*She was thrilled this morning to wake up and see her husband sleeping soundly next to her. heart In one sense, she doesn't want to wake him since he probably needs his sleep. But in another sense, she wants desperately to wake him up and shower him with kisses. heart She opts for kisses since its Saturday and there is always time for a nap. She slides over to him and kisses him in rapid fire succession and he grins crookedly as he wakes up to his wife's affections. cool
He rolls over facing her, wraps his arms around her tightly and kisses her tenderly. Good morning, Mrs. Dougherty. wink She snuggles in as close as she possibly can, enjoying the comfort and security of his strong arms engulfing her. heart They lay there in silence together and after a good long time they decide they had best get some breakfast so they get on bathrobes. She goes into the kitchen and makes breakfast while he has a seat on a stool at the island and scans the newspaper. She makes and pours him a cup of coffee, happily delivering it to him with a grin and a kiss. heart He thanks her and winks at her. wink While she cooks, he reads her a few articles from the paper he thought were interesting. She plates up their breakfast and sits next to him and they chat as they eat.
What do you say, we have ourselves a lazy day. No getting dressed, no work, no nothing. We just relax, maybe soak in the hot tub, watch a movie or two and just relax. No cell phones, no interruptions, no email, just us. heart We'll go to church tomorrow and then go over to the Estate to check on my Mother. Maybe take her over to the country club or something. *He nods and agrees.
So today was an official Pajama Day for the couple. And true to her word, no cell phone, no email, no interruptions…just them.*
