Ibara's clone watched as a woman walked through the front gate hidden in the shadows of the gate. He didn't need to be hidden the clone just found it fun to be sneaky. Once she was out of sight he leaped down from the perch he was on and began to patrol again while the ANBU and Guards returned to their guard posts.

The clone turned his head quickly and a rapid crack crack crack sounded. The clone groaned slightly and continued to walk. This was boring there wasn't much to see or report, just the one entry that seemed to check out. Ibara hadn't been close enough to the gate to respond personally so it was fine.

The clone dashed down the wall surrounding Konoha dodging and weaving through the guards posted on the wall. constantly surveying the area with his sensory type abilites. The only chakra about were of bugs and small animals that scurried about in the dense forest around the village.

The clone paused as he reached the end of the wall, the part that connected to the sheer cliff which adorned the Hokage monument. 'There is nothing here Ibara.' The clone closed his eyes and waited for a reply. From an outsider it would've looked strange as the clone talked to itself. 'Want to call it for now?' still had its eyes closed seeming to listen to nothing. 'Okay, on my way back now then.' The clone snapped off some rapid hand seals then vanished.

Upon arriving at the gates she showed her papers to the guards and left the village. Sighing very softly she realized that now was the time to start planning things. Where she would be safe at, when should she start to uncover her past, when should she come back to confront her father, when would the village think her a traitor. In all reality she wasn't a traitor. She was far from it but she was just given a crappy hand and a jounin wanted to try and turn her in. She couldn't allow that before she found out why her past was being hidden from her. So sighing softly she left the village before anyone could stop her unsure of where she was going to go.

Having arrived a the gates with his shadow clone Ibara ran to the nearest guard at the gate. "Which way did the person who just left head? Down the path?" Wanting to be informed before Luciano got here he began asking questions. After a short conversation with the guard Ibara was told that the young genin was headed toward the river and that was all they knew. Ibara nodded to the guard. "Thank you." the guard returned the nod and also returned to his post. Ibara never teamed with an Aburme before, it should be interesting. He was a Yamanaka they were usually teamed with Nara and Akamichi clans. Ibara shrugged he was sure it would be fine. Aburme are supposed to be great at tracking, which made his job the information extraction. Ibara shrugged and waited impatiently for the Aburame to make his way to the gate.

Finally Arriving at the gates, Luciano saw the Yamanaka standing impatiently. Luciano didnt blame him, he kinda did take long, but now he was eager to began the mission. With his hands in his pockets as always, Luciano approached the Yamanaka. Taking his hands out his pockets as well as two scrolls, One was the pass to exit the village and the other was the missions that they had to carry out. "Ready to get things started Yamanaka, and im Luciano by the way".

Ibara raised his hand in a half wave half stop kind of gesture. "Name's Ibara." Taking the two scrolls that Luciano had offered, and Ibara knew were coming he turned and showed his pass to the guard at the gate. The guard inspected them closely then nodded. "Seems everything is in order." said the guard after a few moments. The guard turned and walked away shouting over his shoulder as he walked. "Good luck you two." Turning back to Luciano. "I'll extend my telepathy to you in a bit, but now we've got to get going." Ibara then strolled out the gate, leaving his clone behind at the gate. Then began to trot before breaking into a full out run knowing Luciano would be right behind him.

Jurei entered the gates and took his usual lookout spot. As he sighed he began to recall his brief skirmish with his little brother. It seemed unnerving that he had something against Jurei, but it mattered little now.

He had come quite a long way since they were small children playing and training in the forests of their homeland. Perhaps visiting would be a wise idea in the future.

He continued to dwell in personal thought as he helped the ANBU keep watch over the forest beyond the gate and anything else that might threaten Konoha. He couldn't help but feel that something big was on the horizon.

With the recent capture of the Kyuubi and the threat of a foreign organization he began to ponder. If he was going to live up to his fathers legacy, he would need to become stronger. After tidying up a few more things he bid the ANBU adeu, the Hokage was next on his list of people to see.

Luckily the clone that was left at the gate to watch people enter and leave the village was still listening to the telepathic conversations between his Original and the others he connected to telepathically. A lot had gone on and it was intriguing. A large chakra that mysteriously vanished? The rogue spotted then lost? What was going on out there. The clone supposed he could ask his original but it seemed he was rather busy instead he decided to venture into the town to look for a genjutsu expert himself and ask for aid personally. It seemed that although the Hokage had sent an ANBU to assist Luciano and Ibara, they still weren't a full squad, and the large chakra and now men in space suits seemed rather dicey, so Ibara's clone went off in search of assistance.

It had been a long few days while out on the mission Ibara barely reached the gates of Konoha exhausted but pleased with the way things had gone. As he apporached the gate he held up the papers required for entry. Two of the guards came forward and inspected them closely. "Ah, yes. Welcome back Ibara-kun." Ibara nodded drearily at the guards and walked passed them sure the others would follow closely behind. At the moment Ibara really wanted to study, but he could also use a sleep. Before he would do either of those things he had to report to the Hokage about the mission, it was something he was slightly worried about but in the end it was all relative wasn't it? The Hokage requested the return, they weren't returning of their own free will. Ibara sighed and released the telepathy with the other two squadmates and burried himself in thought as he walked down the street that lead to and from the gate. Ibara plodded his way through the village toward the Hokage's office.

Shiorei arrived at his final destination on his mission. The great lumbering gates of Konohagakure. The start or end point of many. Its standing gate was was a symbol of hope for those who look at them from the inside where as despair for those who wish to invade.

The road before the gate had many trees and so the the wild winds blew leaves all about the gate making this one of the bigger jobs he had to do. He cut the air with his poker and drew a bag from his side and began to stab the leaves and depositing them into a bag. He kicked the pile up and stabbed at the falling leaves. He was trying to finish up as quickly as his body and the forces of nature would allow.

The gates were clean once more, though as he tied up the last of the bags he knew that soon enough the trees would shed their leaves once more and fall upon the gate, but that would be someone else's problem and not his. His mission was complete. He stabbed his poker into the earth. A marker of his accomplishment.

With this mission done his next stop was to claim some just reward. He had much to do to catch up to his goody-two-shoes of a brother in reputation. He had almost a skip in his step to get going to the claims office. A tedious job done.

Completed: D-Rank Mission: Village Hidden Under Leaves

 

[Yo-ko]

The konoha gates would be business as usual. The crispness and beautiful cloudless sky was a wonder to the world, a final show of peace and tranquility after a lasting, devastating brutal attack. Sometimes it was the small tings that allowed people to continue living.

A light breeze would fan the trees, scattering falling leaves to dance in the wind, a possible omen of things to come. Without warning and without mercy, seemingly descending from a high altitude, 3 gliders would appear in the airspace of the gate. The larger Wyvern craft would fire two of its forearm sized kunai at the gate structure, forming an S ranked maelstrom of Fire and wind that would decimate a 40m area unless inhibited or defended.

The smaller Harpy craft would move at a much faster speed, launching a set of forearm sized kunai for the Konoha academy, Yet staying just to the side of the largest craft.

The largest craft would glid its way through the gates, aiming to continue into the airspace of the Hidden Village.

In a seizing, blitzing display of technology, authority, and power, the griping haunting truth would be realized: The UHV was back...and this time they brought help...
