"As for this, well, like I said, some ruffians decided I was easy pickings. Understandable, because they were all mages themselves. That said, I was still able to teach them a thing or two." He smiled weakly before resting his head back on the bar. "But enough about that; I'll be fine in the morning. Though, I do appreciate the vial." He tossed her another smile. "So don't worry, okay?"

*Liada's ears drooped slightly still not convinced since he did look really tired. But decided to take his word work it.* Alright...if you insist. Just be more careful okay? The last thing I need is to have you escort me to the big event in a body cast on thursday. I'm really excited about that btw. Anira's making a special dress for me . *She takes his hand and gives it a gentle squeeze before she grabs her dew on the bar counter and opens a portal* I'm sorry to cut this short but I'll be running late. See you thursday. 4laugh *she gives one last wave to JJ before hopping in the portal.*

J.J. Kooms "Life wouldn't be worth it without fine drink and fine food." JJ waved as she disappeared into the portal, lightly sighing as he relaxed the last of his muscles as he leaned upon the counter. He was actually more tired than he was injured; a twelve-hour flight to England, followed by a two-hour dinner, then another twelve-hour flight back after a fight; he was done. Plus, he wasn't entirely sure whether the haunt in his room had been cleared up yet; for the time being, he wasn't going to touch it.

Kat had left the office shortly after she was sure Antonio had left and wouldn't try sneaking back in. She worked down in her quarters and after awhile decided to head up to the bar before heading out to Upper GGG.
She grabbed her purse and dropped her phone in it, locked up and made her way upstairs. Once she entered the bar, she saw someone leaning on the counter. A bit concerned, she made her way closer and saw it was JJ.
"JJ! Are you okay?" She walked over to him and put her hand on his shoulder.

"Just got into a bit of a tussle in London earlier, nothing serious." He tapped his cheek. "Just a bruise; Lia gave me some... thing for it." He nodded towards the vial on the counter. "You don't mind if I chill here for a bit before going home, do you? It seems like you're going out."

She looked at the vial on the bar. "Is that one of Liada's potions? They work remarkably well. I'm sure whatever it is will make you feel much better sooner."
She went around the bar and went about making a pomegranate Cosmo. She looked over and smiled at JJ. "Well, I guess you could say I'm going out. The rehearsal is tonight, but it's not for another hour or so. I have to wait on Leko anyways."
She took her drink and had a seat near JJ. "And I have no problem with you hanging out, just make sure you don't sleep overnight here. Hate to bust you on breaking one of the house rules. wink "

She sipped her drink and chuckled, "Well, I guess we could cover you in Velcro and the darts could stick to you that way.  " She looked back down at JJ, "You know, you might start feeling better quicker if you'd just try that potion of Liada's. I promise you it will do nothing funky nor will it make you pass out or anything. Her potions help speed the healing process."

He gently unstoppered the bottle, and tipped a little bit of th bluish fluid into his mouth. Then, he re-stoppered th bottle, setting it back down on the counter. "Wait... She never mentioned how to take this... What if it was topical?"

She giggled, "Her liquid potions are to be ingested, however, she does have topical creams that work rather well too. I have both kinds for stress. However, the um, liquid version of the stress potion has some um, shall we say, interesting side effects? redface "
She blushed slightly when she remembered the shared dream she and Justin had had early Monday morning. She smiled and sipped her drink.

He unwrapped his left hand, flexing the fingers. Thankfully, Lia and Kat had not seen the sorry state it had been in when he first walked into the bar; one of the Brits he had fount with was a fire Mage, and it would be safe to say that JJ's hand was charcoal at one point.

She finished her drink and went to rinse her glass. She set it aside and then looked back to JJ.
"Well, I guess I have to go retrieve Leko from her quarters. Feel free to stay as long as you want, JJ. Talk to you later."
She waved as she left the bar and went back into the office to go get Leko so they could get on their way to Upper GGG for the rehearsal.

The rather terrible pain that had been plaguing him from earlier seemed to be gone as well, leaving him with naught but his old hand again. I'll need to ask Lia for this in bulk, he thought, idly swirling the crystal bottle around in his hand.
