Lumikki had been so annoyed with Rosciel that she was still fuming by the time her classmates started to move. Peaking up she noticed her rather annoying seatmate coming back. Oh jack what had she missed. Frowning she stood up and glanced at Rosciel's box he seemed to have some small assortment of items. Wandering up to the boxes she looked at each of them carefully.

The first box she was familiar with. Bandages and guaze, she'd come back to those. Box two had some of those gels she had used in her open class. Picking up the small bottle of antiseptic, and the package or ointments. She moved to another box determined to ask a question before pulling something else out of that box.

The third box was bypased entirely as she saw pretty bottles. Picking up the gold and the black potion bottles she turned to ask a question of the professor.

"What is that Aloe...Vera? In the second box?'
demon_pachabel
is the aloe vera in the second box in plant form?

Waiting on an answer she glanced in to the box nearest to her. Smiling she knew these items. Why they needed them was beyond her but she knew them picking up a flashlight, the medical sheers, and the hot glue gun it just seemed like it would be useful longer. So now she just needed things from the first box, the third box and the sixth. And possibly another one from the second box.

Cricket picked up a small bottle, shaking it carefully. "Normally the plant itself would be better suited to this, but it would not keep well in terms of moisture inside of a kit like this."

Roch headed for the table, glancing at Cricket hesitantly before he started picking things up seemingly by random. But he'd been in enough wars to know some of this stuff would be useful--especially the flashlight, he thought dryly, remembering his time during the trials in the black pit with the spikes. He tossed all of his things into the small case and headed back to his chair.

Quote:
Roch
- Box of Bandages (varied sizes, contains 20 self-adhesive bandages)
Gauze Roll (large)
Small bottles of antiseptic (which come with swabs)
packaged ointment packets (come in sets of 10)
aloe vera
A FEAR injection pen (similar to en Epipen IRL. Comes in sets of 2)
Fast acting cold packs (sets of 3)
Space blanket (Dad, are you space?)
- The Red Potion - it smells sweet. Cricket says it works best topically.. which means don't drink it.
The Purple Potion - It doesn't seem like it does anything, but Cricket suggests you don't dump it on any undeads outside of Halloween unless you want to see something particularly scarring.
- The Black Potion - this doesn't look safe at all, and Cricket just smiles when you ask about it.
Medical Tape
A hot glue gun that seems to run on FEAR (ouch)
flashlight
A syringe that is capped and has a thick orange liquid in it. Cricket seems hesitant to be giving it out to the students, but....

Terra, on the other hand, spent what seemed like hours staring at the various items, trying to figure out what needed to be in her pouch. She even picked up things, then put the down again, and picked them up again, then started to put them down--

It was an agonizingly long time before she had her pack and was heading back to her seat as well.

Medical Sheers (AKA SCISSORS)
- Medical Tape
flashlight
A piece of chalk.

Malodore leaned forward a bit as Cricket began to speak - ah, yes, it did remember that chalk. The idea of putting a kit together, well... it was like Christmastival, except with fewer elves and JOY. Just regular-flavor joy here, not the all-caps variety.

It sat for some time and pondered the items in the boxes before making its selections, grateful that its mentoring with Cricket allowed it a bit more choice. It would have been so difficult to only select fifteen items! A number of the items it already had, particularly bandages for its own use, but putting together a complete kit could be very important... hm...

Quote:

Malodore's First Aid Kit
1. Piece of Chalk
2. FEAR Injection Pens
3. Packaged Antiseptic Wipes
4. Packaged Ointment Packets
5. Tube of Anti-Burn Gel
6. Gauze Pad x 5, Large
7. Gauze Pad x 5, Medium
8. Box of Bandages
9. Gauze Roll, Large
10. Space Blanket
11. Fast-Acting Cold Packs
12. Bag of Saline
13. Red Potion
14. Blue Potion
15. Gold Potion
16. Black Potion
17. Medical Shears
18. Medical Tape
19. Pen Light
20. Thermometer

Yes, it was definitely satisfied with this. True, it would have liked to take every single item, but it tried to make up for it by not including items like tweezers, which it always carried with it anyway, in favor of items that might be more difficult for it to obtain. The potions were particularly interesting, though it had left that one potion alone...

Lumikki nodded happily she still had no idea what Aloe Vera was but she heard the word plant. And after dealing with plants for her exam she knew they could be useful. Walking back to box two she picked up the small bottle of Aloe Vera and carefully held with with her other items. Now she was a little short still but she seemed to be a bit short on hands too. Taking what she had back to her desk she went back to grab the rest.

Going back to box one she grabbed a large Gauze roll, a box of bandages, and the gauze pads. She figured that she already picked up the sheers she might as well have something that would come in handy if someone was bleeding. Wandering to the third box she looked in and carefully decided on the Space blanket, the cold packs, and she finally decided on the FEAR pen. Granted she really didn't know anything about the FEAR pen but she knew that a blanket was good when it was cold and a cold pack was good when it was hot. See she learned something in that open class with those heat stroked dummies.

She came to the last box, the contents were interesting to say the least. Her tails swayed back and forth as she tried to decide what to get. Finally taking a piece of chalk she figured that she had seen Rosc take a piece and he'd been in a class before it couldn't hurt to have it. Finally happy with all her items she went back to her desk.

What was she going to put these in...

Sitting at her seat she looked at Rosciel and then the other students. Okay she clearly must have missed something. And she already asked the professor a question, frowning she had to ask him and so help her if he called her nosey she had sharper objects then a quill now.

"...uhm...where did you get the pouch...."

Sure that was easy enough right? But...just in case she held the sheers a little closer.

Rosc looked up from his work when Lumi addressed him again. So far, he’d gotten the less likely items into his kit, the blanket and the cold packs, the burn gel. But now it was a matter of organizing the rest of it. The potions would certainly need to go in one compartment, probably with the antiseptic bottle as well…
Ah, but the ghoul had a question.

His head tilted up from where he was leaning over his desk, rather than sitting down, a stance that made his work easier.
Where did he…?
Apparently she hadn’t been paying attention.
His brow furrowed for a moment before he waved a hand at the box that had contained the kit-boxes.
"They’re in that box," he replied, his words a little off-handed but at least he answered her question without making any extra comments or snark. Really, he was too focused for that. As much as he could easily look like a slacker in some classes, when he was actually interested in something he was quite obviously focused on his work.

Oh, it was the same professor! AJ was happy to see the same teacher that he saw in the first aid open class. He noticed that, from the teacher's tone, it seemed that she wasn't really happy with the low attendance. Well, first aid might not be an interesting topic, but it was surely useful. First, she brought several boxes out and then continued with her class. AJ and other students were asked to build their own first-aid kit, cool enough!

The amphisbaena left his seat and walked towards the boxes. They were already packed with students who were choosing their supplies. Well, he decided to take a general look of all the supplies before really picking them up. He can't pick everything and the kit neeed to be closed. Um. The first box is mainly bandages and gauze of various sizes. He moved to the second and found they were for topical-skin treatments. How about the third one? AJ wasn't sure how some of the items can be used, he saw eyepatch and a space blanket in it? He moved on to the next box with a big question. In the box, there were vials of liquids, probably potions of five different colors, red, blue, gold, purple and black. AJ wonder what functions they had. The fifth box held with some normal medical stuff while the last one, he wasn't sure again. He even saw some centipedes moving in it. Supplies?

After careful consideration, AJ finally decided to take what supplies into his own kit. From the sixth box, he avoided the centipedes and picked up a piece of chalk, thinking it's kinda odd for it to be there. A pen light? Good for viewing details. He also picked the tweezers and the Thermometer from the fifth box. AJ usually saw these two items in a first-aid kit and thought they should be important. Now the potions, of course he will pick the red one, it's his favourite color. The boil wasn't sure which potions to take, but he got the feeling that they could be very useful. As they were allowed to take up to three from each box, he grabbed two more, the gold and black from the box. Okay, move on! AJ recalled that the teacher advised them to make as much variety as possible, after all they won't know what problem they would encounter. He looked at the supplies again and picked up an injection pen, cold packs and a blanket. AJ knew that FEAR can be quite versatile in use, so it was a good choice. The packs can be used to lower body temperature, like fever while the blanket can keep warmth. Two more boxes to go. He quickly picked the all-purpose aloe vera, no doubt for that. He used it a lot when he got injuries from street fighting. AJ also grabbed some antiseptic and ointment packets. He learnt from the open class that sterilization is important for avoiding wound inflammation and the ointment can be used for eye-washing. Varied enough, huh? Finally, he got a medium size gauze rolland ace bandage. In case of broken bone, the ace can be for fixation and gauze was generally useful for wound wrapping.

AJ was satisfied and brought the supplies back to his seat. He was interested in knowing what the potions can do.

1. Gauze Roll (medium)
2. Ace Bandage (medium)

3. Small bottles of antiseptic (which come with swabs)

Making one's own first aid kit was vastly preferable than . . . the other class. Hopefully that same luck was still around, though, as Mort was in short enough supply as it was. The zomboil took his sweet time plucking items from the boxes, assorting them with almost paternal care into the kit. Every little thing counted after all.

. . . They weren't going to test these things out on classmates, were they? Oh Jack. Mort threaded his hands together and watched the glowing little centipedes in the waiting interim.

First Aid Kit
1. Gauze pad x 5 (large)
2. Box of Bandages (varied sizes, contains 20 self-adhesive bandages)
3. Gauze Roll (medium)
4. packaged antiseptic wipes (come in sets of 10)
5. aloe vera
6. A FEAR injection pen (similar to en Epipen IRL. Comes in sets of 2)
7. Space blanket
8. Fast acting cold packs (sets of 3)
9. Red Potion
10. Gold Potion
11. Black Potion
12. Medical Sheers
13. Medical Tape
14. Thermometer
15. Cricket's own glowing 'centipedes'. They look to be 'babies', would be your guess. If you take them be careful. (You only get three. O_O)

Lumikki winced, but at least he responded. Nodding her head slightly to him she got up one last time to get a pack to put all the items in. Heading back to her a seat a third time she stood looking at the pouch and the items. Frowning she wondered how she was going to get all this in there. Very slowly she started to place items in the kit one by one. Removing things when they didn't fit properly and trying again.

This was a lot harder then some of the other students had made it seem. Her tails completely still for once and her ears twitching as she tried to listen in case the professor talked again she wasn't going to miss the information this time.

Back at the table, Terra was staring at Roch as he played with his hot glue gun. She had a very good idea of why it would be in a pack like this, but Roch was not a skeleton--

"You have many undead friends?" she asked hesitantly.

"Some," Roch said. "Why y'ask?"

"Because I believe that is for them," she said slowly, watching closely as he pulled the trigger. Something oozed out of the nozzle, and he stopped pulling, raising an eyebrow.

"Nah. Sometimes y'just don't got time for all the wrappin' and stuff," Roch said. "I can think of a ton of times I woulda LOVED t'have this."

Terra stared at him with a hint of horror. Her new hermano was insane.

Tomoko looked a bit overwhelmed at all of the freedom she.was given in this new task. In fact, she was standing at the front of the room looking through the boxes with an anxious look on her face, shifting through the contents of them, hmmmming and ummmming and generally at a loss.

Noticing Thackery was in this 'class' as well, Tomoko waved at him furiously and mouthed a 'help' to him.

As the Nurse finished her speech Yin waited for the students to start to fill their kits before joining, claws reaching out to lightly touch items. Despite being told to assemble a kit it was almost as if he was afraid to take anything. All of these supplies for students to take.

When it came to bandages...he went for the mediums. In everything. You could always overwrap a wound, and if it was that tiny...well it should not need a bandage. And larger wounds could always just use up two bandages so medium was the obvious way to go (in his eye). Many of the other choices were simply in the interest of getting a full but varied pack. A couple, such as the eyepatch and not taking the potion that was harmful to the undead, were influenced by Alexander, but there were enough supplies to choose from that he did not feel bad over skipping over it.

The last box was the easiest. Nurse Cricket's bugs? He seemed almost shy taking them, but happy nonetheless, and then he approached her.

Dis last bit right hurr

"Um, excuse me Nurse Cricket?" He asked, ducking his head down a bit sheepishly and holding out the bag of saline. "I am not positive as to what this is for?" Which, he had already put it in his kit mentally, but it would still be nice to know.

First Aid Kit~
- Gauze pad x 5 (medium)
- Box of Bandages (varied sizes, contains 20 self-adhesive bandages)
- Gauze Roll (medium)
- Ace Bandage (medium)
- packaged antiseptic wipes (come in sets of 10)
- packaged ointment packets (come in sets of 10)
- tube of anti-burn gel
- an eye patch (Only 1. If you use 2 you turn into a foxfire)
- A FEAR injection pen (similar to en Epipen IRL. Comes in sets of 2)
- A bag of saline (Might need to ask Cricket how to use this one!)
- Space blanket (Dad, are you space?)
- The Red Potion - it smells sweet. Cricket says it works best topically.. which means don't drink it.
- The Blue Potion - it doesn't smell like anything. Cricket says that may be ingested, but whoever drinks it might not like bringing up everything they just ate up in a few hours...
- The Gold Potion - Cricket takes a small sip of it. 'It is particularly good against internal infections', she explains. Wait..what?
- The Black Potion - this doesn't look safe at all, and Cricket just smiles when you ask about it.
- Medical Tape
- A hot glue gun that seems to run on FEAR (ouch)

For a few tense seconds, Thackery just stared at Tomoko, holding one of the supplies he'd picked up to inspect. She wanted help? She was giving him a kitsune task?!

He dropped the item back into the pile and hurried over to her with a smile.

"Whatcha need?" And then, a little more hushed, "It's okay, I don't know a whole lot about this stuff either. I kinda like my job being protecting, not fixing up after protecting didn't work."

Cricket had a rather strange look on her face, a mix between curiosity and annoyance as she watched the students. Why that was would become clear soon enough, however.

When Yin spoke up, the nurse looked to him. "Saline can be used both as a cleaner for wounds, as well as to flush fluid through the body. It is very handy to have." She answered calmly, before getting up and walking to the sixth box she'd set out, reaching in and pulling out two items - a piece of chalk, and the syringe of orange liquid.

"Here is a question for everybody: what do these do?"
