Alyss slammed through the door and skidded to a stop inside the cafe. She took a moment to catch her breath. "Sorry I'm late. Stupid alarm clock wasn't working." She stood upright and looked around. "Is there still a position open? I'm short on cash and I need a place to work," she explained, trying to look as helpless as possible.

"It would, but since you gave it up, I won't mind your help here." Maria smiled, back to old, warm self.

Maria is there anything you need?

"Alyss! Dear, you're here! There's still a position for you! Can you make sweets without burning them?"

"Okay what did you all come here to apply for. Give me specifics. Bus boy, waiter, chef?"

"Okay, so I've got one applying for waitress. Carissima, what job did you have in mind?"

Comes out of the back carrying a stack of clean white tablecloths i made, embroidered with rabits, and i start putting them on every table before going back into the back, setting napkins and such at every table, Ikima happily following me as a simple pen could never keep him. "Im a waitress too. ^-^"

"Yes, we know that, Suki. You've been working for me for about a month now, correct? She's an absolute doll. Look at these tablecloths! She made them. Aren't they darling?" Maria exclaimed, proud of Suki.

Wow Suki will you teach me how to do that!

"Ill clean."She said softly. The mood went from tense to happy so quick that Carissima was lost

"Ill do anything." Mello said before giving Carissima a look. It was the look that said I-need-a-chocolate-bar.

She tossed a chocolate bar she had with her at her dad
