Arina looked to Elly before shaking her head. "He isnt stupid, ive only know him for a short amount of time and he's already managed to get his head around how my tech works, and he's smart enough to enter a battle and not get killed, that doesnt tend to happen to idiots."

Elly thought to herself, "I hope I didn't make Berner mad... I'm kinda... worried about him." she thought as she tried to play it off as she didn't care. "I did not need him for my mission anyway."

"Well, if you dont need him......i guess you wouldnt mind if i take him off your hands." She stood up, taking a large slice of cake of the table and followed after Berner, leaving Elly with Crall and Tauren.

Arina followed after Berner, slowing to a walk next to him with her hands in her pockets. "sooooo, Berner, I was thinking, Elly was right about me not knowing you very well....i hope you dont mind me asking how you grew up?"

Berner looked at Arina "how I grew up?... well for starters I was adopted by my parents when I was a baby. my little sister is their biological daughter.-" after that he made a short and to the point summary about it. he didn't really find his life all that intresting. "then my folks dissappeared one day so I been takign care for my sis ever since til I joined this jjourney. oh do't worry though the mayor of my village and his wife are watching over her while I'm gone." he started to loosen up up now as he stopped infront of the fountain by the arena. ".......... You know to be honest... it kinda bothers me how I'm the only person that can't use any other spells that isn't fire related." he opened his palm and instantly a fireball appeared and floated abve his palm. normally this skill would take more time to summon. and its no easy feat to summon it so quick.
"Yeah! Berner always gets happy when you give him food." Tauren agreed

Elly looked through the bag. "Ummm this bag looks kinda heavy, could you two maybe help me carry it to Berner?"

"Magic is a mystery, the fact that people are able to use it in the first place amazes me, you shouldnt worry about it Berner, the only things worth worry about are the things that happen right here, right now." She smiled softly before taking a bit of her cake"besides....you dont need to be able to use magic to be happy.....".
