I don't think so. I was kind of tired and figured I would put my head down for just a moment before heading out and I must have fallen asleep.

Our world isn't occupied by only elves, you know.... and all the races use the same currency. So there isn't "elven money" any more than there is "iksar money" or "vah shir money".... though I've always wondered why the vah shir used the same currency....

Anyway, we use precious metals. Gold, silver, copper.... larger purchases are usually done with platinum.

You were pretty close with the gems, Ayami. Stones are more so used for armor, jewelry, and as reagents for spells.... though because of this last use, some people used them as payment to casters so they could get beneficial spells cast on themselves. Some people would also carry gems instead of coins because they weighed less.

As for costs, it's not like precious metals can't be procured here, but admittedly it is a bit more difficult. You'd have to ask Ryzan the exact amount per bottle, but if I remember correctly it was about 6 silver. I haven't looked into the exchange rate for silver in a while, but it might be around $18 per ounce, maybe.

I think I should head home *yawn* I don't think I really slept to well here last night.
