"Hostel" at first i thought it was a movie like "EUROTRIP" nudity, drugs, sex, all within the first 30 minutes then someone dissapeares ehh alright then u see a decapitated head.....ehh alright now its turning into horror.

Quentin Tarantino was behind this which shocked me but i did like. They played a little tribute to him to in a scene in the movie. I wont spol much but theres alot of blood, and good makup usage. towards the end it had some sick humor, now all throught the movie i thought the ending was gonna blow..but i didnt it was good. Now this movie was also within the Saw concept of blood, torture, thrills and chills.

The characters though eh im shocked cause the wus guy whos nice and harmless i thought was gonna survive......nope its not. But i love how its not the typical "the female survives" movie no, the females die too all but one..

now, ill say this, the movie beat my expectations, and i would love to see the coming sequal if its just as good. i give this movie a 5/5

Hostel was dreadful. It was contrived and lacked any substantial plot. The cinematography was just disgusting, and the acting was sub-par at best. Even in terms of thematic content, it was lacking any substance; it's a film typical of the torture-porn/horror genre that is so popular these days, and as such, it's just totally predictable once you realize that this whole movie is about appreciating life, and not being a ********, etc etc. If I could give any film less than a zero score, this would be one of them.

"Pulp Fiction" a Star filled cast brings this movie to be one of my favorites. With memorable scenes..like the scene with the gimp, and the classic scene of john travolta dancing with uma thurman. The music is well known too in this movie, when u hear these songs on the radio youll think of these scenes. Just as well the memerable quotes theres so much...

The story id divided up so its tough to think which scene take place in which part but otherwise its quite good. And its by Mr. Quentin Tarantino, i personally loved it and would even watch it again. I give it a 5/5 im sure my friend the film major will most likely disagree with me like the last review but well see the next review...hmmm dunno

Seans quick review...."Sex and the city" AHHHHH THIS MOVIE WAS HORRABLE, theres a horse face woman and a old girl who looks like a daytime hooker, and 2 otgher girls and they shop, and talk, and talk, AND TALK, with the title SEX and the city i was thinking porn like the first 30 minutes of Hostel..that had more sex then in "Sex and the city" the main actress was only good ln "Hocus Pocus" wheres a surger cube if u needed one...

definitely a chick flick guys will only see it to get in their dates pants because this movie is torture F-- i mean 1/5 why not 0/5? cause eraserheads still worse hmm well this isnt a quick review at all meh oh well

"Urban Legends: Bloody Mary" Its a sequal to the origional movie yes has next to no tie ins from the past one. the only reference to it its some pictures and i think a newspaper article..thats the only reference.

Now heres how it goes back in the late 60's a girl named mary gets killed...i see where this is going....later on theres a slumber party 2 cute girls...and one girl who looks like she can be a b***h....just saying....

accompanied by one of the girls oms and some old man who looks like a molester (looks into the back story) oh wait he tried to daterape a girl oh so i was right he is a molester, well rapist. meh whatever hes creepy.

they ended up talking about "blooody maaary" about how you have to spin around say it in a mirror something with the lights..whatever...then they lay down starring at the cieling and say "bloody mary" 3 times...then she appears...

wait they summoned her a different way? after they said how the urban legend goes they summon bloody mary a different way? hell they hummoned her like someone would with "Beetlejuice" honestly the scripting is starting to suck...oh right its a horror movie...

and then cue the geeky brother who is an adverage teen...thats his character. alright, so what happens is mary comes back and instead of killing the people who ended up with her death she kills their children....makes perfect sence (i say sarcasticly) and how do they die? by urban legend style, of corse.

now since i was so,...amazed...by this movie they talked about how many are supposed to die...i forget then said its 5 people....but i only counted 4...3 jocks and the bitchy girl who was the main jocks..other woman...so..yeah how is there 5? eh whatever...

ok so they get help by a steryotypical hippie....wow...the killer kills the girls brother he tells the main character girl that he did which makes her try to fight the killer and fail, finally mary comes back and kills the killer by..killing him them brining him to her grave in a cheeeeesey graphical ending....we then cut to the girl who survives (ITS IN ALMOST EVERY HORROR MOVIE....bastards_ she sais shell be fine, shell recover, and the "everything will blow over" music plays


HOLD IT....she says shes ok after her one friend dies, and HER FREAKING BROTHER GETS KILLED..oh but thats fine shell live and show no emotion about what just happened....BULLSHIT this movie is crap...if i gave it a grade it would be -F-- if that was possable....this movie blows, it had a interesting plot, that was it.... 1/5

I really hope it's going to be Boogie Nights... every other Wahlberg movie pretty much fails, with the exception of The Departed, but he really only played a minor role there, so I wouldn't count it as a "Wahlberg" movie.

(Also, and this is me being nit-picky, but it would be "an intense movie," not "a intence movie." This is basic third grade spelling and grammar that everyone should know.)

"The Departed" if you want a good cop film with great acting, a good cast, and actually wasnt ripped off of a show, this is the movie for you.

Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, Alic Baldwin, Leanardo Decaprio and who else...oh yeah JACK NICHOLSON for the 3rd time Jack is great at playing a crazy man (if i spelled the names wrong...meh) The story is mainly the roles of 2 guys.

One was a man who Is a cop but actually works for a crime boss. (Jack nicholson) the other man works for the crime boss but is actually an undercover cop. The story revolves around them 2 one trying to catch the crime boss, the other trying to save him.

In the end theres killing, violence, blood. What i liked was how it all tied up in the end, although the love interest seemed ehhh like a b***h somewhat she played a good role in this movie too. I give it a 5/5

Stars -looks- Hieth Ledger, i think i heard of him someware....

He stars as a priest who is being summoned back to italy....WHY!!?? because his mentor was killed. Apparently there is a guy who kills people by eating up ther soulds but it looks like their eating up their sins in a clensing way.

The priest comes with a friend and a Ex girlfriend to itally, where they go on the move to solv this, it dwells more within the realm of demons and summoning and the movies a thriller...BUT its not a "keeps u at the edge of your seat" thriller.

Theres an underground cult where you get information from people who is about to die...theres also a man who wants to be pope (evil)...i want to spoil things buut not this time all ill say is towards the end the priest becomes something, something happens to the girl, and the villans die one dies happily the other painfully....

All and all ehhh it didnt fully captivate me but i would still recommend it, it has a nice plot and well it has Mr. cowboy butsmex Hieth Ledger (yes i said it ) soo a 4/5 id give it a 3 but in this case i know more people would like it more then i did...

I hardly think ridiculing the actor for his excellent (though at times, overwrought) performance in "Brokeback Mountain" is warranted in your review.

I'd say something about "The Order," but I only watched part of it before realizing that it was just a by-the-numbers thriller that totally underused Ledger. I then changed the channel and watched something else. biggrin
