Jasmine Acacia walked out onto the Quidditch Pitch for the first time in almost five years. She had been on other ones in that time. Ones around the world really, but none of them ever felt the same as the one at Hogwarts. It was the one that the girl had started on. And now, a new path was about to open for her on this pitch. The path of being a referee. She only wished that this game had taken place while she was at Hogwarts. It was a professor versus student match.

But that wasn't the only game going on that had attracted the living triplet to Hogwarts. She had to have a good reason to be back at the place where her brother killed her sister. Quidditch just wasn't a good enough reason. However, she had also heard that her sister was having a scavenger hunt, something that interested Jasmine quite a bit. Perhaps at some point she would have to go visit her sister, and maybe even Zane, or Phantom as he was now known.

She knew that would all have to wait. After all, she had volunteered to referee this match and that was what was important right now. Jasmine just hoped that the players would show up soon. She didn't like to wait around much.

Christina didn't know what to expect as she stepped onto the field, one of the old school brooms in her hand. She hadn't played Quidditch since a year before she graduated from Salem. And, back at Salem she had always played as a seeker, though, she never felt she was actually all that good at being seeker specifically, she could fly decently, dodge a few bludgers, and if she got hit she could take it fairly well. She had just braided her hair back settling on a dirty-blonde to light brown color, keeping things simple. She figured either the professors would do fairly well in this game or spectacularly poorly. Then again, all the professors had at least some quidditch experience so maybe even for those who didn't play some of the information stuck with them.

Stretching as she walked onto the field she noted Professor Goldwind and nodded politely and said with a nod of her head, "Good mornin', sir."

The keeper walked onto the pitch, not being on the pitch for quite awhile. He also didn't know if he would play rusty or not, but he did break in his new broom the day before. Hopefully it would work well enough to play. He instantly got onto the broom and started flying around a bit, performing some brief, less straining exercises just to get loose.

Landon was super happy to be back on the pitch. Aside from his teaching career he hardly saw the field. Watching the games sure but he hadn't been part of one in a while. Though he hadn't taught the majority of the students who were playing he couldn't lose to them. Not that he would mind regardless. After all he was pretty sure the whole school would be rooting for the students anyway.

Walking onto the field Landon had his broom in his hand ready to play. He already knew who was on his team and was excited to be playing with them. Heading over to the small group of facility Landon gave a nod as he spoke. "Morning team."

David rushed to the field ready for the big game. This wasn't a normal Quidditch game. No, this was a game against students and professors. He was the team seeker and it was his job to beat the seeker of the other team. Who was that... the referee. He knew the odds were against them so there wasn't much pressure to actually win. Though it would certainly be a fun experience something he could use if he decided to play professionally.

Looking around the pitch David saw both flying professors, the healing professor he heard so much about, and his charms professor. There was also another girl there but she looked older so she couldn't have been a student and she wasn't a professor either. David ultimately figured she was the ref for the game. Made sense since the usual one was after all playing.

"Morning professors." He said holding his broom in his hand full of anticipation.

To say that Pandora was nervous was an understatement. She had decided to play because her house wanted her to. She was doing this for them. It had been many years since she had stepped onto the Quidditch Pitch as a player, and the professor didn't think her gear would fit. Luckily it did. Her students needed her. She couldn't spend too much time in the Hospital Wing. "Good morning everyone," the woman smiled. All she could do was put on a happy face.

A content smile had laced his thin lips, the excitement bubbled in the air on liquid courage. He could feel it in his bones. He had every reason to believe that they, as students, would in fact, win. After all, they're young, capable, agile, and have had the training, the practices, the constant games to keep them sharp and ready. Whereas, the professors were much older, and most of them probably hadn't picked up a broom to actually play a game in years! Probably even longer than he'd been alive! Well... maybe. Either way! He was confident in their team's victory, so much so, that he even participated in a little betting pool in the Slytherin commons.

Elsie was pumped. She usually wasn't one to get overly excited about things, not since she was a little girl who didn't know when or how to stop talking or smiling incessantly... but she was really looking forward to this. It was new, and different. They'd be playing against professors, not other students, and the team she was on was very mixed. It was all ages, all houses... She could go but instead she just shifted from one foot to the other eagerly, gripping her broom. Soon they'd start and she'd be up in the air and playing. She was a bundle of happy nerves right now.

The young boy was very giddy to get this game started. The beater for Ravenclaw was undoubtedly the youngest kid on the student's side, but he thought that he could undoubtedly keep up with the much older, much more experienced professors and students. He had some talent...at least...he thought he did. He had been playing since his first year after all, and he has shown some flashes of greatness, but he didn't know if he was ready. He had to be confident...after all, he did have Drage as his teammate, who was exceedingly good at the game and very experienced. He's also a good enough mentor for a game. One thing that he did remember was Drage saving Cameron Rowley during the craziest game of his life.

Iñigo walked over to his teammates, gripping his Firebolt in his hands, who were gathering. He hoped that they weren't too upset to see that a third year was on their team. That was the last thing he wanted to happen. He did however want to give a brief hello to everyone. But then he chickened out, but he did hope to run into Drage before the game started so they could go over some kind of tactic before the game started.

He had only been floating around a bit before all the professors finally were starting to gather. He flew down promptly, hardly being able to keep a smile off of his face. He felt great to be on the pitch again and he truly couldn't wait to get to playing. He hoped the chaser's on the professor's side would let some of the students get through so he could see some shots on goal. He wanted to see if he still was as talented as he used to be.

He did land at one point, joining all the professors briefly, waiting for the game to start. He did give a brief smile at Christina, but that's all he really directly did anything to, rather just said 'hello' to them and kept with the group.

A student vs. teacher game. Olyvia saw this ending very badly for the students. The teachers were all just so much more experienced than any of the players. Even so she'd signed up and she was excited to start the game. Sure her team would probably lose, but it'd be a whole lot of fun.
