Well tell me, what is the Jewish religion about then?

The 10 commandments is not the Torah, the first Testament is the Torah. Basically, the old Testament is the Torah and in the Bible, while the new testament is only the Bible.
Judaism is not christainity in any way. There are the holidays, like Passover and Rosh Hashanah. There are major events that Christainity never heard of.

There's basis because Jesus was Jewish, but Christainity is completely different from what Judiasm is today. I give up. If you think Google is great, go for it. But it only works if you know what exactly you are looking for, and you probably don't. I'm sorry If you are misguided in religion, but if you want to learn that way, I hope one day you don't horribleily offend someone to where they might hurt you.
Like Satanism, if you truly don't know what that is, you might truly offend someone who practices it, because it's not worshipping the Devil. It's something else all together, but if you don't know that, there can be problems. If you truly don't know Paganism, you might offend that group too because you googled it and didn't talk to someone of that religion and listened to them.
I am Jewish. And you aren't listening to me and you are offending me because you are calling Judiasm similiar to Christainity when it is not. Maybe it was in the past when Christainity first started, but today they are no where close. Look for history, facts, not just what you see in a paragraph on google.
True defination is linked to Abraham and not Jesus for one. Also the kosher aspect of it. Christains eat cheese and meat together, including Catholics, Orthodox Jews do not. Do you even know the difference between Orthodox, Reform and Conservative?
Before you start a subject, actually know what you are talking about, not what you think you know.

Well if you actually told me more information about The Jewish religion, I would believe, considering I'm jewish and would know if it was right or not. But you gave me nothing. So that tells me you really don't know if you hadn't said but a few things right. There is so much more to it then you really do know.

Nope. Atheist here.

Why?

I believe in things I can see, touch, feel, smell, etc. I can't hold faith to something that's not concrete. It just doesn't work for me. Those who can, I respect in a way, because it's gotta be tough... I think religion is a good thing, personally, if it helps people. It gets bad when the people preaching love and peace decide to kill, slander, or just generally bash different people (homosexuals, people of different races/origins, nonbelievers in that religion, etc.). Religion is a personal thing, in my opinion, not law. A book does not give you a right to hurt others because they are different. To me no one religion is right and no one religion is wrong.

Do you think overly religious people are annoying?

Yes and no. If they just want to talk about their religion and share what the y believe. That's fine and it's more than welcome. I'm interested in different religions and their histories. When they start hurting people "In The Name of " or shoving it down peoples throats and basically disrespecting people's beliefs then... that's when they piss me off.
