The difference between the good guys and the bad guys

"Excuse me if I interject here" Tai said as he waved a hand to get a bit of attention on himself. "From what I saw earlier and your run in with those Red Dogs. Letting you two wander on your own is about as good of an idea as letting a child walk out there to fend for himself. No offense to either of you tho it's just that, well honestly neither of you looked to have much combat expertise" Tai said rubbing the back of his head. He was trying his best to make sure his phrasing was the least insulting he could possibly make it tho but he found it was something that was needing to be said. Putting his head down after he said that Tai thought for a moment about what he should say next.
Is whether they use a human shield or make themselves one.

Jackson listened, looking towards Snow then towards Tai with patience as he took in the information "So those demons tried to ruff around near by? Hmmm.." thinking back to their scavenge earlier, they didn't run into any problems. He then looked back towards Snow and crossed his arms "I'm sorry Miss...but in your position, that's not a very convincing answer really..." he said, looking more disappointed than angry, tilting his head slightly. He wanted to find a solution, and so he held his hand up "Before we get into an argument..." not wanting a fight of whom was capable in combat "I'd believe any two wanderers who made it this near far out here have come far enough with their skills and would be fairly capable, but it doesn't change the fact that it's dangerous to go in wrong numbers." he wanted to point out then lowered his hands. "Snow...you may not want to tell us everything , but we've been standing against them for a long time. Long enough...and I don't want to say we're winning, but we aren't losing yet. Now that they've seen you, at least everyone I know saw you, you're the one thing raising the hopes of these people." his gaze following Snow a little more intensely though he didn't show any signs of hostility. "If you're leaving for just survival, you should know what it'll do for these decent people. There's only so many trying to hang on." he said, a moment of pause as he thought back of better people. "So, if you two really want to leave and rough it alone, it wouldn't be in my nature to stop you. You're welcome to stay though, we could really use you on our side and if you want a little training or sparring with the guys around here you're more than welcome to that and our resources."

"Not losing yet?" Jack repeated in disbelief. How could they be so delusional. Perhaps desperation. No where else to turn. "Look around you! We've already lost. Our cities? Destroyed. Our government? Probably eaten alive. Our numbers? No where near theirs." He stopped for a moment to take a breath, calming down. "You know what I've seen? A whole lot of death. Why should this place be any different?" He headed past Jackson towards the doors, stopping once he pressed his hand to the door. He seemed almost, hesitant. "We're leaving Snow..."

Before anything else could be said, there was screaming outside. The longer it went on, the easier it was to understand. An attack on the survivors, demons coming to tear apart the camp.

"Now hold on a minute" Tai said pushing himself from the wall as he gave a soft glare towards Jack. "Just what do you expect to do with that kind of attitude? If you yourself believed that bunch of garbage you just said why are you still here, alive to see today? Why didn't you just qui..." he started but was cut off at the scream outside. "An attack" Tai muttered looking from Yin to Jackson to see what they were going to do. He already knew but being the first one out was not a plan that would end well as instead he pulled his bow from it's holster and ran over again back behind the counter as he began grabbing vials and a few crosses.

Snow clenched her fists when Jackson kept saying that she was the humans' hope. It made her mad, but she tried not to look upset as she turned her gaze to the floor. She wasn't here for their hope. This is why she didn't want to be around other humans. They all think that the angels will always come back for them. She didn't stop Jack, she agreed with him for once. She got up and started to follow him when she too heard the screaming. Demons. Although she didn't want to appear to them as the symbol of hope, she couldn't let them all die. It's not like the demons would let them leave anyways. She looked towards Jack to see what he wanted to do.

Jackson remained silent listening to them, simply watching their eyes just before they headed to the door. When the screams were heard Jack was first to push his way out the door with his gauntlet forming and his right hand. Yin wasn't far behind , she only glanced at the others a moment before heading out, her blade wasn't even drawn ,yet. The look in her eyes weren't very different from the usual, she was simply always ready for war and a part of her almost craved it after this little session.

Outside, the red hounds were tearing the place apart. A few survivors had already lost their lives, their remains popping up here and there with trails of blood leading back to the demons. What was eye catching though, was the must larger demon that accompanied them. It was nearly the size of a bus, it's horns pointed forward, useful for ramming through things. As the group emerged from the church, they all seemed to take notice and advance.

Hoping from behind the counter Tai was the last of the group to finally get out of the door. Being a ranged fighter tho he was the first to claim a kill as he drew his bow back an arrow forming. Letting loose the arrow it flew straight and true it's precision helped by years of training with a regular bow and arrow. The arrow finally hit it's mark as it skewered thru the skull of a red dog killing it instantly and dropping it's body to rest a few feet from a member of the camp. "How did they find this place. I covered our trail" Tai yelled looking around his eyes falling on the giant creature that had broken into the camp.

The orders were clear of taking out the smaller creatures as quick as possible, Yin was on a different course heading for the largest demon and attempting to get its attention. With quick speed she held right arm out that was more heavily armored than her other arm, a quick running path as she avoided other collisions that only slowed her down, though one smaller red dog managed to block her path. Her momentum went into that creature, her right arm brought around and aimed a fist in a head on collision. The dog opened it's mouth, attempting to grab her, but her momentum out weighed that of the small dog that the force split the creature in half. Bones and blood hung in front of her, one of it's horns piercing through her armor into her shoulder though no real damage to be accounted for on her side. Just a mess.

She pulled the creature's horn out, and looked for the other one to use both as weapons almost like daggers. She had a different idea with them, and moved quickly before the other smaller creatures could lunge at her. She took a couple steps before making a large leap towards the mother red dog, the two horns held out ready to stab into the beast and latch onto with the intent to use them like ice mountain climbing tools. She'd hang on for how much grip the horns could give, but the beast started to trash instantly. Yin moved quickly trying to climb her way onto it's back to strike from there, but the creature rolled onto it's side to wipe Yin off and away. Before Yin had a chance to be crushed, she used her feet to push herself off and away from the red dog in a skidding land.

With the red dog turning to look her way among a few other civilians, the smell of their blood on Yin strong enough, it's claws aimed down towards her in another attempt. She was quick to roll out of the way and push herself onto her feet, keeping with her momentum as the front claw followed her. She threw the horn in her left hand towards the beast as a projectile towards the creature's head, aiming near it's eye then grasping her blade with her left hand to turn and block it's attack. Sliding back on her feet, fighting it's strength, she managed to turn and parry the beast's claw past her and prepare a second strike.

Snow flew up into the air and materialized a bow out of light magic. She went near the exit and started sniping the red hounds around the area, clearing them. From what she heard from Taihel, it might have been her angelic aura that brought the demons her. She looked over to the large beast and saw that Yin was handling it. They all seemed busy with the other demons for now.

( you bulldozed my demon puppy man ;w; I was gonna name him oscar )

Jack watched the carnage, noting how Yin was practically a demon herself in these kind of situations, before turning to look at Snow. She didn't seem like she wanted to stay either. Without saying a word, he turned and began to make his way out of the area, leaving them to the fight.

Whatever wounds the large demon dog had received, they healed rather quickly. It let out a roar, flames roaring up from the ground, a blast of wind knocking all those around it off it's feet. It's claws began to glow as it clawed at the ground, sending pillars of flames rising up to engluf those unfortunate enough

Snow shortly followed after Jack, killing any demons that came close or started to pursue them. She saw what the beast had transformed into while she was leaving. Could they really handle that on their own? She looked over at Jack, wondering he thinks.

As the wind came about, the demon unleashing it's attack, Yin flew a moderate distance. The weight of her sword and finding an anchoring point to shove her sword into a near by building. The fires were next, pillars of them rising about and some were becoming engulfed. Yin grabbed a near by woman and threw her over her shoulder, her weapon still in one hand, just to get her out of the fire and a farther distance away from the rampage. She let the woman go shortly after before turning back into the direction, a red dog heading her way near by. It was simple swing of her sword that knocked the creature into a near by building, soon after she went to find Tai.

There were still some hunters standing, fighting the avoiding death and fighting the demons plus the fire. She dodged her way, managed to use her sword to extinguish some smaller fires, and soon she'd catch sight of Taihel, slicing another red dog down she'd move to leap near him "We'll have to take down the small ones as fast as we can and get every hunter on the daddy dog." she informed him, likely he already knew, but she planned to follow him. "You move where you need to, I'll cover your close range. Take out the ones in the distance, save whoever you can."

Tai could reach farther than Yin can. Yin's made some impressive leaps, jumps, and moved almost like a bullet from time to time. She would never be faster than the speed of light, or really even as fast as a bullet. She figured this might be the best way for now, she couldn't be everywhere at once and Tai would be faster.

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys

Tai had taken a few more of the dogs down as sparkles of the light arrows dissipating surrounded the battle field. His draws were becoming noticably slower as the fight continued to drag on. How many arrows had he fired in succession now to help the others. 50.....60... It didn't seem to matter how much he fired two more of the dogs seemed to replace each one that he struck down. Stopping for a quick breather as Yin came up and explained what she wanted the priest nodded as he turned laying his eyes on Jack and Snow. The male was leaving not showing any intent to help the people. It didn't matter tho currently the people of the camp were more important.

Rushing towards the largest pack of dogs that were bearing down on the people of the camp. "There" Tai called to Yin as he skidded to a stop a distance that kept him out of harms way but allowed him to keep picking the creatures off. That of which he began hitting each dog that lurched out to strike at one of the other hunters. There were so many tho the odds where not in there favor in the least. Atleast he could give these people a chance long enough for Yin to get close and begin her onslaught.

Is whether they use a human shield or make themselves one.

Yin nodded, following a short distance just after him after he picked a spot. It was decent, but Yin took a look around to get an idea of the current surroundings. She put her sword back in place on her back "Keep firing, I'll keep you safe." she told him, just before rolling her shoulders a few times as her eyes kept moving to each individual area. There were many still dying, Yin was unsure how many were left and it was becoming harder to find familiar faces. She removed her hood to increase her peripheral vision and the minor nerve senses that hair length gave away.

With a leap, she was off at a fast speed, encountering her first demon with in mere seconds and giving a decent sucker crush across the face, another bone shattering hit. Her skidding momentum followed as she quickly grabbed it by the head and turned the paralyzed red dog into a make shift weapon, swinging it's body into the next demon then throwing it into another small pack of demons. She was off again, her elbow jabbing into one , as her knee came around and knocked it up. She pulled out her small dagger for the few demons charging her way, precise in her aim. It was never about being flashy, it was merely killing as fast as you can. The less shots, the better. A pillar of fire rose near her, singes along her hair just before she leapt' away.
