I have a suggestion about the battling stuff. What if the two people agree on a method for the battling? That way it's not strictly dice roll and people can have more control over how they battle. And if say someone attacks another person out of the blue the defender chooses the style in their next post.

Hello Missy.
Well I created a stat system, however I want to test it. I have a New RP up in this guild and I need people to join.

Also Raskal, I would like to test out the stat system and try to find any flaws, If it's alright with you, I'll be putting the stat system on my RP so check it out if you can.

Well, if we do that then what's the chance that the battle might be overly stretched? if we do let RPer do their methods then their had to be some type of post limits so the battle won't be too long. However by lengthwise and description, that can be arranged.

Well, I have to agree with the not doing dice roles. It's just that it gets annoying when you have to role then figure out what you got then edit your post again. But then again. It's not like we are battling the whole time.
And about counting words. Though I find that a good concept. I don't see how that works because, what if someone write a bunch then barely ever battle. How would they gain levels and such.

I've been battling in RP for close to ten years and I can tell you now that the fastest way to end a battle is to have a relaxed atmosphere with neither player being screwed out of something that they really want by losing. Otherwise it gets a lot more sophisticated and can turn more into a battle of strategy and intelligence that'll drag on like a chess game.
Basically, the higher the stakes, the longer the battle. Which I would say is acceptable but you could always negotiate terms or something.
As for the stat system, it should be regulated a little bit. For example, if all of someone's posts include absolutely no training or no hints of training or a bunch of trivial or irrelevant details then how much they type shouldn't count. Basically, if you aren't training, you aren't getting stronger. It doesn't have to be in every post, but at some point in a day or week they should have to train in order to get the stats they earned by typing.
That way you get people actually training their Pokemon and you reward good effort in writing and not just writing a whole lot to write a whole lot.

I agree with this statement also, however the points you accumulate aren`t going solely to lvling up. There will also be attacks you could purchase for points from certain tutors (HM moves for example), and special items too.

You know, I really don`t see how that would be a problem. If two people agreed before a match to forego the stat system, they could certainly do that if they worked out a plan before hand. It wouldn`t even change things for the people who decide to use the stat system either, since power levels would be based on how much you type and not weather you win or loose. If we decide to have it both ways however, it should be noted that you should still keep up with the rules for the system in the likely event that someone wants to use it when you battle them.

By all means go right ahead. I think we`ve come up with enough to have a trial run of the system at least. I won`t be taking part myself, simply becaus I don`t have the time. I will however pop in and out to see how things are working.

Yeah, that can work, and hey, it can also work as training as well. Also to tell you the truth, I hate dice rolls as well in battles and like to be creative in my words. Alright I should be almost done with my RP and the system, now all I need are members. I hope no one get's scared because the stat system's too complicated for their blood or the fact that I'm asking for Semi-Lit RPers.

Well, now that this is semi-settled, I think I will write Drake out of the rp and build a new character. Unova, here he comes.

wrote rough draft for two chapters in morters story.
posted them up but remember that they are unfinished
give me your opinion on story only since I need to edit and make it more pleasing to read rather then just "he said then she said"
Also since I plan to make these characters immortal to all but sickness and blade (Details will be worked out as we move on with morters story. So excited about this Idea I have been boiling for months thinking about it.)
anyway like I was saying I want morter to fall in love with either Diana or Jessica.
Diana will have a split personality thing. whenever she holds a gun or weapon she becomes this master strategist on the battlefield but when she isn't she is a very kind and motherly women who is just infatuated with watermelons (originally it was blueberry's but after seeing my ex gf hug a watermelon I changed it out of funniness). Diana may eventualy grow out of the little sister thing and start seeing morter as a guy rather then a brother.
Jessie already has a loveseed planted for Morter capable of growing into a relationship plant. She is strong, willful and capable enough to back her words with force. she is a tomboy who loves getting into mischief and picking on people she likes. She is a sickeningly expert shot with a sniper (able to shoot a pilot out of his jet without a scope) Jessie has the childhood friend thing going on and they already have great chemistry.
Both bring good qualities to the table both are able to console him in their own different ways and both are more then capable of kicking his a** into shape if his character needs it.
This will be my first "Fan-fic" And I don't wanna ******** it up . I'm leaning towards Jessie but before I was leaning towards Diana. I want a second opinion.
