"We're not making a bet out of this if that's what you're insinuating. Because it sounds like you're suggesting a bet." Jaquel said suspiciously.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"It's not a bet. Not unless you have something to wager. No, this is simply one of us proving who is right and who is wrong. Whoever is right gets to decide the proper course of action, while whoever is wrong shuts up and deals with it."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

Jaquel looked back at Ariae. "We should, if only to keep that demon in line."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Yes, we should." Ariae replied, somewhat amused by the fact that they didn't seem to realise that a bet by any other name is still a bet.

((Two people couldn't come, so there was no DnD today. v.v We wound up playing Arkham Horror for a while, and did have a few humorous moments though. biggrin ))

"Alright, fine. We'll find a room in town for a while, but one wrong move and that demon's head is mine."

{Sorry 'bout the DnD. D: Hope you had fun with Arkham Horror, at least. ^.^ Ooooh, what are the funny moments? biggrin }

((Well, our usual DM beat an alien color from space to death with his bare hands. I repeat, beat a color to death. Bare hands. And then when the Eldritch horror awakened, I imagined my college professor character standing on the front lines riddling the thing with tommy gun bullets while screaming "TASTE THE POWER OF KNOWLEDGE, b***h!!"))

"It's not a difficult thing for a demon to do wrong. The fiend shall taste my blade yet." Jaquel said before turning to leave the cave.

{That's kick a**. XDD}

"We'll just see about that, won't we?" Larai smiled and turned around, heading back into the caves once more to tell Daemon of the situation.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Ah, right, I'd forgotten about that angel...." Daemon said with a slight sigh as he poked his head up from Larai's shadow. In case their visitors turned out to be trouble, he'd been watching from the shadows the entire time.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I'm sorry I couldn't calm him down completely, although I hope this'll do for the moment." Larai spoke with a soft frown, kneeling down so she'd be closer to the shadow.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"It's alright, I did take away a good portion of his life after all, he's allowed to hold a grudge...." Daemon said looking away for a moment in thought before smiling back at Larai as he rose up to leave her shadow. "But the whole world could hate me and I'd be okay, so long as I had you."

 

[M3Gnificent]

Larai smiled a large and very warm smile. "You're so sweet, you know that?"

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I need to give you some reason to stick around, don't I? Besides the great sex, of course." Daemon joked with a chuckle.
