Scott blushed under his fur. "Is that how I became first mate?" He opened the door for her and sighed. "Well, it still confuses me." He shrugged and waved the whole thing away. "We need to focus on the girl though. The techies will work on our engines. I have a weapon I want to make."

Kira smiled before nodding "you attend to your weapon, i'm sure we will have time to talk later." She turned before shouting into a room on her left after a crew member in the ammunition room was playing around with the new incendiary bombs, after a few moments she walked out with a short lizard man under her arm as she mumbled to herself "seriously?....what on earth gave you the idea that would be a good thing to do."

Scott nodded and smiled at her, softly, meaningfully. It was the first smile in a while that he meant fully. Chuckling, he shook his head after she left and directed the Techies to do what they needed and gave them one of the power sources. The other he took for himself and began to weld metal into a tube-like shape.

Kira let the lizard man go out on deck before throwing him a mop and making her way into her cabin. After a few moments to think, she picked up Zackory's pistol and ran her hand over the silver inlay of the handle "hmmmm. so Hickot has a daughter, most probably something that was only made known to him recently. after all, he's never been one to stick around for long."

Rano looked to Rock and Lilly with a big grin "you two having fun?" He walked across the ship before jumping onto a crate and then up onto a Sail railing before sitting and looking down to them.

Lilly blushed a bit and took his hand. "Thanks." she said shyly. She then heard what Rano said and smiled. "He's training me." she told him.

Rano smiled before laying back against the mast as he balance on the Rails, one leg hanging over the edge. "Its always good to have abit of fighting exsperiance behind you, weither it be from real fights or from practice." He closed his eyes before running a hand through his hair "i myself learnt from watching my father......"

Rikka stepped back onto the ship as she looked to Willys mech before sighing "that thing better float." She made her way below deck, getting her mech leg support caught on a nail "dammit....come on!"

Anyways, back to training. The foot work for you to spin on yourself for that counter is rather simple, and works best when you have shoes or socks. It won't work the same if you are bare feet, I warn you. Now try to do the same as me along with me." Rock replied and got into the counter posture and waited for Lilly to do the same. When she did, he stepped his left foot back, waiting for her and after pushed it forward as it to kick, bring the staff along behind him in slow motion and brought the movement to where it would've hit. "Practicing just spinning on yourself can really help to learn this technique."

"Your dad must have been a good man." Lilly said with a smile before following Rock's movements. She then thought of something and looked at him. "Um could you attack me real quick." she said to him.

The large battle horn on the deck of the Sea-Witch was heard across the dock as Zackory stood at the helm of the ship, Leon safe down below deck as he shouted out to his crew "get to ta work ya lousy sea-dogs! we aint go all day!!, raise anchor, we set sail for the south!!" With that said, the gigantic anchor of the Sea-Witch rose as it turned out from dock, the horn blowing one more time before the sails dropped and the wind took them.
Rano barly had time to think about Lilly's comment as he looked out to the Sea-Witch before jumping down onto deck as he heard the horn blow "looks like Zackory's on the move Captain!!"

Sophie came out of the kitchen whens she heard the signal and went to the wheal. She pressed a button that raised the ancor. "Sorry you two, but training's over." she said as the ship's motor started and the ship followed Zackory's ship.
