"I can't imagine who else would be trying to break us up though." Daemon said as he went to check on Larai. "Larai, there's someone in the caves again, although I don't think it's anyone we know."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Should I go talk to them?" Larai asked, sitting up and looking concerned.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I know they're some sort of holy people, so you probably should. Seeing a demon might provoke them."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Alright. Be ready to get me out of the fray, though, if they attack." Larai spoke, offering Daemon a light kiss after she got up before heading on towards the entrance to investigate.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"They'd have to be monsters to attack a beautiful lady such as yourself." Daemon said with a smile after returning the kiss and seeing her off.

Jaquel slowly made his way through the cave, guard up and blade drawn, eyes darting around the dim cave knowing the demon could be hiding in any shadow.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Larai soon approached Jaquel warilly, relaxing once she saw that it was just Jaquel. "Mister Galandria! What are you of all people doing here?" she asked with a chuckle.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I know Mala said you were pregnant, but I didn't realize we were this late to the party." Jaquel said looking at her bulge with wide eyes as he sheathed his sword for the moment.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Larai laughed. "Really? Please don't tell me mom and dad sent you hear to attempt another breakup scenario."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

Jaquel sighed. It was worse than he thought. Poor, sweet Larai was already under the demon's spell. "This is a demon we're talking about. He's probably just waiting to find some other poor soul to possess like he did me. He can't be trusted!"

 

[M3Gnificent]

"One's species doesn't mean a thing, if you know how to behave yourself. I've seen just as many a wicked demon as well as a noble one. It just depends on time, circumstance, and influence." Larai replied with a small frown. "Please don't go in there and start fighting him. He's trying to be a good person, he really is, but people starting fights with him makes it incredibly difficult to fight aside instinct. Thankfully, he won't turn so long as I remain near."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"You'll have to forgive me if I find that rather hard to believe." Jaquel said stubbornly. "The only side I've seen of that wretched demon is what I remember him using my body for. I'm surprised the lecherous swine isn't off playing with a harem somewhere." he sneered.

((Acceptable grudge, or just being racist? YOU decide!))

{Perhaps a little bit of both?}

"He's certainly not slept with any woman aside from myself while we've been together. Even before that, after getting his new body, I doubt he's had many others - if any at all - with how tight a leash Milly kept him on." Larai replied with an annoyed pout, hands on her hips.

((That was a joke, but okay. xd ))

"I doubt that. In all my years of being a knight, not once have I seen one of those devils have a change of heart."

{I could tell. I lol'd. Curse my tendency to answer things seriously! D:}

"In all my years of being a thief, I've seen lawmen turn coat plenty of times. Especially in the presence of a beautiful woman, promotion, or possible humiliation."

"There's a difference between lawmen and demons. Demons thrive on sins while lawmen are only human." Jaquel pointed out.
