People who have "." in their names cannot talk in Towns. You don't have a period in your name, but perhaps there is some other hidden character?

Are there any sorts of setup items i should get to help me through gaia?
Like a fishing pole or something? Some basic necessities?

If you want to go fishing you can do that through the games page, but you should already have a fishing pole in your inventory. You may have to buy bait from the bait shop, but when you go to fish it will walk you through that. Pretty much every area of Gaia should be a way for you to make gold or win items. Playing the games like word bump or jigsaw will earn you a lot of gold and even a few items.

Okay, this is a money managment question...
I have enough money now to buy an item that i'v wanted for awhile, a blue gas mask, and i'm wondering if i should buy it since after i do, i'll be broke again...
What should i do?

They want to make sure people read the rules, so they tell them to perform a certain action in the application post - in your example, include a keyword. People can pick any keyword they want. It rarely has any significance on its own.

Please help crying They come out occasionally in announcements or in special events such as Easter. Just read the announcements you get and you'll be informed.
