"You figure things out quickly. Yes, he claims it fell on him when he was born. I would have been less inclined to believe him, but he turned one of my sages to gold. I don't think there are many others who can do that. He states he plans on bringing down the gods. I wonder if he'll be able to do that.

Berith shrugged. Whatever happened, it was no concern of his. He was actually interested in seeing if the gods could be taken down. It certainly would remove a thorn in his side.
