Milly was overcome with joy as she layed back in her bed. She could hardly believe it. Her father really had changed! Maybe that woman wasn't so useless after all!

The next morning, Daemon was up early making breakfast. If he tried to slip away while Larai was asleep, she'd just get freaked out and think he went another rampage.

Larai soon woke up as Daemon was cooking breakfast. She sat herself up and stretched, all while letting out a loud yawn. Afterwards she rubbed her eyes and then looked around. Hearing sizzling coming from the kitchen and smelling delicious breakfast foods cooking, she got herself up to go investigate.

Daemon was humming a random tune as cooked, now getting better at the task and only needing the occasional glance at the cook book from how many times he did the cooking for everyone.

Larai grinned and sat herself quietly at the dining table, waiting patiently for Daemon to finish and to notice her.

((PATRIARCHY!! ))

"Oh! Good morning!" Daemon said with a bright smile when he turned to see Larai there. He'd just plated everything and was in the process of carrying things to the table. "I was going to bring you breakfast in bed, but I guess I need to start cooking even earlier to pull that off." Now there was a proposal idea....Every little bit of inspiration helped after all.

{If I wasn't buying any of that bullshit before, which I wasn't, I'm certainly not now. I barely tolerate the color pink most of the time! Why the ******** do they color something pink and expect me to like it better?! Sexist ******** bastards...}

Larai chuckled. "Shall I pretend to sleep late next time just for that pleasure? Or shall I go back to bed now and forget I ever got up?" she asked in a half-joking manner, standing up to offer Daemon a kiss on the cheek.

"Oh, I'll get you next time." Daemon said returning the kiss. "I'll go see if Milly's up for breakfast yet." he said peeking into Milly's room and knocking on the wall. "Milly? Breakfast's ready." he said softly.

Milly was still happilly slumbering, having stayed up quite a while dwelling on her joy and disbelief at Daemon's decisions.

"Milly?" Daemon said a little louder as he walked over to her bedside. "Time to wake up, breakfast's ready." he said placing a gently hand on her shoulder and shaking her ever so slightly.

Milly groaned softly, sitting up as she woke up. "Mmkay..." she muttured, lazilly slipping out of bed to go to the kitchen and eat.

"And good morning to you too." Daemon said with a small chuckle as he gave her a kiss on the head as she walked by before following to the kitchen.

Milly slipped up in her chair at the dining table, clearly looking like she was still half asleep.

"Are you feeling okay? You look like you didn't get enough sleep last night." Daemon said putting a hand to her forehead to check for a fever as he sat down between the girls as he always did.

"I...I'm fine. Just got caught up reading a book." Milly lied with a small smile.
