 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kiri's frown deepened. "Yeah. The doll could use the Rinnegan. Which is why we were so certain it was you. And......And it summoned. It used a snake to find me." She added, remembering that suddenly. At Nowe's question, she couldn't help but blush. She asked her own question without answering his. "I've been meaning to ask aout what you'd said - The doll thinks it is who it's impersonating, right? Feelings, emotions, and all?" She seemed nervous and it was clear the doll had said something. She hadn't been this nervous with Nowe before they'd split.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Nowe was silent for a moment, but nodded. "Yeah, it mimics everything. It just can't function the same way...can't tell the difference between right and wrong, or when to hold back..." He said, "Just does or says whatever it's copied.."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Nowe's words left her with two questions - So did Nowe really feel that way about her? And why did the doll attack Konoha if it was copying Nowe? She took a deep breath and finally answered his question. "And yes, the doll did say something to me." Kiri said quietly. She couldn't even look at Nowe, playing with the black bracelet on her wrist. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Kiri's hesitance made Nowe just worry more and more. "It..It wasn't anything bad right? Was it to overprotective or something?" He asked. The suspense was killing him. "Whatever it was, you know that your important to me...Just don't be mad at me ok?"

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kiri shook her head, making her shorter hair sway with the movement. "No, it wasn't bad, not really. Just.....surprising." She said quietly. "I'm not mad. I just want to know if it's true. It said.......It said that you liked me as more than a friend!" She rushed the last part, knowing if she didn't say it fast she wouldn't say it at all. Nowe's blushed deepend, and he looked at her for a moment. Then he turned his attention to the stone. "Well um..there seems to be some handsigns used, though I think they may be incomplete. Maybe they never finished the jutsu."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kiri risked a glance up through her bangs just in time to see Nowe turn away. She sighed. Guess the doll had been lying then. It hurt more than she had thought it would though she'd suspected it would be this. Nowe was just her friend, nothing more. She turned to look at the stone, quietly accepting the change in topic. "Or maybe the handsigns were just so common no one thought to write them down." She suggested, her voice quieter than normal. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Nowe didn't say anything for a while. "I love you...and I've had the biggest crush on you since the chunnin exams. Yes I was jealous when that plant guy gave you the rose, yes I was jealous when other boys wanted to take you out to Lunch. And you are the most important thing to me ever.." He said, "And yes I feel like an idiot."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kiri let the silence stand, not feeling any need to break it. She was about to turn and leave when Nowe spoke again. She froze at his words. So the doll
hadn't been lying? The blood rushed to her cheeks, turning them red. She glanced shyly back at Nowe. Hesitantly, she moved closer and hugged him. "Don't feel like an idiot. I think that it's sweet of you to say that." She said quietly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Nowe continued blushing, but slowly hugged her back. He closed his eye's and took a breath. "So...did you give the doll a answer?" He asked hopefully. "Cause...I havn't heard you return my feelings yet." He said with a bit of a laugh.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kiri shook her head. "I asked for time to think. And while I was thinking, the stupid doll attacked Konoha." She said with a small laugh. In a way, she was glad she hadn't answered the doll. Now she could give her answer to the real Nowe. "But this was what I was going to say." She told him shyly, then leaned up to kiss him. It was just the briefest of kisses, a mere butterfly touch, but it was her answer. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Nowe blinked in suprise, as if the entire world had just changed for him. He looked Kiri in the eye's. Slowly he touched her cheek gently. "I'm sorry, I didn't quite here that. Could you say it again?" he asked with a smile, laughing lightly.

Despite her words, she kissed him a second time before pulling back and whispering. "I love you Nowe." It had taken a slap in the face to realize it, but better late than never. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Nowe laughed lightly before kissing her back, finally happy to have everything out in the open. When she pulled back and told him that she loved him, he couldn't stop smiling. "I love you to Kiri." He kissed her forehead. "You know...Zane's going to have a riot with this.."

How much you wanna bet the first words out of his mouth are 'I told you so'?" She sighed, resting her head against Nowe's chest. "How about you just kill me now?
