"Sounds like a big one, maybe a Gigas, double or solo?" Ryo asked, knowing full well that there was a Shadow nearby.
"I'll take this one, then you can explain to her." Remy said with a sigh and got up. "Come on, we'll show you what we're talking about." Remy said cheerily.

"C-can I just stay here..?", Azekah asks. Though she's standing and looking in the direction the sound had come from, curiosity mixed with her fear.

For the moment being, unaware that any violence elsewhere - let alone anything of significance - was occuring, Harriet hummed a merry tune to herself as she tended to the plants at the shop in which she worked. It was a slow day, and all employees were expected to take special care of the merchandise. All three of them, the sheepish red-headed Harriet included. Although her eyes held a slightly mopey look to them, she seemed cheerful and oblivious enough amidst the scent and presence of the many flowers and ferns that surrounded her.

Akihime stepped off of the train, and began to walk towards the mall to begin her work day. She shivered slightly having a pretty bad feeling.

Ryo said cheerily, dragging the writer out the door to the scene below them on the ground. They would see Remy holding his book and then they would notice a rather muscular being, easily twice the size of Remy, wearing a blue mask with long, flowing hair behind it. Almost if Hulk Hogan became a masked wrestler."Now this is where things get interesting, or scary, I don't remember which." Remy said as the Gigas charged him, preparing to slam its massive fist into Remy. "Come! Orpheus!" Remy shouted, the fist getting deflected as a new being appeared. "Oh, it is on now." Remy said with a grin as he snapped his book shut and Orpheus began to attack, eventually defeating the Shadow with little collateral damage to the area.

Azekah watched the quick fight in shocked silence. "And that book tells you that I can help you fight those things..?", she asks.

After which we work on getting you prepared, I actually know a place where the weaker Shadows appear, that'll be the perfect place for you to summon a Persona. After that it's all downhill." Ryo said cheerily as he grabbed a cigarette and lit it, taking a long drag before exhaling. It had been a while since Ryo had seen Orpheus, but Remy was no slouch at all.

"If you say it like that you'll never get anyone to help you.", the writer remarks. She seems to have an internal debate with herself for a moment before asking, "How do you summon these 'Persona' things and what are they..?"

"A Persona is a manifestation of one's inner being. It's like a shield, there to face the things that you yourself cannot. Though, to awaken it, we need you to fight a Shadow." Remy explained sheepishly. He hoped that Azekah was up to the challenge, otherwise it would be another long trip to try the next person.

"Assuming the magic book that led us to you is mistaken then we will step in and defeat the Shadow instead." Remy said cheerily. It wasn't like Azekah was going to die, she could get hurt or something, but not die, not while Remy and Ryo were there.

Azekah frowns and looks down at the gun she was still carrying. "The sooner we get going, the sooner you will be proved wrong and the sooner you'll leave me alone.", she finally says after several more moments of contemplation. It was obvious that she didn't believe that the book was correct about her.
