The jukebox in the corner clicked as one song ended; JJ gave an involuntary jump as Strauss' Overture to Die Fledermaus bombastically began to play from the speakers. He sighed as he set his glass down, chuckling at himself for jumping. "Ah, I love waltzes; can't actually waltz myself, though."

I know what you mean, give me an Irish jig, or most other modern dances these days but ballroom dancing is a whole other story for me. I never bothered to learn during my service under Mabb and she was all about the formal dances, thankfully I had my duties to use an excuse to ever participate. sweatdrop

Psyzapp *Grins at her beloved and then remembers she has important info to tell him.* OH before I forget to tell you. We have a rehearsal scheduled at the Cathedral on Tuesday night. We'll just run through the order of things briefly so everyone knows what to do and then have dinner at Chatty Kathy's. You CAN get off work for that, riiiiiight?  *He pulls her into his arms and places his lips upon hers in a longing kiss.* Hmm, my vacation officially starts right now and I don't have to go back until April 4th. And before I forget, Showcase is hosting my Bachelor party and we're headed to Vegas ... tomorrow night. sweatdrop

"I've heard tell of her through Eris; she's a very powerful being, on par with upper-level deities like Eris herself, Zeus, and others." He paused thoughtfully. "Though, Eris does like to downplay things that are better than her quite a bit, so I'm sure the queen is even stronger than My Lady of Discord."

*She couldn't help but giggle as JJ spun the way he did.* I wouldn't doubt it. But I know there are beings far stronger than my Queen. Its been ages since I've seen her last but since she is slowly acquainting herself with human technology little by little she and I have been keeping in contact via emails. I may have heard of your deity before in the Seelie or Unseelie court but I would have to look into my books on that. I've been to so many different universes that its hard to keep track of gods and what not. *she took another slow sip of her wine, her cheeks tinting from the affects of it*

"I had the opportunity once, but it would have been to one that was still on our time axis, so any time passed here would have equaled time passed there. I didn't want to gamble on getting stuck there." He took a sip, enjoying the conversation.

Well while I was under Mabb's service she would have me run all sorts of errands. One of which once it came to her attention that there were other forces outside the fae such as the Greek pantheon and even alternate universes, she would have me scout them out and decide whether they were a threat to our kind or if we could form alliances. Granted she could only send me to certain alternate universes related to ours but once humans started to gain ability of technology and invention I was able to learn more of space travel.

He downed the last of his wine, setting the glass back onto the bar. "She once told me he was only sitting on the throne because she didn't want to be involved with all the bureaucratic handling of mortals, and just be free to be flighty."

Well I wasn't the only one doing the scouting. Mabb had 3 other generals that she had doing the scouting errands on and I know your Lady Eris wasn't on mine at the time. But since we didn't have too many wars or battles on our hands I can only assume that it went well. *She downed the last her her glass. Her cheeks more red than just a tint now.* I can understand not wanting to be any part of mortals doings though. Mabb only wished to deal with humans if need be, otherwise she would keep to her own business of teaching those with talents and use to the court.

"It was a lot of fun chatting with you, Liada; and like I said, if you need help on the house, don't hesitate to call me." He straightened up. "Do you need someone to escort you home, or will you be fine on your own?"
