i created one already. her name is spider. she likes admiring the other horses from afar in the pasture. * picks a nice spot of grass at least 20 feet from the wild open horse pasture*

I'm not sure if you would find it interesting or not, but how would you feel about Deirdre trying out for the part of Mal's unrequited love plot?
She is obviously no Kalona, and is far from having a mate or kids, but she does have a slight fear of males and their presence, plus she is afraid of having her heart broken once again.
However, this does not mean she goes around trying to avoid them all together and sticks herself in a cave in the middle of no where. If they appear, she will try to be polite toward them, but still still remain wary and watch them closely, or try to make sure their paths don't cross, ie ignore and keep walking/walk in a different direction.
As you said with Mal, it is the same with Deirdre, depending on how things go, it could end any which way.
