You know, I finally asked a foreigner what a Washingtonian accent sounds like (she's my friend from Camerata) and she said we mash our sentences together too much. =w=;;;;

I asked for an example, she gave me "how was your day?"
She said it sounds like "howzurday?" =w=;

Random fact. >w>;

Apparently we do that too? Although I'm not sure if it's an east coast/Jersey thing or a general.. teenager thing?

Especially noticeable in "did you eat".. which tends to sound like "jeet".

I used to have to go to a speech class. The "s" was the only sound I didn't perfect when I quit. (Yes I quit speech class. I was in like 5th grade and it TOTALLY PISSED ME OFF MAN.)
