Mala then went on to explain the situation with Larai and Daemon, from their dissapproval to their relationship and how Daemon knocked her up to the fact that he's barely holding back his demonic self these days. Once she was finished she said, "We're really worried about her."

"That demon's still alive?!" Jaquel said in shock and disgust. "I thought Van got rid of him??"

 

[M3Gnificent]

"We thought so too. Slippery little b*****d isn't he?" Mala replied with a heavy sigh.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I should pay them a visit as well then...." Jaquel said, one hand gripping the hilt of the sword resting at his side. Part out of knightly habit, part being ready to protect his wife, he always kept one with him.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Be careful." Mala said with a small smile, sure that Jaquel could easilly handle Daemon.

Ariae sighed deeply. You could take the knight out of the order, but you could never take the order out of a knight. She didn't want Jaquel fighting, if they could avoid it, and would most likely accompany him regardless of whether he liked it or not to go see Daemon.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Er, just where is Larai these days....?" Jaquel asked, realizing he had no idea where Larai and Daemon were hiding out.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"She's been living in a hidden cave out in the forest. You'll probably feel his dark aura as you go along, which'll make it not too hard to follow him."

Larai was casually laying back in bed, as she often did these days, gazing up at the ceiling that was lit ever so brightly by the many magical crystals. within these caverns.

"Ah, thanks." Jaquel said before promptly turning and leaving the house to go daemon hunting.

"Seems like your baby sibling is going to be nice and healthy; Larai and I felt it kicking earlier today." Daemon said to Milly as he stood in the entrance to her room after cleaning up the kitchen from lunch.

{Daemon is both Daemon's name and a term for 'demon', but used instead of demon so it's not directly associated with a religion. biggrin Or at least, I think it is. Anyway, nice pun. XD}

Ariae curtsied in farewell to Van and Mala as she stood up, going on to follow Jaquel out. It wasn't long before she was by his side once more, saying, "Jaquel, please be careful. I don't want that...thing possessing you again."

Milly smiled, looking up at Daemon once more. "That's good to hear, daddy. Let's hope things stay so well."

"Careful, you'll jinx us." Daemon said with a chuckle.

"Don't worry, I will." Jaquel assured her as they headed for the cave, hand firmly on his sword. "Besides, if he's got a body of his own now, he certainly shouldn't need mine."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"So, do you two have any names in mind?" Milly asked.

"Not until you destroy his, anyway." Arias replied, not doubting that Jaquel planned on ending Daemon once and for all.

((And how 'bout that Ninja Baseball Player? biggrin ))

"Not yet, although I can't speak for Larai." Daemon admitted.

"If I had any skills in enchantments, I might turn this into a holy sword." Jaquel said drawing his sword and examining the blade. "I'm sure that would put an end to the demon."

"Good luck with it." Milly chuckled. "I hear names are the hardest part aside from the actual birth itself."

"I often forget that you've had first hand experience on the subject." Daemon said with a slight sigh. It was sometimes hard to believe that the little Milly before him actually gave birth to him once upon a time. A sudden look of confused worry crossed his face suddenly. There was a holy presence in the caves, but it didn't belong to someone with a god's blood.

"I'd go see what's up with your bride, if I were you. If anything, these strangers are probably related to her somehow and want her back." Milly spoke, reccognising the holy aura that entered their caves. It was pseudo-unwilling-dad, Jaquel. Not like she wanted to mention that, though.
