Kyle siblings meet. It was their duty, now accomplished. Armand, who had driven, stood to guard the door on the inside while the other clone went off to the kitchen to brew tea. The safe house would be quite a comfy temporary home for them, as much as they could make it. As much as Mason could stop disturbing them.
The peace of the entire scene was disturbed by a shrill cry on the street. A woman had just passed Armand's car, before being set on by a man in a hooded top, and was, somewhat funnily, trying to pull her purse away from her while she held to it for dear life. Neither gave way, but help was needed as the man freed a hand to reveal a knife. The woman wore long flowing red hair, and a straw hat, with a simple white blouse and beige trouser set up, and was shouting for help.[[I understand Ayame, yes Ayame, thank you Ayame -deepbows-]]

Coil hid by a pillar waiting for the first wave of soldiers to enter, he looked to Serene once she entered "I'm not sure if they'll be hard to kill...but they are very resourceful..." He said, knowing that they would be prepared to stop him from attacking them. He couldn't think of any possible way to get out of the library unseen, and he could only consider making them leave "Serene...what do you have in mind?" He asked, wondering if she had a way to scare them away.

Danica immediately tugged her hood a little lower on her face and slipped out of the back of the car. She put up a hard light wall between the would-be mugger and his intended victim, separating his hand from her purse. The woman stumbled at the sudden release, and Danica moved to catch her before she could fall, but the woman looked at her in terror, like she was going to hurt her, and Danica sighed. "I was just making sure you didn't fall, ma'am," she said softly.

Serene turned to VoltEdge, smiling at her. “Don’t worry, I’ve lived here long enough, I know how to control shadows in this place far better than the others.” She pointed into the shadows to let Coil and VoltEdge watch. Something could be seen moving in the darkness, noises made from solidifying some parts of the shadow made it seems like something really was moving in the darkness, even though it was only Serene’s shadow play. “I would prefer cutting their heads off, but I’m with you and VoltEdge, so both of your safety comes first.” She made the lights flicker, adding more to the confusion, hopefully this will make the intruders leave or delay their arrival. “Many secret exits here, but we can’t go anywhere like this. I’ll drag you into the shadows with me, b-but I’m not sure what will be the consequences.” As she was speaking, a platform of darkness formed on her feet, and then she began to sink into it. The shadows took her in slowly almost like quicksand, despite the name; a quicksand is not known to be quick. The shadow began to expand, moving in the direction of the two, Serene held out her hand. “Well… Are you going to try this?”

[Actually I believe from having seen fire departments before, that the buildings are often made of brick, etc, and thus wouldnt burn well on the outside. Except with special measures; even rock can melt if you get it hot enough ^.^]]

"You do realize it's going to be a while right?" Hemo called over to the Animus members and sighed. They were a persistent bunch, but then again so was Barbus. Hemo made a cut on his finger and began drawing enough blood for an attack. Carefully aiming, he whipped a blood-spike at the flame-spewing meta, hoping to jam it down the back of the man's throat.

omgIisonfiyah "Maybe, some people like to call me an annoying man-whore." Ace said and shrugged, he doubted it was from anything he did when dressed up as Slipspace, after all, he liked to stay away from cameras, even if that sexy beast Ace Chrome was around them like all the time.
"Ugh, please do not pull the dumb idiot idea again.."
However, Melody had made up her mind. She put her finger on her chin, and looked over at him. "Man-whore? What's a man-whore, and I don't think you are that annoying. Although, I don't know you that well, but I mean I'm probably more annoying. Hi." Melody said, smiling.
"God, where are you going with this?"

Without hesitation, VoltEdge accepted Serene's hand, going into the shadow as well. She was a little frightened but not as much as she was from the soldiers searching the library. She could feel that they were growing close. Rubber. This was why neither she nor Coil could incapacitate them and it would be a waste of time to try.
"I thought you guys poured gas on the place alrea-", Chrome stopped mid-sentence and tackled the fire meta, seeing as Hemo was about to put an end to him. "You want a fight?! We'll give you a fight!", she yelled and everyone went into battle mode.
Right when Chrome had said that, Spike threw a spike at her, causing her to dodge and raise a fist at the annoying man.
