Maylee didn't have the heart to tell this woman that her mother brought this upon herself. She had the adequate treatment. The best the triplets could afford; but their mom found no reason to get better. It wasn't her just her body that was giving up, it was her mind too. Maylee looked at the woman as she held something out to her. With her free hand, Maylee took the picture. She took in a breath that was shaky as she realized it was a picture of the family. Maylee smiled. "I haven't seen this in years." All three of the triplets had blue eyes, they were smiling, and their mother was healthy, their father alive and grinning like an idiot.

Maylee looked up from the picture as the woman handed a brush to her. She sat the picture under her hand and her mother's before taking the brush. "Oh..um..thanks." She mumbled before brushing her mother's hair carefully. Her mother kept grasp on her hand and calmly allowing her daughter to brush her hair.


"Mess with my Onii-chans, and I will burn you alive."

Miyuki eyed the grey haired shinobi that had spoken to her. She wasn't necessarily asking her for anything and felt slightly bothered by the fact that she was letting her know something that if true, would have found on her own. Although, I guess she did understand her motives. Focusing her attention on the onyx haired female which she now knew by the name of Jun, she listened as Jun spoke and awaited for her to finish before she began to respond to any of her questions. As she began recollecting what she had seen earlier she began to respond to Jun. "Well, with what I have seen it seems that the Kyuubi has been released and that is all I can pretty much inform you of.. I'm not sure what the current situation is besides the face that the villagers and Genin are supposed to stay here in the Monument. Hence, this is why I'm here." Miyuki got up from the spot where she was sitting and strode towards the opening where the stairs to go back into the village were. She looked out towards the area of where the Gates currently resided and saw that a very long wall that seemed to be made up of Rocky-Earthy texture had been formed. With this she called back to Jun thinking that she might want to look at the interesting sight."It looks like someone has created a barrier around the front of the village." She said this calmly but in a way that her voice showed a hint of enthusiasm. She had never seen something quite as interesting as this. Her day has been full of so many new experiences that in a way seemed exciting and interesting but in others seemed so overwhelming that she didn't know how she was going to let everything sink in. Resting against the railing of the stairs she decided to enjoy the little things of nature that seemed to stand out and hoped that soon enough all of this chaos would be over.

Kyuubi... she'd heard stories of tailed demons, but who would of thought one would come and attack Konoha? She supposed it was good that the genin were being kept somewhere safe. After all, what could they really do against something like a Kyuubi? But sitting around and waiting made her feel lazy. Not commenting on the other noticing a barrier, Jun said "Mm... I dunno, shouldn't we be helping in some way anyway? It seems like it'll get boring waiting around." Yawning softly, she leaned back against the wall and listened to what was going on outside.

Miyuki eyed the female. "Anything we could do?" She asked questioningly. It was highly impossible for them to do anything, this is where they were supposed to be along with other Genin and the villagers and no matter what circumstances they should not leave unless directed other wise. " Jun, I don't think that is quite safe, since we were told that this is where we are supposed to reside along with the villagers I think it's where we should stay put instead of ending up causing more problems" Miyuki spoke with a serious and firm face.

Koan arrived at the mountain rather quickly and without even having the slightest regard for conformity or rank jumped up onto the side of the monument calling out to all the genin in the area, " I need all combat ready genin in the area to come with me." As she spoke a small scent reached her nose, climbing up the rest of the monument she saw the source. A large swath of the apartments had caught fire. Damnit. What was going on over there. The fighting was by the gates, how did they get in over there. She turned quickly sliding down the back of the head and down where the rest of the civilians and shinobi were. She called out once more," If your courage has left you, then stay here, the rest of you with me. We are going to defend our home." As she spoke one by one shinobi she knew not would rise one after the other choosing to stand and fight rather than hide and die. She smiled as she continued," I know most of us are genin and not very experienced, but we have to fight, we have to try, I for one will not let this go on without a fight. The higher ups want us to stay here, to hide while our sensei's fight and die. This is unacceptable, we all took an oath to defend this village with our lives and I intend to make good upon my oath." It was odd, she had never once spoken before in public yet in that instant she had the eye of the entire crowd. When she jumped down the crowd began to cheer as the shinobi fell in behind her.

Maylee looked at the Genin girl that spoke up. She had a point. Maylee stood and held a weak yank on her hand. She looked down at her mother, whom was staring up at her. "Mom..." Maylee knelt beside her mother and smiled. "Samuru is fighting. I maybe weak, but I did oath my duty to protect this village." She lowered her head cloaking her eyes. "That Genin is right. And besides. I'm a Sanmiitai, I'm all in for a good fight." She told her mom before tapping her hand and standing. Maylee looked at the woman that was with her mother. "Look after her for...Samuru." She asked the woman before taking several strides and running after the girl that stood up.

As the girl collected her bravado and joined the rag tag group of Genin into the fray, Sae clutched the small juice boxes to her chest. Initially she had brought three but one would go to waste. As the female sibling departed, Sae nodded her head once. She had already been asked to watch her by Samuru and she hadn't stopped. She kept a respectable distance of privacy away from the two but was close enough to intervene should the mother Sanmiitai need it. Settling in the now unoccupied chair, Sae poked a hole into juice box and held it to the mother's lips. "We are going to need this sugar rush to stay up and pray and worry for our reckless children..." She grumbled, attempting to coax some of the liquid treat down the immobile woman's lips and throat.

Causing them problems? They were genin, sure, but they were still shinobi of this village. If all of the other shinobi were going handle the big problems, then they had to work to put out the little problems, right? Before she could give a rebuttal though, another shinobi came in and called all battle ready shinobi to fight. Considering how her last fight went, Jun wasn't much interested in fighting again just yet, but it did give her a point to make.

"It looks like we genin are needed out there after all." replied Jun, groaning and popping her back before standing up. "We're still shinobi. If we feel we can handle ourselves, then we should go out and help with the smaller things. But if you wanna stay here, that's cool too. I'll see you later." Giving a nod to Miyuki, she headed out back towards the village to see if there were people missed who needed help.

Miyuki thought back on her words as soon as Jun left to help out somewhere in the village. Maybe she said something with out thinking. "Tch." She paused and began to think to herself once again. 'What was I thinking? Just because we are genin doesn't mean there is nothing we could do. I guess my issue is that I rather train before I go out in the open..there are so many possibilities and I have to be prepared for each one.' Miyuki stopped her thought process there and began to pace back and fourth. She didn't want to stay put in the monument any longer, so she decided it was time to maybe drift off into the training are where maybe she could get some sort of training in.
Walking towards the exit. She began to descend down the stairs and once she reached the bottom she began to walk towards the direction of the Academy.

Sin Indulged by Desire

Accepting the juice while her eyes stayed on Maylee, the mother of the triplets seemed to not notice anything going on. Some juice slipped from the side of her mouth but most of it made it in before she seemed to pull away, her head turning slightly so the straw slipped out. She didn't seem to be fully there and yet...there was a spark to her eyes as she focused on the woman who was watching her. Her dark hair had grown so long that it came nearly to her rear, loose and thin, her pale skin illuminating the bones beneath, so slender was she. Her nails were carefully trimmed but broken at some ends where she'd ripped into her chair or one of the sibling's arms. Her eyes were a light brown with some hint of the red that engulfed her children's eyes. She seemed to want to say something....but her lips didn't move or respond and she just stared.

Maylee walked into the safety confines of the monument. Bleeding from practically every inch of her skin, her sweatshirt and shorts torn from the glass window she was thrown through. She held her left eye shut as a cut bleed above it. Her stomach hurt from the armored knee that was thrown into it. This fight proved she wasn't ready for battle. She wobbled a bit before sitting next to her mother, Maylee placed her sleeve against her mouth and coughed. Blood painted the fibers as she waited her medical attention. She rather be here then helping defend those that left her. Her hatred for the Kage grew a little more intense then before. Specs of red returned to the young Sanmiitai's eyes. She hated this village and sought it's destruction even more after this attack.

She could see her daughter in the crowd but her lips remained closed, her eyes merely staring vacantly. She knew everything....everything her daughter said to her, said about her when she was around her....she'd heard the venom spilling from May's mouth when that boy had come, had even heard what had gone on after wards. But...there was no way for her to reply, no way for her to make herself known,. Her eyes drifted closed, not out of exhaustion but out of disappointment, out of despair that she was only now able to understand what was going on around her. What atrocities had occurred in her house while her mind was away? And even now, her body refused to let her act on her newly found thoughts.

"It's all gone..." Maylee spoke to her mother. "Everything. Our home, the memories, and of dad's stuff..." Maylee's voice trembled a little at the thought that everything that was her dad's was now lost in the ruble of what uses to be the apartment building. She thought of the pain in her chest. It wasn't normal, something was terribly wrong. Maylee tried to focus on the connection that held her to her brothers. She could still feel Rakuin, but Samuru... Maylee looked around and the world felt a little less bright. Samuru's connection was no longer intact to hers. How to tell the woman that sat next to her that her eldest was...dead.

Maylee lowered her head. "I'm not strong. I'm a screw up." She kept hold of her busted nose. "I'm worthless to the Sanmiitai name." She fell quiet for a moment. "I should of just died out there. I can't even do anything right in your eyes." She pointed the icy words at her mother. Anything Maylee did, it pushed Samuru away from her, angered her mother to the point of abuse, and worse of all it got her father killed. "You wouldn't even care if I had died out there." She breathed at her mother as blood dripped from her nose and mouth.

Having heard something that sounded like news about her daughter, Sae had gotten up off of her seat and had tried to figure out what was going on. Returning empty handed she was surprised to find the Sanmiitai daughter had returned. Sae caught the last parts of the childs words. "You need to leave, Miss Sanmiitai. Now." Her red eyed gaze met the girls blue tones sharply. Sae had promised Samuru she would watch over his mother. If it was from her own children so be it.

Maylee looked at the woman, blood dripped as she stared harshly at the woman. "And go where?" She barked at the woman. "If you haven't noticed, lady. The village is under attack. I'm bleeding for trying to save the apartments. People are either dying or dead for trying to save the village at the gates." Blood dripped from her fingertips. "There's nowhere else to go that is safe." Her stare harden at the woman. Maylee sat back and refused to leave. At this point, Maylee was the last thing her mother had. Even though their relationship wasn't smooth, Maylee still tried; even if it blow up in her face at the end. "Not every parent treats their children with kindness, lady." She hissed at the woman. "At least I still stand by her in this state, even though I hate her for what she's done to me." Her eyes narrowed. "She's still my mother."
