What's better? PSP or DS

I have a grudge against the Psp,
I don't see why they can't just have the same games come out on the ps2 or ps3 =_= it seems to be the same format, it's kinda like how you can play game boy advanced games on a DS

I say DS, because they have backwards compatibility, also I've been a long time nintendo user.

psp is better
