"Thank goodness I'm here then~ I'll give you all the stroking you need~" Larai purred. After a moment she realised how wrong it sounded, and with a feverish blush she exclaimed, "Ego stroking! ...I..uhm...yougetwhatImean!"

"Frankly, I don't care what kind of stroking I get, so long as it comes from you." Daemon said with a laugh. "You're adorable when you blush, you know that?" he said giving her a kiss on the cheek.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Larai blushed all the more and averted her gaze, mumbling softly, "Thank you, bu-but it's kind of embarassing to hear that..."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Sorry, didn't mean to embarrass you." Daemon said gently stroking her hair a few times. "I didn't think I'd make you blush that much, especially with no one else around."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"D-don't be. I'm just kind of..kind of wierd." Larai laughed nervously. She suspected that she might be having minor mood swings or something.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Not to me you aren't." Daemon said as he gave her a kiss on the head. "Either that it's those pesky pregnancy hormones of yours." he said with a smile as he placed a hand on her tummy.

"Maybe that's just it." Larai chuckled, offering him a weak smile as she placed a hand over his.

"I hope our child doesn't have the same problem I do right now." Daemon said frowning in thought.

"They shouldn't." Larai replied with a soft frown forming upon her lips. "You said my aura is keeping you sane, right? The child, if probability means a damn thing, will probably get both your powers and my aura."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Your powers too, I'm sure. Although I suppose the blood of a good would be a little more distilled by this point...." Daemon mused. "Well, demon god or not, they'll still be our baby."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Yes they will." Larai said in a matter-of-factly tone, nuzzeling Daemon slightly now.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"And I'm sure you'll be a wonderful mother." Daemon said giving her a kiss on the head as they snuggled.

"We'll be great if we work together." Larai replied, returning his kiss.

That was when a thought struck him. She was carrying his child, four months in, and they weren't even married. That would definitely have to be remedied at some point, but it would be problematic to go ring shopping as he couldn't stray too far from her.

Larai noticed the odd look on Daemon's face, and couldn't help but feel at least a little puzzled. "What's on your mind?" she asked.
