emotion_bandaid I have been trying to find something to get myself out of this slump I have been in. I was hesitant to come back to gaia because of the lack of friendship and the desire to only speak with people around my own age.

I want to come in a introduce myself and hope to make friends along the way. Seems a bit slow paced, and I kind of like that. I don't have to struggle to keep up with a good conversation, which makes it a bit easier to ease back into things.

I just recently turned 28 (Monday). I work full time as a billing administrator for a small, rural telephone company. I have found that I enjoy my work thoroughly, but cannot say that I am completely happy with my position at the company. I believe that it is the co-workers I am surrounded by that make it less enjoyable. A positive change was made today though, and hopefully things will get better.

I do suffer from Severe Endogenous Depression and PTSD, and I have to deal with bad days frequently, so I may take a bit to respond. I was just hoping that I could find a place to be able to stop by while I am online. emotion_bandaid

My name is Lauren and I'll be turning seventeen years old on September 13th! I've been on gaia since '07, but I've recently got back on after being on hiatus off and on since about '10. I like foreign language, art, the color red, video games, fashion, reading, and a bunch of other things. : * As for college I'd love to study abroad somewhere and I plan on majoring in business.
Anywaaay, I will be going into my third year of French, which I'll continue to study more languages, one other language I'm doing a little self study in is Arabic. For video games I have a Xbox 360 and a PS3, which on my Xbox I play Minecraft, Just Dance, and Skyrim. As for my PS3, I've played the Assassin's Creed Series, Skyrim (again, lol), Deus Ex, and a bunch of other titles. Oh, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf is amazing, just saying. <3

I'm home schooled but i'll be going through junior year stuff come new school year, unless my mom skips me a grade, which is what she is trying for. I work part time for my dad, busing tables and cleaning and stuff. Although generally my days are pretty much free. Despite being home schooled i still have friends and hang out and stuff and generally do normal things people do I guess.

I haven't really been on Gaia at all in 3 years or so, and i recently made this account. smile I live in a small town in Oregon called "sweet home", but I've lived in a much larger city in California right next to LA. smile . I just turned 18 years old the 16th of May, which also happened to be the day I found out I was pregnant! whee I'm VERY excited to be a mommy, and my loving boyfriend is as supportive as it gets!
I have a pretty chaotic family life, so Thats why I like to be on a place like Gaia pretty often. Its a great way to put life on pause sometimes, i guess.
