Description: The wreckingball known as Zangai was once a living human who was the traveling companion, and brother, to Wanryoku. The man was not known for his intelligence, but his kind heart and blunt personality made him popular with pretty much everyone he met. However, on his final mission as a human during the equivalent of the Chuunin Exams in his lands with Wanryoku, the two came upon a glade where one legion fought against another, and one side was losing. This side was made up of children from six different squads, each having this be their first event, and their opponents were experienced warriors who had tried, and failed, many times to pass. Because of this, the younger warriors were being routed. Wanryoku hesitated for but a moment, but it was a moment far too long for Zangai. The large man charged into battle to defend the younger group, and was quickly aided by Wanryoku.

To say the least, the opposing forces were decimated.

However, in the end, Zangai died. In return for what had been done, one of the younger members, a shaman in her tribe, bound the brother's soul into a hunk of iron that oddly attracted other iron, other objects in the vicinity, forging itself into the iron ball it is now. This was bestowed unto Wanryoku as a thank you gift, and much to his surprise the ball possessed Zangai's mind, except now only his emotions, his feelings, came through to him whenever they were near, and never more would his brother speak. Because of his personality, abilities befitting his personality and jutsu specialty came with the weapon form that he now possessed. It was this that made Wanryoku take up the wreckingball as a weapon, and it has been his weapon for the last five years.

Ability Summary:
Excessive Gain ~ This is a basic technique, one that requires small amounts of chakra to activate and yet which may well drain one of chakra from excessive use. For each [25] chakra points sacrificed, the weapon will increase (in diamater) 1.5x, (in weight) 2x, and (in length), 2.1x. This does not negate any issues with wielding the device, for one must be of the correct strength, size, and mass to wield such a device for this to take effect. Should the weapon leave the hand of its user, it will revert back to its original shape and more chakra must be used to increase its statistics again. Note, this can only increase the ball twice in size before the limit is reached.

Excessive Growth ~ This ability is quite different than the previous power, for instead of increasing the size of the weapon it increases the size of the user. For each [40] points of chakra used, the user may increase their physical size up to 1.5x the original base. This also increases one's physical strength and vitality, but agility is arguably reduced due to the restriction of movement for something that size. If the weapon leaves the hand of Wanryoku, he will immediately be reduced to his original size, and all the damage that was inflicted upon him in his larger forms will be multiplied by a factor matching the number of times his physical body has increased. This particular ability lasts all of ten posts, counting only Wanryoku's posts.
**Note** ~~> Should Wanryoku voluntarily return to his original size, no damage will be sustained. Note, this can only increase Wanryoku's size twice before the limit is reached.


Empathy ~ Zangai has an intelligence, which is purely for role play purposes and will in no way effect battle unless the effects of feeling his brother's emotions affects how Wanryoku may act. This ability is permanently active, and cannot be silenced. The emotions can be felt by Wanryoku as long as he is within a fifty mile radius of the weapon.

Recharge ~ This is a very situation-based ability. It will only work should Wanryoku discharge one of the above abilities, or rather, disengage the abilites, of his own free will. [10] Chakra Points will be returned to the chakra pool for each successive use of the above abilities.

Element: Bloodline
Description: Sora focuses an immense amount of chakra into his feet, and pushes bones into the ground. He then feeds all of the built of chakra into these bones, causing them to grow at an incredible pace, creating a tower of bone that rises into the sky. Sora can traverse through these bones, and launch lightning based ninjutsu from different parts of the tower, without being there. Each level of the tower appears like a lotus flower, held up by thirty bone spikes. Each level is about ten feet high, with a width of 15 feet, with a total of six levels.

Description: Sora builds up chakra in his hands, then forces bones into the ground from his palms. These bones travel quickly around an opponent, and then grow forty spikes which try to entrap an opponent by closing at the center to form a bone shaped pyramid.

C Rank: Circle around the opponent is ten feet in diameter, and the spikes go 15 feet high in the air, before closing.

B Rank: Circle around the opponent is 15 feet in diameter, and the spikes go 25 feet high in the air, before closing.

A Rank: Circle around the opponent is 20 feet in diameter, and the spikes rise 40 feet high, and close as they leave the ground.

Description: Sora uses a low level of form manipulation, to create a serpant from pure chakra. Sora builds up a large amount of chakra, then molds it into a serpentine shape. He uses his chakra control to move the chakra rapidly to through the serpent, in a form manipulation pattern. The snake can deflect small projectiles and weaker jutsu. The snake has needle like fang. The serpent can only be destroyed by an equal level jutsu.

All versions of the serpent last 4 posts, but can be extended by using half of the chakra it took to create it, and extend its life by 2 posts each time.

B Rank: The serpent is about 3.5 inches wide, and 8 feet long. Can block Rank C Jutsu and lower. The serpent has 3 inch fangs capable of piercing anything weaker than steel.


A rank: The serpent is about 1 foot wide, and 17 feet long. Can block B rank Jutsu and lower. The serpent has 10 inch fangs capable of piercing steel.

S Rank: The serpent is 5 foot wide, and 46 feet long and can be ridden. Can block A rank Jutsu and lower. The serpent has 4 foot 6 inch fangs that can pierce chakra reinforced steel.

Technique Name: Shikotsumyaku Bushin no jutsu. (I hope this is right)

Description: Sora creates a single clone made entirely from his reinforced bones and chakra. The clone takes on the appearance of Sora and his has access to his bloodline ability, while not being able to use Sora's jutsu. Because the clone is made entirely from Sora's reinforced bones, it can surivive many attacks. The clone can survive jutsu one level lower than itself. The clone can withstand up to two jutsu its own rank. The clone can be destroyed with one A/S rank jutsu.

Technique Name: Blood to bone reanimation.

Type: Eiseijutsu
Description: After obtaining a sample of blood, Sora places it in a vessel made from his bones. He then seals it, and floods the vessel with his chakra forcing the blood and bone to bond.

Sora can use this technique, and implant the bone into his own body allowing him to temporarily produce the same chakra as the sample. This can allow him temporary access to its bloodline abilities, at the temporary loss of his own. Lasts five posts or less if Sora ejects the bone.

Sora can use this technique, and implant the bone into his Shikotsumayu Bushin. Allowing the clone to take on the exact appearance of the person he obtained the sample from. The clone gains access to the blood's bloodline abilities at the loss of Sora's Shikotsumayu. This causes the clone to burn itself out in 4 posts.

Description: A unique progression of weight training: Similar to the same property absorbing materials as chakra knifes utilized by the Nara clan, these paper tags, identical in size to that of exploding seals are fitted around the wrist like bracelets. Special sealing’s have been written on them to function as a passive collection box for Rufio’s excess chakra while in an idle state. It operates by him funneling chakra into the seals, which will then simulate a great multiplication of pounds (max: 250lbs) attached to his limbs without actually increasing their physical mass, making them practical for everyday use. Once the bracelets are emptied of chakra, Rufio is granted a massive increase in strength unmatched by routine weight training methods.

Description: Using Ogre's Grip from Hakyoku-ken no Kata, Breath can wield his heavy staff with one hand, and wield his sword in his newly free hand. In this state, he can use moves from Hakyoku-ken no Kata with his heavy weapon in addition to sword styles with his katana.
Additionally, moves that would normally target one of the weapons (Chakra Scabbard, Nibui Sasu [ Blunt Stab ]) target both instead of just one.

Description: Due to the loss of his eyesight from cellular degeneration, Al developed a technique to replace it. After some training, he learned to continuously emit trace amounts of dehydrating chakra, and the ability to read those traces in the air around him. Note this does not sense chakra, only the differences in temperature. This causes the area around him for a 30m sphere to be a constant 100 degrees. Only prolonged exposure would cause the normal symptoms of dehydration to set in, at an exaggeratedly slow pace. In a hot climate, I.E. Sunagakure, the range (not effects) of this sight becomes 50m. In a cold climate (Mist Village, Snow Village) this eyesight is reduced to 5m. Tl;dr Creates a detailed map of 5-50m around him, anywhere air is. Also raises (or cools) air temp to 100 degrees.

Description:
Upon discovery of his second element nature, Masaru came to realize that he could not develop the technique he had read about and been looking forward to learning, Rasenshuriken. At first it upset him, but in time, his desire to learn that unobtainable technique inspired him to create something similar to it.

Raidachi is a technique that utilizes both Raikiri and Rasengan. By molding his chakra into lightning and manipulating it from there, the user is able to create one large point or blade in his hand, making the Rasengan appear as a long katana -aka nodaichi- with the Rasengan in the centre, remaining a perfect sphere. The force emitted from this technique sounds like tens of thousands of birds chirping and usually causes others that hear it to grab for their ears. Furthermore, unlike Chidori or Raikiri, currents of electricity pulsate outwards from the summoned technique. This effect range of the pulse is three meters in diameter and is powerful enough to inflict third degree burns and probably cause paralysis.

First, the user must do the necessary hand signs for Raikiri. Then, upon summoning this technique, the user may do one of two things: 1) Drive it into his target with a combined force/effect of Rasengan and Raikiri. During the 'drive' the user will be forced to apply the Body Flicker Technique to an extent, and their chakra will be drained accordingly with said technique, making them hard to trace even for dojutsu; or the user may 2) shoot the gathered energy towards their opponent with speed slightly faster than a thrown, Rasenshuriken. During the shot, Raidachi will take on the appearance of a long and jagged blade, pulsating electricity outwards at about five meters in diameter as it speeds on towards its opponent. Whether it hits or it misses, upon impact, Raidaichi releases a wave of powerful lightning that expands to a diameter matching the expansion of a Rasenshuriken. This wave is powerful enough to cause third degree burns and even death if the individual hit does not acquire immediate, medical attention; anything in the center of the thrown attack will be partially incinerated. Option 2 cannot be activated without being in Sage Mode. Due to its potency, this entire technique is very hard to teach to another if they do not have an affinity/attribute related to lightning as does the user.

Technique Name: Sealing array type B #1507 (unnamed seal)

Element: Explosive!
Description: A large fuin array that expands from a compressed tag or can be made manually on the field. The field expands an effective zone of 20mx20mx20m in dimensions. The end result of the seal is shaped to the users whim being able to custom tailor blasts to their desires and must be detailed at the moment of creation, and cannot be altered. The explosion created rips the ground under the array a new one, encompassing a 20 meter area though again completely tailored to the users whim. This can be anything from everything to explosions to implosions. This is limited to three uses per combat however each post of prep counting as an offensive action. Each seal takes three posts to form in both tag and field form. Each seal must retain the original specifications that the sealer decided to use and can contain only a single detonation. The blast is indiscriminate and can harm the user, allies and foes alike.

Description: A seal used to draw two objects together. A minimum of two seals required, one seal is placed on an object and the other on a target. When activated these seals will be drawn towards each other in a rather forceful manner, going as far as to ripping a person off their feet and dragging them across the ground. An exertion of 80 stamina at the time of activation will prevent the target from being pulled to the tag however this will be considered a defensive action due to the strength of the powerful if not very brief pulling force. This seal can be kept in tag form with the chakra due to be paid upon use. The seal may also be placed on multiple targets at a reduction to the strength of which the homing seal draws the targets in. The targets are drawn in at a rate of 10m/s^2 for the base seal. The details are as follows.
1 target requires 80 stamina at a rate of 20m/s
2 targets require 40 stamina at a rate of 10m/s
4 targets require 20 stamina at a rate of 5m/s
8 targets require 10 stamina at a rate of 2.5m/s
16 targets require 5 stamina to overcome the pulling force and are drawn in at a rate of 1.25 meters per second. Each seal only requires a D ranked amount to make in the field, though require a B ranked amount of chakra to activate all placed seals. .

Description: Genjutsu of Izaya's own rank cannot do him any harm as long as he has his Sakkakugan active. That is to say, if a D Rank Genjutsu were to be used against a D Rank Izaya with his Sakkakugan activated, it would not work. This being the case, the need to use chakra to Kai out of the Genjutsu would no longer be required seeing as the Genjutsu did not work to begin. It should be noted that if he reaches S Rank and an S Rank Genjutsu were to be used against him, it would work. He can only stop Genjutsu his rank up to Jounin. He also is able to use Genjutsu at a cost of -5 the original amount of chakra.

Technique Name: Magen: Kiyoki no Mugen Odori (Demonic Illusion: Endless Dance of Madness)

Description: Can only be used while his Sakkakugan is activated. He is able to implement his Karasu Bunshin no Jutsu into a Genjutsu, creating an endless supply of crows. These crows act as a means of offense within the Genjutsu to rain down and all around the foe(s), addling them and causing blunt damage, pecking, or just flying around ominously. Essentially a first step for his other attacks.

Technique Name: Magen: Kiyoki Yumemi (Demonic Illusion: Dreaming of Madness)

Description: Can only be used after Magen: Kiyoki no Mugen Odori. The endless crows all began to swarm around the foe(s) in a twister of blackness, completely blinding them from view of the outside world. These crows can then reform at any point in time into Izaya, showing the little boy going in for a physical attack (if one knew him then they know that he is weak physically), which will point the foe(s) attention to him. While they try to defend or attack against the fake, or fakes depending on how many are made, Izaya will come in at one point or another to deal the physical blow, mainly with a Kunai.

Technique Name: Magen: Kiyoki no Ame (Demonic Illusion: Raining Madness)

Description: Can only be used after Magen: Kiyoki no Mugen Odori. The endless crows will begin flying around madly in one direction, which is a natural sign of something bad to come. An even larger number of crows will fall from the sky, no spaces between any of them, leaving no room for escape. They come in a giant hurricane-like shower of rain, beating down on the foe(s) and delivering bone shattering damage to the foe(s) body while somehow drowning the victim, as if they were underwater. As with all Genjutsu used with the Sakkakugan, this technique has the potential to kill.

Technique Name: Hataori no Jutsu: Kon Gomakashi [Weaving Technique: Soul Deception] (Deviation of Kon Inmetsu)

Description: This is a simple deviation from the Soul Destruction technique that instead allows the user to make foe become friend. The way in which this is done is that the user inserts themselves in any portion of a person's past that they wish, and in doing so, the one afflicted will believe that themself and the user have been best of friends for many years.

Technique Name: Hataori no Jutsu: Kalai-pahoa no Jumon [Weaving Technique: Spell of Kalai-pahoa] (Deviation of the Spell Techniques)

Type: Genjutsu
Element: N/A
Description: A Genjutsu that requires nothing more than for the user to begin crying in which case the tears that fall from the user's eyes and the eyes themselves are black. This Genjutsu is one that Izaya cannot necessarily control, and this Genjutsu spontaneously manifests when he feels emotional distress: fear, grief, anger, etc. People near him when he manifests these symptoms rapidly become ill and die several posts later unless something is done, also leaking black liquid from their eyes. The blood of Izaya's victims also turns black. This Genjutsu incapacitates people who are affected, leaving little opportunity for them to try to attack him. A die roll will be implemented whenever Izaya's mood shifts, which will determine whether this power takes effect or not. A ten sided die will be rolled and the should the result be 1, 4 or 7, all those within a 15 yard range of Izaya will be under its influence. Should the result be a 3, Izaya will feel the effects of his own power.

Only when he retrains this ability three times will he be able to properly control when it takes effect.

Technique Name: Hataori no Jutsu: Sekai Hashi no Sakibure [Weaving Technique: Harbinger of the World's End] (Deviation of Buin no Senkusha)

Requirement: Sakkakugan
Description: The Sakkakugan is needed for this Genjutsu to work because of the reality of it all. Nothing in this Genjutsu is fake and it requires the Kugai technique to be molded in the user's favor. The one(s) subjected to this powerful Genjutsu will be visited by three spirits. These spirits cannot harm the individual, and they come one after the other. The first is the spirit of the past named Imamu which comes to the individual and carries him back in time. While in the past, the spirit will speak to them and remind them of all the good times with now deceased relatives and friends and various events. Then they will be visited by the spirit of the present called Banafrit who will lead a person through the here and now, showing them things happening around them that they were otherwise unaware of. Then finally the spirit of the future, Alastor, will come to them and bring them into the future to let them see events to come. What the victim(s) see and feels is completely dependent on the user, and it can be said that the user is able to see into the victim(s) past with this technique. It does no harm except affecting a person's mental state and make them think they are feeling pain when administered.

Description: Eirlys is able to form her Hatsuyuki into a pair of solid snowy wings on her back which she can use to fly around with ease. Two Hatsuyuki are required to form these wings and they last for a duration of 1-8 of the user's posts.

Description: Eirlys is able to manipulate the cold air about herself, sending it out in the form of a thick fog below -20 degrees Celsius. This fog is so thick it can shroud an area within 15 yards of her, masking her escape or making it difficult for those without resistance to extreme cold to become perturbed and unable to concentrate to form handsigns or think effectively. If it persists for 10 posts the targets around the area will either become unconscious or die depending on the situation. The fog creeps, meaning it travels very slowly, taking one post to traverse 5 yards.

Description: Whenever Eirlys touches someone who is not resistant to extreme cold, they will begin to shiver uncontrollably. This may cause the slowing down of electrical impulses to the brain and significantly slow a person's reaction time due to the cold.

Description: Eirlys is able to solidify the snow within her Hatsuyuki to create a thin shield that can stop Ninjutsu damage below B Rank except Katon and Doton. Doton will shatter the thin ice while Katon techniques C Ranked will cancel the ice, creating steam and doing no harm. B Ranked and onward will melt the ice and persist.

Description: Eirlys executes this Genjutsu by being close enough to a person where she can whisper in their ear. Description: A technique that can only be done by using either the Breath of Winter Technique or the Wintry Winds Technique. It requires for Eirlys to use either to blow on the ground a distance from herself to conjure a twister of snow that grows to about 2 meters vertically and extends in width by exactly 2 feet onward as it rises (Breath of Winter). It becomes twice that size should she use Wintry Winds. It is powerful enough to uproot trees and freeze the ground it passes over as it goes. Should it manage to trap a person(s) inside, the cold winds that beat against them may potentially cause them to freeze, and there are large snowballs present that cause heavy blunt damage. It lasts for a duration of 1-3 posts.

Description: Sumi Akuma a secret technique of the Imatokai clan of ukyo users, The user uses they Ukyo mizo to cut themselves in certain areas of their own body and spill ink on the ground on the circle as preparation for Sumi Akuma. They then do the handsigns for Sumi akuma, and the ink on the ground envelops them in a bubble. When they emerge they take the appearance of certain mythology or creatures (shiro’s case it’s a tengu). In this state ink techniques no longer need the ukyo mizo or paper just the handsigns and a thought of the drawing to take form, ink attacks are a rank higher in strength, and with the new form ukyo users can attack with claws, or whatever their demon has to attack with. However to this great power is a wicked draw back, to do all this the ink is constantly entering the users wounds and leaving out another wound, meaning the user is constantly bleeding out which if they take too long can kill them, so they have to stop the technique or die trying to beat their foe.

Description: Focusing Chakra into the user's dominant hand, a blade made of lightning, roughly the length of the arm, portrudes from the hand, starting at the wrist. If an opponent is cut by the blade on one of the non major limbs, the most that will happen is similar to the Current Transfer technique, numbness of affected limb. No blood is spilt, as the blade cauterizes the cut. However, if precise contact is made to the chest, specifically the skin over the heart, the electricity from the blade will overload the victim's vital systems, resulting in shock. Prolonged time without medical attention will result in death. The blade itself can be used like a physical sword, however, when clashing with an opponent's blade, the electricity is nulled unless the blade makes contact with skin. Past the intial manifestation, each subsequant post that the blade stays in physical form costs an additional 15 Chakra. The maximum post duration is 4 WITHOUT great harm to the user. Past post 3, burns will begin to appear on the hand and wrist, worsening with each post. Also, 20 Chakra is now needed to keep the blade stable.

Description: A genjutsu mostly for those who use blade fans as a weapon. Once activated, it will seem as if there are dozens of blade fans surrounding the user, moving as if the they are able to control them all at will. However, they all move only at random. The sheer numbers are enough to cover a 10 ft. radius around the user. With a signal, some fans will start spiraling and moving rapidly in the air while others rush at the victim at random in order to cause confusion. No harm befalls the victim through this genjutsu however, since it is mainly used for intimidation and distraction. Can last up to 4 posts.

Technique Name: Kazanretsu no Jutsu [ Volcanic Chains Technique ]

Description: Once activated, the genjutsu begins with the ground violently shaking. Cracks and large crevasses will appear, along with heated chains coming from them, as if breaking loose from the ground itself. The chains will then spring towards the victim(s) and wrap around their arms and legs. The heated metal will make them feel as if their flesh is burning, and that fire will slowly spread through their entire body. Since this is a large-scale genjutsu, the user is able to cast this on multiple people at once, however they must be within a 15 ft. radius of the user and it cannot be cast on more than 5 people at once. With more chakra input however, the limits can decrease.
-40 chakra: 6 people in a 20 ft. radius
-80 chakra: 7 people in a 25 ft. radius

Limits: Lasts 2 posts maximum, only usable once per fight, can effect up to only seven people.

Description: After chakra is laced into the earth in a steady stream, with a flare of that chakra, 5 pillars made of solid rock that are 15 ft. tall and have a diameter of 7 ft. will rise from the ground around the victim. Chakra strings from the pillars will attach to the user and drain chakra. Each pillar can only have up to 8 chakra strings attached to them, for a total of 40 chakra strings. For every chakra string after the first, the amount of chakra drained of the victim increases by multiples of 5.
1 string: 5 chakra
2 strings: 10 chakra, etc.
If 40 chakra strings are made, the maximum amount of chakra the victim can lose is 200.
After the 20th chakra string, the user will stop absorbing chakra but the victim still continues to have it drained, so the user can absorb 100 chakra at the most.
This technique can be interrupted if all five pillars are destroyed at once. If one pillar is destroyed, it can regenerate. If a pillar is destroyed for a second time, it can regenerate at the cost of 20 chakra. If a pillar is destroyed for the third time, it remains destroyed along with the 8 chakra stings attached to it.
It takes one post for a maximum of 10 chakra strings to develop, two posts for 20 strings, three posts for 30 strings, and four posts for forty.

Limits: Lasts 4 posts maximum, only usable once per battle. Takes up 2 custom jutsu slots.

Description: The victim will start to feel as if they are dreaming, and nothing around them is reality. While this might grant them confidence and carelessness, after 1 post the 'dream' begins to morph. The user cannot alter surroundings or control the genjutsu once it is cast, but can release it.
1st post: Surroundings are peaceful and pleasant, but the genjutsu can only be broken with an output of B rank worth of chakra from the victim, otherwise the victim is susceptible to attack from the user since the user is not in the genjutsu.
2nd post: The surroundings darken, the sky reddens, and the air becomes cold, making it seem as if the victim is caught in a nightmare. The genjutsu can still be broken with a B rank amount of chakra, but the victim's mind begins to shut down, tricking the user into believing they are asleep.
3rd post: The victim's consciousness completely shuts down and the victim falls asleep. The genjutsu can be broken with an A rank amount of chakra.

Limits: Cool-down of 10 posts, Lasts 3 posts

Description: An alteration of Seizetsu Kakkou [ Gruesome Form ]. The genjustsu cast on the user is still able to interact with what is real, but around a 15 ft. radius of the user, reality is distorted and the user's surroundings also become genjutsu. If the victim is within 20 ft. of the user, the victim(s) themselves are also covered heavily in genjutsu until it cannot be broken unless the user breaks the technique. If multiple victims are around the user, they also become affected. While in this genjutsu, the user is able to shape the genjutsu to their will, but Kugai is not able to be used. After 1 post, the genjustu begins to slow down the reaction time of the victim(s), making it seem as if either time itself is slowing or the user is moving at high speeds. The genjutsu can only be broken if the victim(s) release an S rank amount of chakra.
Limits: Can last no more than 3 posts, only usable once per battle. Takes up 2 custom jutsu slots.

If the victim is able to dodge the bolts, after the second post of the technique and with the addition of 20 chakra, the lightning will become heavily concentrated in the sky above the victim and rain down in a 10 ft. radius around the victim. This stage of the technique can cause 3rd degree burns and render the victim unconscious.

Description: This sword is known to have originated from old folklore, and people still do not doubt that it is just a fairytale. It is said that a thousand years ago, the deity ruling over mountains during heavy storms and earthquakes was defeated in battle against the god ruling over the oceans in good weather. The exact reason for their battle remains unknown, however. The deity then sealed the defeated guardian and made it take the shape of a sword. Its punishment was to be used as a simple katana for all eternity, or until the god who won was killed. When the guardian was made into a sword, all his powers and abilities were almost completely erased, and his very consciousness and identity was eradicated. So now, the weapon remains simply a sword, a shadow of its former glory. As an act of further malice caused by unknown reasons, the god had the blade permanently dulled to further shame Kura Yama Tsumi no Kami. The metal cannot be sharpened by any physical means and cannot cut an opponent if used plainly.
This katana has been secretly passed down in her clan ever since it had been given to the very first Kurama clan member. It remains unknown who found it or gave it to the clan, however. For generations, powerful shinobi from the clan have attempted to wield it, but misfortune would always befall the person. The bad luck would range from tripping or losing objects to becoming terribly ill and fatigued. After a while, the people slowly started to realize that the source of the misfortune was the blade's way of refusing the master. Ever since then, they had made it a tradition for youngsters of the clan aspiring to be shinobi to lay their hands on the hilt, call the sword theirs, and wait for one week. If the unusual bad luck followed the child, they were labeled as unworthy wielders.
One day, it was 5-year-old Hitomi's turn to call the blade her's. She waited for one week, with no signs of bad luck. In fact, things seemed to actually be going better in the clan. The crops flourished, the sick were healed, etc. Hitomi was chosen to be the master, but could not use it until she had the right amount of chakra and experience. She has kept the blade with her ever since she left the clan, waiting for the time where she would be experienced enough to use it. Although she could not use it, she was taught as a child of its history and abilities by the clan elders, who spent many years studying it.

Ability Summary:
• The unique metal that composes the sword allows the length of its blade to be altered when stimulated with chakra. However, the blade cannot be shortened to less than 24 inches (2 feet), nor stretched beyond 84 inches (7 feet).

• The scabbard's size cannot be altered, and the blade must not be in motion while being altered.

• [30] chakra is consumed per length alteration. Only one alteration can be performed per post.

• Because the blade of this weapon is eternally dull, chakra is used to simulate sharpness and other battle effects:
