Setting his hands back to his work, he would begin assembling the central core, without placing an orichalc battery within it. Measured and careful hands slowly set the welds and rivets in place. Calculating eyes watching over the draw and placement of each piece. From this point, the Hokage would move to creating a casing to suspend the core from the rest of the build. An insulated pipe to slide the battery and the cap into place. [ 10/14 ]
Then setting the core over a suspended bed of wood and rubber, he would begin to lay in the next part of the creation. The wiring. Drawing out a collection of wires and accessories from the batch her purchased from Takumi, the Hatake began to lead wires from the core's harness to the alternators. More time spent working metal, albeit now in a much larger fashion, he laid a bed of tubes into place, where the end was insulated from the edges. This would allow power to flow from the batteries in a positive and negative flow. First he set in eight of these slots on the left side of the bed, braced on a bed of wood that was scorched and then coated in a rubber sealant to keep the power from transferring down into the outer shell of the generator. Masahiro smiled as he then repeated the process on the opposite side. From this he would have to build a rack upon which he would seat a rack for eight more batteries. These being the thin, but wider, Chakra batteries, which would fit inside much like one sets a key into a lock. [ 11/14 ]
Working his way from the harness, he set in the core and bedding, then working to make braces around the entirety of the remainder. Turning to the worktable he would open his scroll and remove a large mesh sheet of Chakra steel, working it between the braces and the Chakra Steel Core. Leading wires from this makeshift Faraday Cage, designed to keep chakra from leaking or energy from bounding out to the outer frame, by leading it back into the rest of the circuitry. Referring back to his Manuals a few times he made sure to insulate the braces from the cage itself. Then turning to the forge he placed more pieces of standard steel into the flames and waited for them to reach the proper temperature for drawing them out. [ 12/14 ]
Moving to his dies and his drawing hammer, the Hatake set his anvil up for the next stage. Drawing the steel out into sheets he took them to his dishing dies and began to curve out the panels he wanted to surround the interior workings. Once he had them set to proper shape and aesthetic he would begin to drift out holes to line up with the slots for the batteries. His body was covered in sweat, but he pushed ever onward. [ 13/14 ]
Setting the last panels together and setting the rivets to the hinges that would allow one to enter the inner workings, the Hatake took a step back and sighed. Grabbing a towel, really a tablecloth from the days of the building be a Hokage's manor, Masahiro dried the sweat from his body and grabbed the book he had been working in. Setting the changed pieces and exactly what was required to create it, he smirked. Eventually, this too he would have to share with Bastet. [ 14/14 ]
Just as her name crossed his mind, they crossed his lips too and he stopped, still as a board. He remembered something he had spoken of before and wondered if she might have one or two of the items he needed. Drawing a sheet of paper out he would begin writing a message to her to ask. Pushing the Generator against one of the back corners of the room, the Hatake would look it over for a few minutes, before returning to the forge. Setting up the cage doors on the outside of it, he would begin to start pouring materials into a crucible, his eyes following the trails down the doors as he poured more materials in. After adding fifteen pounds of iron and five of coal, he waited as the chakra he pumped into the forge began the process of combining and forming a lump of chakra steel, this he would then draw out from the forge, peeling away the crucible and forming five ingots of Chakra Steel. Another clay crucible would be set and Masahiro would add to it another fifteen pounds of iron ore and five pounds of coal. Putting a cap overtop of the ingot he would use more wet clay to seal the top to the rest of the vessel before inserting it into the flames. Setting the pot into the forge he would shut the doors and let it reach critical temperature, feeding chakra into the molten material while the carbon set into place. Grabbing another crucible he would impart the materials and set them to the side after claying the top into place. Withdrawing the last crucible, he would then set in the new one. Feeding the chakra cost as the billet solidified, the Hatake would soon remove it, setting it with the others, cutting them down before beginning to cut and shape them into individual ingots. Entering back into the build from before Gen wasn't running though he had a urgent walk about him. Looking around more Anbu lined the hallways. Others posted at doors, though the area with two standing just to the side of a stair way seemed to be the way to where the Hokage was currently located. Moving towards there they only turned their heads looking at the kid as he approached the steps. Looking at him one of them motioned the kid up. Gen moved up the steps noting the vast amounts of Anbu posted within the building, not to mention the ones he couldn't see. Approaching a room he felt the heat from the room and the red glow coming from the frame before entering into the already open doors. A large creation was pushed off into the corner, the bursting heat from the forge caught Gen's skin and his body temperature began to raise due to being near the heat. But this wasn't anything to him due to some of his jutsu training. Looking at the Hokage as he banged his hammer down creating something that Gen was technically unfamiliar with he stared waiting for the Hokage to come to a stand still as he admired his own work. "Lord Hokage, I was told you wanted to see me once again?" He asked him his eyes didn't leave the man now while he waited for his response.

Chakra would glow and jump around the man's hands, aiding in his pushing of the steel into his desired shape. Hammering in quick succession through the remaining four he would set them into the quench bucket, before going over them with the polishing cloth. The Hokage was continuing his craft as Gen approached him listening at first as he began to go on about his newly activated Sharingan. 'Sharingan?' He spoke in his mind, thinking about it an how it may have been a gift from his father. His eyes narrowed for a moment before turning back up to the Hokage. Speaking on how Gen was probably more proud of the fact that he was able to do things on his own, yes that was true. But if this Sharingan was an ability he could use on the battlefield then he would have to put it to the test. 'Tell me what happened.' "Shadow demons is what I could call them, large winged beast formed and attacked myself an the other girl. Ryoku told me my training had gone to the next level and that all I had to do to pass was survive. Then they swarmed as he told the girl she could help; but he could be held responsible for their actions if she choose to help me. Which too be honest she wasn't much help, she even went as far as to b***h at me because I pissed off the teacher." He shook his head before turning back to the Hokage. "An then..." His arm was held up he turned lowering his shirt showing the bandage to his back that ran along his shoulder down to his waist, and then turning back lifting up his leg to show the wrapping as well. Drawing the ingot of steel from the forge, the Hatake would 'toss' the block onto the anvil and begin to cut the ingot down into fifths. Putting the first four onto the edge of the forge to keep heat, he would take to hammering and drawing out the first edge. Once he had the length drawn out he would begin rounding the item on the horn of the anvil, before bringing the edges of the item up to heat once more, forge welding them together. Then flattening the item out wider he sighed and repeated the process four more times. Each faster than the last. Setting the bunch together he would begin to make them for tooth placements, grinding out the teeth as he listened to Gen the Genin explain the events with his former student. Though the small history lesson wasn't for nothing. It did key him in on the reason as to why Ryoku couldn't handle his s**t. Thinking now he looked at the Hokage while he continued to create ingots for himself. "An that's my teacher? A small shrug came from the young Genin before a simple nod was given. "Sure why not, maybe it'll give hot head a minute to cool down." He then glanced towards the Hokage. He called Ryoku the lord Fifth, as in the fifth Hokage? "Wait....he's the fifth Hokage?" He asked looking back at the current Hokage. They've been attempting to dig out under the monument in hopes of making a decent mine for the village, without having to go too far out of the village. They could use some good eyes in scouting out ore, and I could definitely see you being of good assistance to them out there. Gen just thought for the moment, it would be a good opportunity to get away from Ryoku as it seemed that he may not want to see Gen right away. An the other girl, whom was probably the biggest failure he'd seen since the academy; well at least in that last little spar they had anyways. A small shrug came from him, at least she didn't die. But he had been beaten to the point he needed medical attention. Oh well that's what happens when eight shadow demons come at you sent by the fifth hokage.
Maybe a little bit of an ego boost came from speaking with the current Hokage or maybe it was just spite that he thought those things at that moment. But hearing Mashiro's words about who and what to look for. Gen nodded to the Hokage and then turned around his mind now racing thinking many things. Wondering what the Hokage would speak with Ryoku about, wondering if the weasel girl would disagree with his own report, and if the foreman; Sorasu was near the mining tunnel. Heading out of the temporary office Gen hurried down the stairs and out of the academia.

When Nanami returned to the Academia, there was something greatly different about her. She had a look that one only gets upon losing someone they care about greatly; a sort of emptiness, as if a piece had been taken. Nana had never felt such pain, it was a deep aching that filled her down to the bones. It felt cold but sharp, like a thousand shards of ice stuck in to her. Upon reaching the estate of her parents, Nanami hadn't even needed to take a step inside. The ANBU positioned outside and the sound of her mother's heartbroken wailing from within was enough to tell her what happened. Her father had not survived the blast, he had not taken the day off, and he was one of the many who had died in the office. She had thought she hated her father, but now those thoughts of pain and anger were replaced with nothing but regret.
The white haired genin very carefully walked over to Masahiro, giving her superior a tired bow. She had been gone for some time now, taking care of her near comatose mother and recovering from the loss of a person who had played such a big part in her life. Nanami didn't know how to express grief or sadness, she was never taught, so it was safe to say she wasn't taking it well. The hyuuga's tired and sad eyes met with her sensei's, "Tell me what I can do... I need something sensei, please..." Her voice cracked, and she was not herself. "I need to do something, anything. Tell me what to do... I feel like I'm going crazy... "

As Klaus got back he would not waste time with formalities, entering the room where the Hokage, his father, was in. Other than the Hokage, Klaus would also see Nanami, and a new girl. Klaus made a mental note to ask for her name later, but now there were more important matters. "I have returned. Orders, Lord Hokage?" Klaus crossed his arms, waiting for his father's response.
