"Really? Why's that?" Molly asked Lex.
Penny heard the others and saw Kai run off. She looked down sadly and hurried up to catch up to the others. She felt like she was making a mess of things so she decided to stay behind a bit.

Amia groaned slightly as she looked at the dummies. "Okay, but I'm better when somethings trying to fight back. Hitting a bunch of dummies..." She trailed off as she shook her head. Her fighting style was hand to hand, involving shifting into her lioness form and back in a graceful sweep of motion. She'd gotten that from her mother, but she used it as more of a defense..where Amia used it to fight. All it would look like with these dummies were a boring fit of punches. She turned to Mr Shade. "Can I just fight you? As long as you promise not to smash my face in the floor?" Her brows lifted, hoping he would agree.

Shane watched Kai leave and snorted then watched the lioness. Jack looked at her and smirked "punch that dummy right there" he pointed to the one in the center

Is whether they use a human shield or make themselves one.

With a sigh, Amia bunched her fists and walked up to the stupid dummy. She looked back at them all watching her, shrugged knowing it wasn't going to be any good, and punched it using as much force as she could..which wasn't much. Physical power wasn't her strong point and she knew it. Her father was sure to make it known how pathetic her puny strength was when she was little. Without a word, she turned to them all and crossed her arms with a shrug. More of a I-told-you-so look masked on her face.
Will watched the blonde as she made a weak attempt to punch the dummy and snorted with how bad it sucked. Again, she couldn't speak though. Hand to hand combat wasn't her best either. Her's was far rang with knives and daggers and swords.

Amil  With Penny running off, no sign of acknowledgement, she sighed and followed after and moved up behind Kai to perch herself upon his right shoulder to watch the lioness punch the dummy at Shane's command. Amil normally got away with perching herself wherever except Jack, that was a definite. It wasn't so much Jack, but rather Shane. Most students, it varied, but she figured Kai would be alright or maybe not even feel her. She was small enough, she weight just around a pound, if not less, it was a depressing thought though the lessons being given ahead kept her mind from him.I reach out to pull you closer, but just then

Looking over at his shoulder as something landed on it Kai showed a small smile as he saw Amil. Reaching up he pat the little creature on it's head again. He was at ease atleast finding something that seemed to like him. Looking back towards the spar with the dummies it didn't seem like there was much of a point to it from what he could see. Eventually he would have to show his own fighting he thought and a small cringe ran up him. What would the other's think if he did show his abilities.

Both Shane and Jack smiled as Amia suddenly recieved a blow from behind the back of her head and wasn't gentle.

In a split, angry second Amia heard the slight shift in the air but it hadn't registered in her head that it was anything coming at her. She hadn't expected that from a school like this at all, so she let her guard down. The last thing she saw was the teachers lips pull up in a smirk when something hit her dead in the back of her head. She felt the shock of pain throughout her whole body as she fell forward to her knees with a short, small yelp and threw her hand to her head an instant later. The Lioness sat there for a moment in complete silence as the pain echoed out with each heart beat. It was how she dealt with terrible unexpected pain; silence. When it began to cease she looked up at them through the partial hair that fell around her face and glared at the teacher with a short, small lived hatred. At that moment, she almost lunged at him, ready to take HIM out..almost. Without a word she stood back up and walked a few feet away with her eyes shooting back and forth, tuning her hearing in on every disturbance in the air, and keeping both hands on her head as if it would stop the throbbing.
Will watched as she took a pretty hard blow straight to the back of her head and cringed for her. Now she was really glad she hadn't gone up first; she would've made the same mistake in thinking it was nothing more than a bag to punch, basically. Will had to admit, though, the girl had taken it a lot better than she would've.

"Well thanks for demonstrating for us, Ms... as you can see these, dummies have been made to no only take a punch but return it twice as hard at you, its up to your style whether to dodge, counter it, or even take on the hit like a champ, its up to you, now then, it goes without saying that our lioness hear is just as prideful as the as expected." He looked at her "Would you care to try again now or later after you licked your wounds?"

"I told you not to stay up watching those stupid movies and look what happens! You're late for your first class on your first day of the school year!! If I didn't drag you out of bed, you would have slept all day!" An orange cat shouted as he ran next to a young girl.
The young girl, Koyuki, motioned for him to be quiet. 'Shut it, Yu! Before a teacher finds us. With any luck, we can sneak into class without anyone noticing.' she told him telepathically as they soon reached a door that lead to the gym. Looking in through the window, she tried to find the teacher and time it just right to slip in quietly and join the others.

Penny gasped as she ran over to Amia after she got hit. She didn't know about animals in pain and how they would react, but she wanted to help. "Are you alright?" she asked as she placed a hand on her shoulder.
(if you want will give you permission to lash out at her out of pain. i wanna show Penny's healing abilities.)

Amia stared up at him for a moment. The pain pulsing in the back of her head had died down a little along with the anger that raged inside her. She looked at the girl and nodded shortly, refusing to speak with the pain. She'd end up freaking out on somebody if she did.

A scowl formed on Kai's face as he stood there towards the back watching this teachers treatment of a student that had likely just gotten injured. This man didn't care about them it seemed. Why was he allowed to teach. Why was no one taking a stand against him he wondered as he looked down at his hand. He wanted to but he knew he couldn't do it. He didn't want to be like this seeming so weak. He wanted to be like his parents strong in the face of adversity but he didn't know how to become like that.
