As sable had called him to her closet Kael walked inside it with but a few step's as he looked around at her dresses. "A dress for the fairest of maiden's cannot be something so...Expected as these dresses" he said with a swipe thru her clothing his fingers running across each of the dresses before him. Standing in her closet shirtless the light from above showed his upper body in all it's toned glory. The scent from Valen having vanished not long after he had removed his top. "Mademoiselle is expected to arrive in something that none would imagine and for that I have something already prepared" he said with a chuckle as he stood there. "Fortunately enough our dear Valen has opted for a color that I was expecting so it will match with the both of us" he smirked turning around. "Rosette" he called a scurrying could be heard outside of the door as it opened slightly. "Bring me the dress I had designed and had gotten crafted for the Sable" he said simply as he turned back around to look at sable simply waiting now. It took several minutes but eventually a young girl came running into the room her age no more then 18 as she almost stumbled into the room. "Here you are Master" the girl said holding a opaque white colored bag across her arms to keep it safe. Giving it up to Kael she bowed deeply before exiting the room taking her place not far from the room but within earshot of the one she served one of the few that would come to his call quickly. "Ahh yes here we are" he said taking the dress out of the bag and holding it infront of her. Hanging off a hanger was the dress Kael had in his free time and with the help of knowing her measurements crafted on paper for Sable. Now the finished product was presented infront of her each part of it crafted to the highest quality of craftsmanship. "This will match both to Valen and myself's clothing color choices" he said with a smile as he whisked the dress in front of sable's body as he gripped her from behind turning her around to face a mirror in her closet and see how she would look with the dress on. "Isn't simply as lovely as the jewel that will be wearing it" he questioned kissing her neck softly as he looked at the mirror himself a small flash of red coming to his eyes for a moment. Hearing Valen return tho the color faded as he turned his head back towards the door. "In her Valen" he called to him before returning his eyes back towards the mirror. He himself still needed to get ready and would when Sable would likely approve the dress go himself to change. (Since I don't know what the hell they call parts of a dress I will give you a picture to help your imagery. The main part is a deep midnight blue with where the sparkles are at is colored royal purple. The Dress. )

Aggravation was possibly the first word that sprang to Jackie’s mind. The second, third and fourth would have been annoyance, anger and finally hopelessness. She tugged at the hem of her dress, a frown flitting briefly across her face as her mother slapped her hand away before returning to brushing for the final time.~~~ The moment she had walked into the house Jackie was ambushed with a bottle of mousy brown hair dye, a bath towel and an imposing matriarchal mother who ushered her towards the bathroom and proceeded to assault her head with the vile smelling liquid before launching into a list of reasons why grey hair was inappropriate for a woman of her age for the next 4 hours. In which time Jackie had been forcibly squished into a dress and attacked with several different forms of make-up. ~~~ Sliding into the back seat of her parents care Jackie sent her reflection in the rear view mirror a withering glair. Her hair had been pushed back away from her face, uncovering her normally hidden left eye. It was hard to admit that even with a wide acceptance for what had happened to her Jackie still found it painfully uncomfortable when people could see the almost glassy, unfocused look that it held. Turning her head sharply away from the mirror Jackie bit back the slight amount of bile rising in her throat as the car was reversed carefully out of the drive, a mantra forming in the grim-faced woman’s head in time with the rumble of the engine ‘let it be over soon’.

Sable admired the dress for many moments, the expression on her face speaking louder volumes of her oppinion in this particular situation than her words ever could. Which to say, she was very pleased with Kael's selection. As per always, he just knew what would look best on her for any given ocassion. Sable was barely able to refrain from giggeling in delight as she voiced her thoughts as best as she could, "As always, you fail to dissappoint. This is perfect, thank you~" It was shocking for anyone else to hear her utter anything even remotely resembling a 'thank you' outside of pure sarcasm. Kael just seemed to go above and beyond to make her happy with things like this, though. As one can tell, his efforts were most often quite successful.

Jane showed no look of surprise, but instead brandished a look of pure disappointment. Ava was just after that after all, wasn't she? "I...uhm..." she sounded uncomfortable as she spoke, not immediately voicing any particular answer. If prompted with any attempt at persuasion, though, she would probably give in. When asked something such as this point-blank, it was easier to quietly stall in the place of the word 'no'.

Valen just leaned back against the doorway leading into Sable's room with a look of pure boredom on his features, knowing the tedious task of picking out a suitable garment for his Origin would be near mind-numbing to one such as him. How does Kael enjoy this so much? Dressing up a spoiled brat like her isn't even worth the effort it would take to sew the cloth by hand stitch after stitch. Such a thought ran through his head with almost predictable frequency, the only save place for him to utter his phrases without incurring a temper tantrum from the subject. Turning his gaze away from the delight upon her face, a small twinge of jealousy and respect for Kael that he refused to admit to in his chest, the older Consort took note of the time. "If we are to leave, let it been within the next hour. Or else you'll risk being simply late instead of fashionably late Sable." His phrase was clear and precise, simply an offering of advice to simply move her along before she started gushing any further in front of him.

Sighing, Ava cuddled closer and kissed her friend's cheek. "We need to work on your self-esteem," she said with authority, which was very true. If Jane happened to fall in love with Ava while they were building her confidence, well, such was the price of being a good person. "First, if anyone asks you for sex, say no. Unless you love them, and are in a healthy relationship with them, then you can say yes. Got it?" She smiled sweetly at her friend.

A light shiver visibly shook through Jackie’s entire body. People milling around the room fazed in and out of her site as men and women alike greeted Jackie’s parents, some even addressing the obviously edgy woman with cheerful hellos only to have them dutifully ignored as Jackie focused on who was in the room, or more specifically who was on the left side of the room that Jackie couldn’t see. Narrowing her gloomy features into a sharp frosty glair in an attempt to ward off anyone who was thinking of approaching her and thankfully it worked as Jackie made her way around the room, stopping at the uninhabited end of the food table with no interruption or attempt at small talk. From her newly possesed corner she could now see most of the room the only blind spot was the area surrounding the left side of the corner she was currently inhabiting, so unless someone decided to play silly buggers and slink along the wall that she was pretty safe. With little more thought to any other people in the room Jackie pulled one of the plates closer to the edge of the table and examined the content….prawns….brilliant. Wrinkling her nose she pushed the sea food further away then it had been situated, her arms crossing over her chest as she began eyeing the clock. It was going to be a long night if all of the snacks were fish based.

Seeing that Sable enjoyed the look of his own designed dress for her Kael laughed a little bit as he walked out of the closet. "Valen has a good point on the matter I need to get dressed myself" he told them exiting the room in a hurried manner. Heading to his own room Kael stripped from his clothing when he entered quickly making his way to the shower. He was finished within there in only a few minutes tho very thorough with his own cleaning. Stepping out of the shower he looked to his closet wondering what he would wear for only a moment as he walked inside. "Ahh here we are" he said with a bit of a smirk. His garments had come back from the cleaners it seemed the last time he had worn them blood from a few unfortunate art subjects had gotten on it. "This shall work well with Sable's own dress" he laughed entering the closet and getting dressed within it's confines.
Less then an hour later Kael returned to Sables room now donned in his clothing. The outfit by a quick look seemed almost plain for Kael until it was examined at a closer look. The jacket a deep midnight blue flashed in the light streaks of royal purple that had been woven carefully into it hidden within the other color until a ray of light showed it's presence. The shirt underneath was a deep ebony with hints of white accenting the collar and several other parts of it in a way that played upon it as if they were merely shadow's on the garment. The pants like the jacket held the same purple fibers within it's stitching as did the tie that he wore. His shoes polished to a shine caught the light of the room reflecting it with ease as he stood there. A final some what humoring touch hung from his left ear as a silver cross with a single amethyst stone hung there. "Ahh well then are we all ready to go save for you last one who is likely soiling the house with her science" he chuckled simply adjusting the tie on his neck delicately.

Without further ado, Sable began removing her own garnments as Kael left the room. As she began donning her dress for the evening she pondered what the guests of the party would taste like. Suicidal teenager? Dead-at-heart-prostitute? If they tasted anything like recently tortured-to-death fools, Sable absolutely had to drink from them! The mere thought of such a flavor left a hungry, almost lustful look in her dark autumn eyes as she licked her lips. Once everything was on just right, she practically skipped out of the closet, flashing Valen an eager grin just as Kael returned. "Most likely." she agreed, letting out a soft chuckle. "If she doesn't hurry we'll have to leave her behind."

Jane nodded at Ava, looking up at her friend with a look of mousy fear as she attempted to speak. It was not of Ava herself, but of talking to anyone while looking them in the face. "I...I...I try. I really..really do. It just...it just gets so hard to say no when people beg. I feel like I'm letting them down when I say...that word, and that makes me feel like I'm even less of a person than I already am." Of course, she ended up sinking her gaze back to the ground after the second I. Her voice would get quieter and quieter the longer she would speak until the very last word sounded barely any higher than a whisper.

"Oh, Sable..." Lilit slipped from the shadows, running a finger along the back of Sable's hand. "I got bored, so I was testing my stealth. Seems Sy taught me well after all." She smiled sweetly at the Origin.
"Honey." Ava kissed her friend on the cheek, then moved onto her lap and cuddled close, grabbing Jane's arms to wrap them around her, then she hugged Jane. "You're a great person, and you really do need to learn to say no once in a while. Bask in the glow of best friendship and let the fact that I love you build your self-esteem, 'cause you're really special." Then she rested her head on Jane's shoulder.

Valen nodded his consent as he kept his expression neutral, the flash of her smile burrowing into his mind in spite of his best efforts to the contrary. He had only just managed to avert his eyes from when she was changing, refusing to give himself over to ogling her as every other member of the Clan would have freely chosen if given the chance. Turning at the subtle patter of Lilit's footsteps he turned towards the doorway to find a suitable servant to fetch a driver for their quartet. Soon enough a mid-sized nondescript driver in a sleek black uniform was summoned, the pale-skinned Host bowing deeply to the Consort. "The limousine as always. The full-length sedan with the luxury interior, of course." As the man scurried away the vampire followed after him, eagerly putting some distance between himself and his charge knowing that Sable would be alright in Lilit's hands (though the image of the two of them together was something akin to torturous).

"Should you inevitably tire of your one sided bouts of affection towards Sable Lilit, I would suggest that you scurry along and make yourself presentable for the party. There is very little time left and as you have spent most of it dawdling away in the name of such a boring thing as science I pray you have barely enough time to get ready" Kael laughed a bit. Looking to Valen Kael gave a small bow to him for summoning the limo which would make it easier to for them to arrive. Kael made it very open of his dislike of Lilit due mostly to her continued talk of a vampire he considered nothing more then a speck of dirt to Sable. "Valen-" Kael started turning as he noticed that he had gone already. "Ahh never mind then" he murmured cracking his his fingers as he looked back to Sable. "May we make haste as to not miss a prospected meal from one of these human's who believe themselves to be the top of the food chain" Kael asked with a laugh extending his hand towards her.

"If only she'd taught you the importance of timing." Sable teased Lilit, doubting that the woman would be able to prepare herself in time for the party. Before she had known it, Valen had scurried off yet again. Sable couldn't help but frown slightly at the realization. Sure, he had gone to get the limousine, but the way he often avoided her gave Sable the impression that he wasn't quite happy with his place at her side. It was irrelevant, since he would be her's no matter what, but it was still an annoying thought to entertain. At least Kael didn't avoid her so! Speaking of which, she readilly accepted his hand, eager to taste the blood of the rich and famous. "Certainly."

"Oh, yeah? Well..." Lilit smacked herself. "Shuttlecock. That was supposed to work! Dammit, I ruined my science outfit for nothing..." She tore off her clothes to reveal an elegant dress. "Anyways, I bet you could hardly tell I have three knives, a kukri, and a pistol. I was going to share my secrets, but everyone's hating on science, so nobody gets to know." She pouted.

Valen followed behind the driver to the long sleek black limousine, taking the time to inspect every minor detail personally. Although the impressive length of the vehicle remained within the confines of the garage interconnected to the rest of the manor, he would never allow himself to idly trust nothing had been done in terms of any unwarranted modifications or add-ons that could prove fatal if left unchecked. Satisfied with his search the Consort nodded to the serving girl he had called upon earlier, dismissing her with a wave of his left hand absently. "Go and fetch Kael. He'll make sure Sable and her pet are ready to leave." The girl scurried away back to the Origin's domain, leaving behind the elder vampire to open the door in anticipation. I would ask Sable to hurry up, but if I have to ask for her to change anything about herself, I might as well as for the skies to rain gold and women.

"I don't need them. I am formidable enough on my own." Sable replied to Lilit, keeping her usual playful smirk for the moment being.
Jane really did enjoy hearing Ava's praise, even if she didn't necessarilly believe a word of it herself. It would take more than a moment's words to fix her nonexistant self-esteem. Unable to voice such truths, however, she simply settled with saying, "I...I'll try."
