"Personally, I"d prefer either Khan or Caesar, but that's just me." Hemo said simply and without warning darted forward at Coil, sending a punch towards him while his leg would be used for a sweep should he dodge, and if he chose to take to the air to avoid getting hurt, then the Barbus Assassin would need to think of some other way to hurt him.

"... Can either of you spare a $20?." Armand#1 asked from behind his scarf, after the door had been slammed shut. They had lost the bet, and One was not a financially stable clone. The original, in the costume of The Gent, stared at the blank door, unresponsive. So many scenarios passed through his head, so many possibilities, but most of all so many accusations; even though they had to, it was still unsettling they had to force this on her.
Then, in the blink of an eye, Armand was pulled inside, and Five and One stared at the door; stupified. The Gent stared at the young Lady Kyle with surprise, and hopefulness. His mouth turned from delightful shock to a kind smile. He almost opened his mouth to speak, but then halted, and lifted his hand to his hood instead. The Gent lowered the hood, and took of his mask, and his face was revealed to be the exact same of the men outside the door.
It had been too long. Her father... He would have loved to see this girl so grown up; Armand thought, lost in nostalgia. He closed his eyes and shook his head, clearing the foggy past from his mind. It was time to focus on the future. First, introductions. Armand bowed low again. "I am Armand Castle, but to all members; The Gent, and I do not burden myself with ... Flunkies." He smiled at the use of that rare term. "There is no one here to see you, but for myself." In short, the men outside, were also ... Him. Armand adjusted his posture and raised his chin ever so lightly, to look more proud for this next bit. "After tracking down numerous others to either ruins or to graveyards, I come to you in desperation, Phoebe Kyle. My purpose here is the purpose of what we have both once before stood for; for we may be all that remains of Verone's legendary League of Heroes." A bit too much? The criticism crossed his head. There was a window in this room. Unless she opened the door to throw him out, he expected she'd try to shove him out of that. Maybe, just maybe; she could be convinced. Armand's bright green eyes begged for that as they pierced into Phoebe's own orbs.

Coil grinned as the man got closer, a plan of attack trying to form in his head, unfortunately Coil wasn't good with these kinds of situations. Before the man struck him, Coil vanished leaving a trail of sparks behind him. "Gonna have to do better then that" he called out to the man, he appeared on the other end of the building "if that's all you have to offer I'd rather not stick around any longer" he stepped closer to the edge preparing to jump off.

Rather than let Coil get away, Hemo opted to cut his thumb on his sword, drawing the blade a little then immediately sheathing it. Once the blood began to flow, he swung his arm, sending hardened blood spikes to attack Coil. The good thing was that if he missed, he could redirect them, assuming he acted fast enough.

Lilith eventually grew bored of watching the senseless violence from afar, figuring that things weren't about to come to a halt any time soon. As if on que, an old friend of her's called with an offer she couldn't refuse. Turns out that with all the destruction those villainous idiots were causing, they were leaving behind plenty of ruins and damaged cars. The ruins she didn't care so much about, but the damaged cars could be turned into scrap metal - which was pretty much all her friend did to make a real living these days. Without a decent/permanent lab Lilith couldn't create the wonderful weapons or robots that she used to, but she could do easy time-passing projects for whenever some ridiculous battle between Animus and Barbus prevented her from leaving home. She was quick to retrieve and tidy up her wig, donning the 'Candi' disguise once more before bursting out the door - her pretty little head filled to the brim with hopes and dreams of actually having something decent to do for once. She headed down the long flights of stairs, unable to stand the thought of waiting half an hour for an elevator, heading straight for the city streets. Her friend's abode was within walking distance, and she thought she knew enough pathways to avoid getting caught in the middle of any fighting stragglers from the battle in the distance if she were careful enough.

"woah!" Coil yelled when he saw the spike fly by his face, he stepped to the side avoiding any other spikes "well, looks like things got a bit more interesting" his hands began to turn a dark red, sparks shooting wildly around him.

"Now let's look at a battle up above. Camera 8, please~!" Ace Chrome with the same haughty and sassy attitude as the one she possessed during the beginning of this 'broadcast'. "Go Coil~! Go get 'im! DO IT FOR THE FAN GIRLS!", she cried out passionately while the camera zoomed in on Coil's face. Well, maybe the guy had looks but come on. How many fan girls would be interested in treacherous, chaotic, damaged villains? Oh wait. There's one right now. Silly Chrome... While the name VoltEdge had already reached urban legend status in Verone, all that's known of said character was the bright red hair and the hand that held lightning within it. No one who had encountered VoltEdge had lived to tell the tale of who and what exactly it was that they met before reaching their respective demise. VoltEdge looked intently upon Severina, casting her eyes upon the girl from its initial focus of the lightning power source from the top of a tower. Curiosity struck her. She tilted her head slightly and held her hand out to the girl. It looked like an offer of friendship -- of offering one's hand. But VoltEdge had lived most if not all the years of her life in relative isolation. She was not very familiar with social codes and the like. Her hand was covered in a faint glow once again before large bursts of lightning going in multiple directions shot out from her her hand. Well, it's been several times now but VoltEdge can't seem to get the connection between shooting electricity and the people she was trying to 'talk' to suddenly collapsing. Perhaps, this time it will be... Different? Maybe?

Hemo swiped his hand back, bringing the spikes charging back towards Coil. However, he knew it wasn't likely to work so he decided to draw his sword and dash in, using more of his blood to clear his way through the sparks so he could slice the lightning user.

Coil turned, using a quick strike he shot away the loghtning spikes still flying at him "that's a nice trick..." He said before seeing Hemo dashing at him, he wasn't going to make it too easy. He began firing stronger bolts of lightning at the man, each bolt coming at him from different directions.

Jake simply stared at the girl for a second. It was a pretty sudden departure after all. But his curiousity over what this "prank" would be got the better of him. After all, it wasn't like the ending of the battle happening from down below was much of a mystery, a tie with casualties on both sides. He turned into his shadow form and followed the girl as fast as he could. He had some trouble keeping up with her, but he managed to lengthen her shadow just long enough so that he would be able to know where she was at all times. Wait, he thought to himself, what if she was simply suggesting I do a prank instead of asking if I would help her with one? Though he quickly dismissed the thought after it was formed, he didn't really care either way.

Serene knew about VoltEdge. Similar to her being called the ghost or witch of the library, VoltEdge is a urban legend. From most of conversations she overheard when people come to test their courage in the library, they always compare her to VoltEdge. Saying what would happen if they meet each other, who is the scariest, who is the coolest, and the list goes on. No one knows who exactly is VoltEdge, it seems people who met her passed out. She watched as VoltEdge held out her hand, shooting out lightning. Serene coated the darkness over her body in haste, just in time before some of the lightning got her, darkness settled on her like her second skin, blocking out the lightning. Serene appears to be darker, like she is still in a shade. While in this state she cannot use any offensive abilities, the darkness here is less enough, she also can't risk letting go of the 'skin'. She understood that VoltEdge giving her a hand was a way of offering friendship, but due to the lightning, normal people usually pass out. VoltEdge must've been so bored and lonely, it seems she doesn't know how to talk either. Serene is determined to be nice to her, she held out her hand to shake VoltEdge's, feeling a little tingle. Her fear of being electrocuted went away. "I'm not sure if you understand but... Hi... My real name is Serene. Nice to meet you.." She gave VoltEdge a smile.

"How dull... Well, I think I've had my fill..." Verloren muttered dully, looking down at the mountain of corpses. He then turned and began to walk off. "Well, I put in my fair share. I'll be off now." He said to Jokerkind before turning to walk off. He slowly closed his eyes, reading the minds of the closest people nearby. 'VoltEdge is nearby... Coil... Hemo... but they seem to be having fun...' He thought. He opened his eyes while a frown appeared on his face. 'Maybe I should have skipped tonight.'

The lightning disappeared and all that was left was a faint glow on VoltEdge's hand. She felt strange when the person touched her hand and furrowed her brows slightly with the tilt of the head, letting the girl shake her hand. VoltEdge nodded a little, appearing quite confused and continuing to shake Serene's hand, not knowing when one should already stop. "Hm?", was all that passed her lips. She did not understand a word of what the other girl said at all but this occurence was too rare and strange for her to simply shake off. She heard another crack of thunder and looked up at the sky. There was the look of want firmly displayed in her gaze.

Serene noticed that the tingling dissapeared. The lightning made her vision a little bit blurry though, it left something like a pattern in her eye, it seems reading too many books and the lightning strained her eyes. Serene noticed that VoltEdge looks confused and haven't stopped shaking her hand. She let go of the hand gently. From the 'Hm?' sound VoltEdge doesn't seem to understand what Serene was saying. She sighed and simply, made a hand sign, she took her left hand and joined it with her right hand, to imitate a handshake. She then put a thubs up, trying to convey that a handshake is a friendly thing to do. Serene then pointed to VoltEdge's glowing hand and imitated the lightning, then shook her head. She felt quite stupid at that point, the acting will make VoltEdge even more confused. The sound of lightning echoed throughout the sky again, she can see that VoltEdge is interested in it. "Do you want to go there?" Serene asked then realized that VoltEdge would not understand. She pointed to the building with a blank questioning look on her face. Serene wanted to get a glimpse of the amazing person up there, but they are villians after all. It wouldn't be so safe. Serene shook her head at VoltEdge, it is better not to interfere with battles, but if they really want to...
Serene engulfed herself in the darkness, pulling out the shadows from their lurking place, it was very difficult since they were standing in the light. She held out her hands, smiling to VoltEdge. If they are in the shadows no one would see them, Serene can get a glimpse of the amazing person and VoltEdge would get to see the lightnings up close. It will be difficult trying to move two people in the darkness, but she can try.
