Think clearly, Autha! Stay calm! I need to think...

She smiled seductively and nuzzled him. "Fine then. Whatever you say, dear." She leaned closer and kissed him, but for some reason it felt like it wasn't Bonfire that she'd kissed.
Oh well.
While he was caught off-guard, she punched him across the face and knocked him to the ground. Pinkie, bu this time, had noiced things were slightly off, so she ran around the corner to stay out of their way.
"Thou art the veriest varlet that ever chewed with a tooth! Begone from me! We are finished!" she hissed, using her Old English tongue. She stomped off confidently, but her heart was broken.

Bonfire got up and rubbed his muzzle. "Buck... Ah, who needs the b***h."
"Autha... It's... it's not me... it's not... me..."

A tear rolled down Bonfire's cheek and his dark red coat turned completely grey.

~Chapter 3 - Professor Path Finder~

 

[Fenrir Shade]

((Oh, this should be horribly fun... I already feel bad.))

Professor Path Finder is strolling through the market, minding his own business. He hadn't been out of the house for a week, and he needed the fresh air.

An odd blue mouse scurried through the busy street. It stopped in front of Path Finder and looked at him curiously. Just as quickly as it stopped, it ran off.

PF begins to follow the mouse. Why? He had no idea. He just felt compelled to follow it.

The mouse ran into an alleyway between two houses and scurried behind a trashcan.

PF gallops after it, curious. He rounds the trashcan to see what the oddly colored mouse was up to.

The mouse was gone, but in it's place was a blue snake. The snake looked at Pathfinder with it's hypnotic eyes. With it's natural speed, the snake struck at Pathfinder, but it never bit. The snake slid down the surprised stallion's throat.

"You're mine..."  

[Fenrir Shade]

PF staggers back, gagging and choking. But the feeling passed and his mind became cloudy. His coat grew duller, and foreign thoughts entered his mind. He shakes his head, thinking it was just delirium and that his mind was playing tricks on him. He leaves the alley and continues on his walk. But instead of politely weaving in and out of the crowd, he plowed straight through. He knocks over a young mare, and she began to tear up.

'Oh, pardon me. I didn't mean to hit you. I must have stumbled.'
"Watch where you're going shorty!"
'What? No! I-I didn't say that!'

The fillie gallops off crying, and PF began to laugh.

Bonfire, who was over at his stand, noticed the scene that Pathfinder had done. He hesitantly cantered over and engaged him. "Hey, professor? Everything okay?"  

[Fenrir Shade]

'Um, I don't know my friend. I have no idea what came over me.'
"Ah, piss off! Mind yer own business you Twerp!"
'What?! That is not what I said! What is going on?!'

PF purposefully slams into Bonfire, sending him sprawling to the ground.

Bonfire was generally shocked. He quickly rolled to his hooves and glared at the professor. "Hey! What was that for?!" He shouted.  

[Fenrir Shade]

'Haha! I love wreaking chaos!'
'Wh-who are you?! And why are you controlling me?!'
'Oh, you know, a fun loving friend.'

"Cause your face pisses me off you pile of-" a wagon conveniently rolls by, canceling out the choice word that PF chose. He continues to walk away, shoving over another pony.  

[The Jolly Victini]

"Tch! I don't know what parasprite bit him in the butt today, but if he's gonna act like this, then he isn't worth my time!" Bonfire said to himself as he huffed back to his stand.
